L'ambiente generale dell'hotel è buono. Alcuni camere sono come casa, alcune strutture sono vecchie, il panorama del mare è buono, l'igiene dei letti della stanza deve essere migliorata.

We had an amazing holiday in this beautiful resort. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Room was well equipped and comfortable with all the amenities. Nice sea view rooms. This is the best place in negambo if you search a relaxing holiday. Pool and surroundings are amazing. Restaurant staff were friendly and always with a smile. Special thank to chathuranga. And from the arrival to departure Front Office team well cared us. Thank you so much Mr.Prasanna/ Mr.Riyas for your great hospitality. We will certainly come back. Cheers. Nelka & Dileepa

La prima settimana di febbraio eravamo li usava la piscina, poi non dissero nulla, ma la prossima volta ho chiamato per chiedere di usare la piscina, hanno detto che non era consentito usare la piscina per i locali.Allora ho detto che mio marito è svedese e poi mio figlio, Non è vero che vive all'estero.Quindi come ci si applica e poi mi ha tenuto in mano e poi mi ha chiesto quanto mio figlio ha 8 anni.Ho detto 3 anni e poi ha fatto una scusa falsa dicendo che non permettono ai bambini cosa? Ho chiesto di usare la vostra piscina 4 settimane fa n ora di dire così.E poi ha detto di andare al blu gettando che i locali usano.veramente non professionale e ha continuato a raccontare la gestione e le regole, Ora mi chiedo quali sono queste regole.Come si applica alla mia famiglia.Sono davvero deluso.Mi dispiace dirlo è come il mio paese tratta.Se hanno detto come alcuni altri hotel non prendono gli stranieri prendono solo i pacchetti come buffet e piscina il suo ok.o altri Alcuni hotel ci hanno informato di non avere letti solari, ma se ti piace senza il suo ok.Abbiamo usato così tanti altri hotel come club delfin, Camlot, promessa di fuga sono davvero buoni e sanno come trattare il loro ospite.ma le ragioni che gettando la spiaggia mi hanno detto davvero diverso.Non professionale è tutto quello che devo dire.

Questa era la mia terza permanenza nei Goldi Sands, onestamente, l'ultima volta era quasi vent'anni fa, ma avevo un tempo così grande da allora, ho avuto grandi aspettative. Negli ultimi 20 anni l'hotel ha avuto una rivamp, doppia dimensione, doppia numero di piscine, ha aggiunto un ascensore e hanno rimosso i bungalow davanti alla spiaggia, tutti i quali, a mio avviso, sono stati un passo intelligente e meritano di essere fatto. Il servizio e la catering sono cambiati, ma il personale è molto gentile, ma non ha fatto il giro di un chilometro come era stato fatto. Siamo arrivati tardi, perché il nostro volo era stato ritardato, tutto quello che volevo era un paio di bottiglie di birra, sono arrivati, ma ho quasi dovuto pregare. Ho prenotato un taxi all'aeroporto con il desk front, ma hanno dimenticato che le cameriere a cena erano tutte circa la vendita dura piuttosto che servire. Il colazione, per quanto mi serve la memoria, è sempre stato fantastico, oggi è lo stesso ogni giorno e manca l'immaginazione, è mal presentato, e include il peggiore caffè mai. L'hotel ha un numero confuso di tariffe da tutto compreso alla stanza solo che significa se si vuole comprare una bevanda, ci vuole per sempre perché devono controllare il vostro ”status” e poi se pagano in contanti, devono andare al cassiere perché non sono in flotta. Le camere sono di buona dimensione, pulite e confortevoli ma di base. In tutto ciò è ancora un buon hotel da scegliere, ma purtroppo non è più nella categoria memorabile.

Grande luogo per iniziare o completare la vostra vacanza a Sri Lanka. Così vicino all'aeroporto rende la partenza nel nostro caso davvero rilassante. Le camere sono pulite e confortevoli, ma non sicuri per i valori e l'elettricità è un po 'contatto e andare. Si tratta di un hotel a prezzi ragionevoli e abbiamo trovato il cibo molto buono. Il servizio può essere un po' caotico per dire il meno e il cibo è stato consegnato alla tavola in fasi. La colazione è stata cordiale e piacevole per avere una selezione di diversi piatti sri Lanka, così come la normale. Le spaventose volanti e moschee e infine il treno intruso che passava vicino all'hotel a tutte le ore. L'altra parte era la piscina non era disponibile per nuotare in notte a causa della chiusura delle luci della piscina. E' una vergogna che si sia messo in evidenza il nostro soggiorno precedente qualche anno fa, e dato il clima economico e i problemi che lo Sri Lanka sta affrontando, possiamo certamente perdonarli per cercare di risparmiare denaro e energia. Vale la pena di rimanere per una notte, ma piu' tempo penso che debba investire in un repelente di insetti estremamente buono e cluci.

