Hotel in zona Business closed, New York

Long way to the shuttle bus point and waiting more than 30 minutes for the next pick up. Other than this inconveniences, everything is ok in the hotel.

Questo hotel è stato inaugurato di recente nel 2023. Le camere sono nuove di zecca Sono molto più grandi del Moxy dove ho soggiornato prima a Washington. C'è una macchina da caffè in camera, che è facile da usare un piccolo bar nella hall, comodo per lo shopping. Tuttavia, non ci sono ancora pantofole e scaldabagni. La posizione è remota, quindi ho dovuto prendere un Uber per uscire. Ho mangiato al ristorante dell'hotel, ma non ero abituato al gusto, quindi la mancia era piuttosto alta.

La posizione dell'hotel è comoda per l'entrata e l'uscita. Il personale della reception ha un buon atteggiamento. L'ambiente dell'hotel è buono e la colazione è inclusa 24 ore su 24 al primo piano l'isolamento acustico è nella media. Nel cuore della notte si sente il rumore dell'acqua e dei suoni fuori dal corridoio.

It is the first time that we find a hotel room where the TV is bigger than the closet. Perhaps the hotel's policy is to set up the rooms differently depending on the season: large TV and small wardrobe during the warm season and small TV and large wardrobe during the winter season? Amazing! Considering that the space in the closet is only 23 inches (60cm) the suitcases cannot be emptied and must find a place around the bed in order to be opened. The positive consequence is that moving around the room helps to learn the Sirtaki dance steps: 4 steps on the side and two steps forward. The size of the bathroom is inconsistent with that of the room. The bathroom, in fact, is surprisingly large. The drains, on the other hand, are consistent with the narrowness of the room, in fact as soon as we arrived in the room we found the drains clogged (promptly purged by the hotel's ”specialist technician”). The air conditioning, turned on by default, reminds us of a subway station: the same movement of air and above all the same noise when the subway cars arrive. The same ”specialised technician” then intervened to activate the futuristic air conditioning control unit where, by going through labyrinthine menus, submenus and sub-submenus, in the end he was able to access the on/off disclaimer. Unfortunately the instruction manual for this control unit is not available in the room consequently we have replaced that bizarre electronic panel with that archaic tool called ”window” where with a marvelous handle one is able to change the air in the room. The operation of this tool is friendly enough that it does not need an instruction manual. The room is also equipped with a large screen through which at night you can watch the silhouette puppet show. The screen is the dividing wall between the bedroom and the bathroom built in opaque glass. It is enough to go to the bathroom and turn on the light, whoever is on the bed can enjoy the exhibition, free of charge. The restaurant is quite good and the prices are ok.

Super friendly from the front desk check-in process to the restaurant and bar staff. Concierge was also very helpful. Great seating areas for work, relaxing, or enjoying a drink with friends. Good choice of gluten-free breakfast options both in the restaurant and for room service. You just need to ask. The staff were really friendly and helpful when informed of specific dietary needs. Had a brilliant stay in Hoboken. It was so quick and easy to get into the city (PATH: 15 minute/ 5 stop train ride from Hoboken into downtown Manhattan. Then you get the best of both worlds. A beautiful waterfront experience with pedestrian walkways and great restaurants, as well as access to the vibrant New York city life.

Siamo stati 6 notti al Moxy LES madre e 3 figli adolescenti. L’hotel è perfetto come posizione, 2 fermate metro vicinissime e la J che porta dritto in aeroporto. Personale: Kim, Curtis e Steph sono stati gentilissimi, servizio super veloce in arrivo e partenza, deposito bagagli affidabile, tutti sorridenti e disponibili. La camera per 4 era tutto sommato più spaziosa del previsto, i letti hanno sotto dei cassettoni dove si possono riporre i vestiti ma soprattutto i trolley (più difficile se se viaggia con 4 valige grandi). Vista (10 piano) meravigliosa. Il bagno davvero molto grande aveva la tenda, se a prima vista l’ho ritenuta una pecca, nell’uso in 4 si è rivelata un bel vantaggio perché forniva privacy mentre un’altra persona si preparava sveltendo la preparazione e quindi l’uscita. Riscaldamento personalizzabile. Doppi cuscini, prese usb. Acqua in camera molto gradita. Qualche appendino in più in bagno sarebbe stato utile per lavare meno asciugamani. L’atmosfera dell’albergo è giovane e vivace, al bar al piano terra sono gentilissimi, non abbiamo mangiato al ristorante nè usato il rooftop che è chiuso dal lunedì al mercoledì. Sabato sera la musica è molto alta ma noi abbiamo dormito benissimo comunque. Le camere sono ottimamente insonorizzate perché non abbiamo mai sentito rumori dai vicini. L’ascensore si prende solo con la tessera. Caffè a disposizione al bar la mattina fino ad un certo orario, direi 9.30. Nel complesso non avrei potuto sperare di meglio. Praticamente perfetto! Grazie ai ragazzi per il bel soggiorno.

Buona pulizia e personale cortese. Presente un ATM ed un distributore automatico di cibo e bevande. Caffè americano disponibile. Buon albergo che ci ha consentito una buona base d’appoggio senza spendere una follia; tutto sommato rapporto qualità/prezzo buono.

La posizione dei trasporti è molto buona, puoi prendere la metropolitana fino alla stazione di Columbus Circle, che è a sei minuti a piedi da Central Park. Al mattino puoi camminare lungo Central Park per quindici minuti fino al Museo di Storia Naturale. La stanza era molto piccola e il vecchio condizionatore della finestra era rumoroso. Lo spegnevo quando andavo a letto la sera. Vivevamo su un piano con più di dieci persone di fila di 851 a notte era considerato ragionevole per tale hardware in questa zona di New York. Il più economico, il Trump Hotel della porta accanto, costava più di 5.000 a notte, e l'hotel in cui ho cambiato in seguito costava più di 1.600 a notte. Ma praticamente non c'è conforto, il letto è piccolo e duro e l'effetto di isolamento acustico è praticamente inesistente.

We really enjoyed our stay. Only a $4.50 bus ride to NYC. Bus picks you up in front of hotel. Also close to dream mall. Rooms were clean, good breakfast, and showers were hot. Hotel is a short ride to American Dream Mall. Very reasonably priced. Will stay again.

Inizialmente era un po' confuso perché le suite Homewood e Hampton Inn erano elencate nello stesso edificio, ma siamo lieti di aver scelto Hampton perché era più economico, ma anche condividendo le stesse attrazioni. Il tasso era decente e per la qualità. Era un po' fuori strada per arrivare alla città, ma l'autobus era accessibile e dovrebbe durare solo circa 30 minuti per arrivare alla città.
