Negombo: i migliori hotel a 5 stelle

We had an amazing holiday in this beautiful resort. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Room was well equipped and comfortable with all the amenities. Nice sea view rooms. This is the best place in negambo if you search a relaxing holiday. Pool and surroundings are amazing. Restaurant staff were friendly and always with a smile. Special thank to chathuranga. And from the arrival to departure Front Office team well cared us. Thank you so much Mr.Prasanna/ Mr.Riyas for your great hospitality. We will certainly come back. Cheers. Nelka & Dileepa

Oh it’s a long story of visiting this beautiful Logoon side Resort. We had booked this resort way back in 2021, but Covid2 arrived. We postponed to 2022 but Economy meltdown happened, we booked for 2023 but has to postpone for personal reasons. All this while , the Resort was extremely patient and finally we made it in 2024. Apart from many other Front Office officers, it was ultimately Ms Sachini because of who this trip happened. Thanks to her, and her Manager Mr Muzini Jiffry for their excellent Customer handling. The resort itself is beautifully located on a thin ***** of land with the ocean on one side and Negambo lagoon. Well mowed lawns, beautiful rooms, Pool by the Lagoon, Dining hall with Lagoon view. Their F&B department could have no match. Buffet spreads were amazing. Restaurant Manager Mr Ian was so very cooperative, Chef Anurag always served with a smile. Chef Mahesh was the person who created some amazing dishes on our personal request. Shanika the Restaurant Supervisor made sure we ate well and affectionately served us. Our House keeper was also so efficient. She ensured our neat and clean stay. We were also fortunate to meet the Chairman of Regenta Resorts during our stay. He exchanged some good words with us and asked us to visit again. Overall an Out Of The World experience. We’ve decided to visit this Resort again.

L'ambiente generale dell'hotel è buono. Alcuni camere sono come casa, alcune strutture sono vecchie, il panorama del mare è buono, l'igiene dei letti della stanza deve essere migliorata.

Questa era la mia terza permanenza nei Goldi Sands, onestamente, l'ultima volta era quasi vent'anni fa, ma avevo un tempo così grande da allora, ho avuto grandi aspettative. Negli ultimi 20 anni l'hotel ha avuto una rivamp, doppia dimensione, doppia numero di piscine, ha aggiunto un ascensore e hanno rimosso i bungalow davanti alla spiaggia, tutti i quali, a mio avviso, sono stati un passo intelligente e meritano di essere fatto. Il servizio e la catering sono cambiati, ma il personale è molto gentile, ma non ha fatto il giro di un chilometro come era stato fatto. Siamo arrivati tardi, perché il nostro volo era stato ritardato, tutto quello che volevo era un paio di bottiglie di birra, sono arrivati, ma ho quasi dovuto pregare. Ho prenotato un taxi all'aeroporto con il desk front, ma hanno dimenticato che le cameriere a cena erano tutte circa la vendita dura piuttosto che servire. Il colazione, per quanto mi serve la memoria, è sempre stato fantastico, oggi è lo stesso ogni giorno e manca l'immaginazione, è mal presentato, e include il peggiore caffè mai. L'hotel ha un numero confuso di tariffe da tutto compreso alla stanza solo che significa se si vuole comprare una bevanda, ci vuole per sempre perché devono controllare il vostro ”status” e poi se pagano in contanti, devono andare al cassiere perché non sono in flotta. Le camere sono di buona dimensione, pulite e confortevoli ma di base. In tutto ciò è ancora un buon hotel da scegliere, ma purtroppo non è più nella categoria memorabile.

Troppo vecchio, insomma, il gruppo Jetwing dell'hotel a Sri Lanka vale la pena lodare oltre alla galleria, gli altri lagooni e la casa luce sono troppo vecchi, e perché sono le opere dei designer nazionali, il prezzo è più alto, non un hotel ad alto prezzo

A great place to start my small tour of SriLanka. I had a late arrival flight into Colombo so was keen to have a short transfer. This Lagoon Hotel was perfect, only 10mins from the airport, and quite the treat on arrival. Great pool, relaxed environment and of course in the Sri Lankan way, amazing service. The front if house team were very welcoming and helpful and Arusha and her amazing team in the bars and restaurant made us feel very welcome. The food is very good and the lobster and giant Prawns that came straight from the lagoon were delicious. Save yourself for breakfast though! What a feast!! The room was very comfortable, a ceiling fan would have been nice, as the aircon as a little noisy. A few extra amenities in the room would have been appreciated, moisturiser or similar for the silly Englishman who underestimated the power of the sun!! Overall a perfect relaxing start after a very long day travelling. Thank you

La prima settimana di febbraio eravamo li usava la piscina, poi non dissero nulla, ma la prossima volta ho chiamato per chiedere di usare la piscina, hanno detto che non era consentito usare la piscina per i locali.Allora ho detto che mio marito è svedese e poi mio figlio, Non è vero che vive all'estero.Quindi come ci si applica e poi mi ha tenuto in mano e poi mi ha chiesto quanto mio figlio ha 8 anni.Ho detto 3 anni e poi ha fatto una scusa falsa dicendo che non permettono ai bambini cosa? Ho chiesto di usare la vostra piscina 4 settimane fa n ora di dire così.E poi ha detto di andare al blu gettando che i locali usano.veramente non professionale e ha continuato a raccontare la gestione e le regole, Ora mi chiedo quali sono queste regole.Come si applica alla mia famiglia.Sono davvero deluso.Mi dispiace dirlo è come il mio paese tratta.Se hanno detto come alcuni altri hotel non prendono gli stranieri prendono solo i pacchetti come buffet e piscina il suo ok.o altri Alcuni hotel ci hanno informato di non avere letti solari, ma se ti piace senza il suo ok.Abbiamo usato così tanti altri hotel come club delfin, Camlot, promessa di fuga sono davvero buoni e sanno come trattare il loro ospite.ma le ragioni che gettando la spiaggia mi hanno detto davvero diverso.Non professionale è tutto quello che devo dire.

I recently stayed at Vivanta Colombo Airport Gardens and had a mixed experience. The pool area is absolutely fabulous, offering a great place to relax. The food exceeded my expectations, with wonderful flavors and a good variety. The staff were notably attentive, contributing positively to the overall experience. However, the pricing felt a bit steep for what was offered, especially given the disappointing room view which was just overlooking buildings, contrary to the picturesque images advertised. Additionally, the terms and conditions were confusing and poorly written, potentially disadvantaging guests. A word of advice: skip the pricey airport shuttle service, which costs 4000 Sri Lankan rupees, and opt for an Uber or PickMe ride, which you can get for around 500 rupees.