The owners are just the most adorable. I was a solo female traveller and they looked after me like parents. So sweet. Small but clean rooms. Loved the art decor. Bright and cheery. Cosy. Small swimming pool. Loved the pets too. Nice set breakfast, freshly cooked and served to you. Really short and simple straight walk to the beach, restaurants and bars. I went on a boat cruise one evening and the owners checked to see that the company was legitimate. On two separate evenings, they reserved me lovely tables at restaurants and made sure I had good service. They got up early when I left to help with my luggage and to see me off. Support small businesses. Absolutely lovely.

Good Hotel, I was Impressed with the first impression, Rooms are Cozy and comfy. Lots of ants in the bathroom. Not an issue when I understand its nature and Hotel team attended rightaway and solve the issues. At my checkout, I paid everything. Settled my bills, asked them to store my luggages for 2 hours, as I wanted to do sightseeing and lunch before heading to flight. We stopped by reception twice, once we were waiting for the vehicle we simply asked for a glass of water, even the staffs reconfirmed if we want a glass or bottle.. we clearly mentioned that we need a glass of water. They brought us a bottle of water, which is very nice, excellent and we loved it. After checkout we went out, due to traffic we came back to Hotel in rush, worrying that a minute wasted might miss our flight. It ruined my whole impression with the hotel when the staff member came running behind me mentioning I have a billed to settle, I asked her what is the item to pay since I have settled all my Bill's. She had no clue, started calling her colleagues, while I kept saying I might miss my flight. Make it hurry, at the end because of the hotel service I wasted my time to pay for a bottle of water which is misunderstandings or the hotel, served us a bottle when we asked for a glass, fine if they charge for a glass. Not a problem to pay but the charges should be presented and asked to pay rightaway when they know that we are checkout and ready to go. Just running behind me for payment of a water bottle, irritated me alot and changed my whole impression of the stay. Nice hotel, if you want good comments and to be popular in the city with the tourists. Need to train the team of what service is. Its definitely not the Receptionist fault. Management should train them, be available to make decisions when it's related to customers experience. Or empower the Receptionist in decision making. I have no problem paying for a bottle of water when I have paid alot more for my accommodation and food there.. but last impression was spoiled from their own mistake.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in the best way possible. It was clean, cosy, the staff was very friendly and helpful regarding all our needs, and the place is, like, 3 minutes to the beach. What I would really like to highlight was the cooking. Breakfast was amazing!

The place is very homey and safe ♥️ I would highly recommend this place to any type of traveler. The room is very clean and tidy especially the bathroom. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay awesome and relaxing. They were very accommodating and friendly.. The airport transfer fee is very affordable. I would definitely give this place more than 5 stars and I can surely say this is the best place to stay in Negombo.

Damit wir am Morgen nahe beim Flughafen waren, wählten wir dieses Hotel. Wir waren äusserst überrascht, wie wir hier bedient wurden. Sofort wurde der Pool in Betrieb genommen, Matratzen und Tüchlein bereit gestellt. Kaum haben wir Platz genommen, war ein offerierter Drink da. Dann fiel der Strom für ca 4 Stunden aus. Sofort wurden Kerzen gebraucht. Da man das Abendessen nicht zubereiten konnte, wurde ein Take away für uns organisiert. Unsere Abfahrt vom Hotel war um 05.00. Sofort erklärte sich der Kellner bereit, für uns das Frühstück um 04.30 zuzubereiten und zu servieren. Einfach grossartig. Ueberhaupt hat uns Kellner Nava in jeder Beziehung verwöhnt. Wir wussten dies sehr zu schätzen. Solche Mitarbeiter findet man nicht überall. Besten Dank für den tollen Service! Wenn wir wieder einmal in Negombo sind, werden wir im Daffodils Beach Hotel absteigen.

Posto incredibile. La stanza era impeccabile e lo staff altrettanto. La sera abbiamo mangiato al ristorante della struttura, Salt. TRAVIN ci ha seguito durante tutto il corso della cena ed è stato straordinario. Questa esperienza non sarebbe stata la stessa senza TRAVIN che ci ha consigliato il cibo e fatto conoscere parte della cultura srilankese
