This 4-star villa is 1.8 mi (2.8 km) from Bloody Bay and 2.2 mi (3.5 km) from Bloody Bay Beach. Take in the views from a garden and make use of amenities such as complimentary wireless Internet access and concierge services. This villa also features babysitting/childcare (surcharge) and wedding services. Guests can catch a ride to nearby destinations on the area shuttle (surcharge). We have visited Jamaica, many times and this is absolutely the best place we’ve stayed. It’s beautiful. It’s comfortable, the beach is absolutely absolutely magnificent. The room was spacious, large, clean, well laid out. Most importantly the service is out of this world. Austin, our chef, Was a fabulous cook who made exquisite meals every day. I can’t say enough about the excellence of his work and the pleasure of his company. Leona, our butler, was equally excellent. We felt incredibly well cared for. It took about an hour to go from traveling to total relaxation, which lasted the entire vacation. Will be going back next year. You should, too.

The Villas at Idle Awhile are top tier. They are spacious and beautifully appointed. Our Chef Sylvester and house manager Carole were excellent. Sylvester made us delicious Jamaican food and our house manager Carole surprised us everyday with unsurpassed service. She ensured all of our needs were met. These Villas are steps away on the 7 mile beach and nestled in a beautiful canopy of a variety of tress giving a rainforest vibe. The sunsets were phenomenal. The beach was clean with crystal clear water and most days I was lucky to see stingrays and starfish right from the shore on my morning walks. This was by far one of the best experience of my life and I cannot wait to return.

The PERFECT vacation. Words cannot describe our time at Idle Awhile. The Almond villa, the food, the staff, the lavish surroundings, the beach…..! An Impressive, impeccable, exceptional time. Special thanks to Carole, Dorothy and Seamour for making our time memorable.

Honestly, I want to give this a bad review so it will be open when I want to go back but here we are... Personal Villa, Personal Chef ( Awesome Food Big up Jodi!! ), Personal Butler ( Big up Ryan!!!!)= doesn't get any better than this. We also sued the restaurant for the hotel side near us and it was absolutely incredible. The entire staff was beyond awesome and the food and other service was also fabulous! If you want a villa away from the crowds of the hotels this is it!!!

We absolutely love Idle Awhile Villas! We’ve been here many times and will continue to come back! It’s a wonderful place for family or a group of friends. Staff is extremely accommodating and the food is fresh and authentically Jamaican. The secluded villas are nestled in lush island flora which offer a shady refuge from the intense midday sun at the beach. The beach itself is just steps from your door! You can relax in your chaise lounge and watch the entire town of Negril pass by throughout the day. The location is absolutely perfect to enjoy the world-renowned Seven Mile White Sand Beach. Together, the location and staff make this a gem of the Caribbean and a top destination for any international traveler! We cannot recommend it any more strongly and will be back soon!

We had the absolute best time in the Almond Villa from December 26- January 2nd 2024. The staff was amazing and catered to our every need. Fitzroy prepared the most amazing meals and Wendy made sure our trip was perfect with her help with booking excursions for us and making sure we always had a drink in our hand! Dorothy made sure our villa was always fresh and clean and lifeguards Kemar and Colby helped us with anything to do with the beach, while Dale made sure the pool was spotless every day. Nicholas was even able to accommodate us for a late flight so we could enjoy the beach until the very last minute. At Idle Awhile Villas you get to experience the local area and culture of Negril with 5 star luxury accommodations. We had two families with a total of 7 children between the ages of 15-25. Everyone had a blast and we feel so blessed to ring out 2023 and ring in 2024 with these amazing staff members that we now call family. We are already booked to return! I would highly recommend for your dream vacation!

Beautiful private villa with impeccable butler service. The chef was amazing. So enjoyed our private pool. Wildly affordable. Having a private balcony made the each room a lovely, private retreat. We are definitely going back next year.

Stayed In the One Bedroom Villa. It is spacious open and a dream.Loved taking Showers with view of the back area . Welcome staff all very friendly . My chef was really good ,she prepared my meals quickly and they were authentically delicious ! Grounds are very dark at night, I assume to conserve energy. As a solo traveler on this trip , that was my only draw back. Otherwise ill stay here again, in the future and bring my family. Thank you for having me, Idle Awhile

Idle Awhile was spectacular. Austin was the very best chef. The facilities were impeccable and the entire family had a great time. It’s probably my favorite vacation. My cousins visited a few times and they recommended the trip.
