Staff on front desk was absolutely lovely, was able to check us in early. Gym was good size, pool was busy as they also sell day passes I think but still plenty space. Room was clean along with the whole hotel. Only complaint was that breakfast was astronomical (£20pp) especially for Newcastle, I would recommend taking the short walk into town for breakfast instead

Hotel is in a fab location and very clean .The staff were very helpful and courteous. The only problem we had was the bed was very uncomfortable with dreadfull uncomfortable pillow each .The hotel was noisy about 5.30 doors slamming so didn't get a lot of sleep .Breakfast was good fresh and tasty and hot .

Stayed one night - bank holiday Sunday in a Club double room with full English buffet breakfast and a drinks voucher each included. We stayed in room 511 which seemed slightly more spacious than other rooms of this type however only had a partial river view due to being at the end of the corridor. On booking we had requested to have additional pillows for the bed and this was done for our arrival. A very good overnight stay in a hotel located within easy walking distance of bars and restaurants on the quayside. Will be a returning guest .

La pulizia è buona, il letto è comodo, le strutture sono buone. L'unica cosa è il rumore esterno, l'edificio è vicino alla strada principale, quindi a volte è un po'suono, il doppio sguardo aiuta a ridurre il rumore. La posizione è a 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria, la strada dalla stazione ferroviaria all'hotel è in collina, e alcuni posti sono piuttosto rigidi, rendendo difficile trascinare la valigia.

Cannot best the location!!!! Trolley push out of the doors and into the hotel ( or vice versa). No worry about taxi or transfer. Restaurant OK but suffers from the same ailment of so many…. Blinking awful coffee!!!! Also those awful mugs …. I have said before….. I have taken to bringing my own decent mug to drink out of. I ate in the bar last time - similar menu ( same prices) but no booking of a table required. Just got to put up with TV with constant noise or sport…… They let me leave my luggage while I drop off or pick up a hire car…. About 10 minutes walk away. Always my first choice.

Good experience at Sandman Newcastle, location is perfect which is just above the Metro station St James, easy to go around the city, also in a walking distance to the monument easy access to shopping area and many restaurants, staff members are friendly and helpful. Nice restaurant and supermarket in the neighbourhood. The room even equipped with oven and fridge . Recommended strongly

Fantastico hotel. Fantastico personale. Sono davvero speciali per il vostro soggiorno. Dale nel ristorante è stato in grado di accogliere le richieste di dieta e Steph guarda le camere così bene. Grande colazione. Questo hotel è un'oasi a Newcastle.

Una grande qualità di alloggio, con un ottimo sistema di cucina, paesaggio sulla riva del fiume e spazio spazioso per le camere e tavoli; il piano GL ha lavastoviglie, lavastoviglie gratuitamente usato, e il piano G ha bevande per il giorno intero, che sono sufficienti per aggiungere un punto completo. 2.La camera è confortevole per due persone 3. Non c'è servizio in camera, quindi non è possibile sostituire l'indirizzo umido 4. La porta separata dal bagno secco non può essere chiusa in modo che l'acqua si scioglie dopo la vasca.
