Staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were a good size and nicely decorated. The rate was also very reasonable. There are a couple good restaurants within walking distance to the property depending on your tastes plus several that you could drive to in a couple minutes. It was being converted over to a Marriott property and there were some renovations being done so it will not be the Newmarket hotel & suites within a few weeks.

Great facility it is now Fairfield by Marriott and has been fully renovated and upgraded. Great quiet spot and staff are super friendly and helpful.

The facility was clean, quiet, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I forgot my glasses there, and they called me the next day to notify me!
The hotel is under renovations, so many things were not working, the vending machines and ice machines were not working. Strangely because it’s reno, there were quite a few things not working in the room. For example, the USB chargers did not work and the bathroom fan did not work. But overall the room was clean and nice.
The other odd thing was the naming of the hotel! We booked it under Newmarket hotel and suites, but the sign on the front says Marriott and I forgot my glasses there and they called me to tell me that and the call came from Holiday Inn! Lol
Overall great hotel for the price though!
