The hotel has a great location, the owner is very nice, the service is attentive, the rooms are clean and hygienic, and the surrounding shopping and dining are convenient. It's a great vacation experience.

下了飛機直接入住尼甘布的酒店，春節價格400左右左右一個房間，就是住一晚，沒有定貴的房間，性價比高。另外補充一點，隔壁餐廳很好吃，價格也很優惠，滿意！酒店旁邊是一個教堂⛪，酒店距離魚市車程五分鐘，很方便！

因為第二天一早要去聖瑪麗教堂，就選了這家入住，在一條比較小的弄堂裏，房間簡單清爽，作為在尼甘布中轉住一晚，還可以，沒什麼中國客人，有一些外國人，早飯簡單，麪包，水果，茶，咖啡，煎蛋，還有斯里蘭卡當地的一種飯，酒店的小哥還是盡心服務的，對住宿要求高的可能不那麼合適

房間還行，但就是晚上當地人在唱卡拉OK，半夜還在唱，太吵了。不太推薦。如果想對當地生活了解下，也許可以考慮，附近都是居民區，買東西比較方便。早上有騎自行車賣麪包的小哥。

過渡用客棧

Abbiamo soggiornato come tanti a Negombo, che ormai è la prima tappa fissa per chi arriva o parte dallo Sri Lanka. L'hotel è a circa 20 minuti dall'aeroporto, per il quale a pagamento può anche effettuare il transfer. La sua posizione lo rende molto comodo anche per fare una bella passeggiata nella città. In poco tempo si arriva fino al mercato del pesce. Struttura e camera erano molto pulite, anche se in alcuni punti serviva qualche ritocco per coprire segni ed usura. Camera e bagno molto spaziosi. In camera è presente un balcone con tavolino e sedie che si affaccia sul canale. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Colazione buona e variegata. Molto buono il ristorante accanto.

Checked in for 1 night's stay with a local friend/guest on 27th February 2025 after arrival in Colombo. Checked out next morning. A day later realised clothing and personal care items from us had gone missing. Alerted reception following which clothing items were returned with the exception of a facial care product. A few days later realised an expensive jacket was also missing. The loss was reported to the hotel. On hindsight realised that our lugguage, most likely, were rumagged through when we were at breakfast and certain items removed. Very very dishonest staff operating in that hotel. An awful experience arriving as a tourist.

The hotel was a bit worn but functional, in a nice location to walk to the old town, along the canal, and at the harbor of the lagoon. Plenty of shops around. Staff were friendly, the food was decent, not great. I would stay there again should I ever return to Sri Lanka and arrive in the early morning hours at the airport. Pretty decent for the price.

Spent our first night in Sri Lanka & it was a perfect start after a long flight.Friendly staff, clean & has a good little restaurant & bar & very reasonably priced. Our room backed onto the Dutch canal & you could hear boat traffic at random times in the early morning but that's OK, but the exhaust fumes from them were strong, but that's not a hotel issue.

This hotel was really handy for the bus station. It was a little shabby in places - could’ve done with a touch up of paint. But the bed was comfortable and the shower good. And there was a great choice for breakfast. The restaurant next door had great food at a good price too.

The hotel is very clean, with excellent service, good breakfast, and very polite staff. If you don't have a budget problem, I recommend this hotel, everything is great. It is next to the river and the sea and has an attractive atmosphere . ...

Great place to stay, very clean and in a really central location in negombo. The room was well appointed, my only complaint was that the bedside shelves were hung poorly and were on a slant down which limited their use. Far exceeded my expectations for the price

Hive 68 at Negombo !! is one experience I shall remember and cherish. Located in the midst of the town of Negombo, it has its advantage of being close to the airport. So, if you are getting in or getting out you could consider planning your stay here accordingly and you’d be pleased with it. About the hotel and its rooms. It’s more of a Bed and Breakfast concept. Ideal for solo or couple travellers. With kids too small I’d not recommend it.  Rooms are neat, well-spaced with decent and clean washrooms. Each room has its own mini veranda with a small sit out, overlooking the lagoon stream, the village and the beautiful St Mary church. The décor all over is kept simple, yet elegant in its own way. Request for room service as per your need and the staff, polite and very hospitable will take care of it. The beauty of Sri Lanka is experienced with the country and its people. To understand this, it is best witnessed. The morning breakfast isn’t of the buffet type, with time they could put it up as an option. You are individually served a fruit platter with a local fresh fruit juice followed by your choice of eggs, accompanied with sausages, bacon, bread toast and coffee or tea. A small yet decent portion to start off your day. The restaurant has a basic menu with mainly a mix of continental and Sri Lankan food. For drinks the local Beer and wine is a good option.A local curry rice is what I’d suggest to include as I found it missing, given the town feel. The portions again are sumptuous and filling. For its location one can explore around the town with ease. Local sight-seeing includes many churches, few temples, a fish market and a beach with a lot of tourist friendly restaurants. My room had a nice balcony onto the canal with view of church. The staff were friendly. Room did not have frig or safe, but kettle was provided with tea/coffee accessories. The generator was very loud but fortunately only used for a brief period when power was out. Good water pressure with warm water. Breakfast took longer than expected but was decent. Location is a bit away from the main drag of Negombo.
