Ho alloggiato in questo albergo 2 notti . Molto scenografico e con elementi molto ecosostenibili . Il problema è che non è pratico . Disposto su due piani non dispone di ascensore il che rende difficoltoso lo scarico delle valigie per persone con problema alla schiena come noi . Non è previsto neppure il servizio di aiuto alla reception . Un dipendente si è offerto ma per sua pura disponibilità . Amico con handicap invece in camera a 500 metri da ingresso , senza aiuto per valigie e con attraversamento di corridoio studiato da architetto praticamente all’aperto . Insomma la bellezza conta ma io preferisco la comodità che a volte, per persone non più giovani , è indispensabile .

Hotel con architettura molto particolare sia all'esterno che all'interno, camere estremamente spaziose con arredo minimal, molto legno e richiami all'architettura tipica della zona, bagno poco luminoso, comunque il tutto è molto pulito. Buono il ristorante "a la carte" un pò meno a buffet così come la colazione, molto limitata. Peccato anche la lontananza, quasi 2km, dalla città di Puerto Natales,

Hotel molto particolare, ma assolutamente scomodo, a più di due km. dal paese e i servizi lasciano molto a desiderare. Colazione non così abbondante nella scelta e soprattutto con un pessimo caffè. Non c'è TV né bollitore in camera, poca luce in bagno, doccia scomoda sopra la vasca. Wifi solo nelle aree comuni che non sono così vicine a tutte le stanze, vista la conformazione dell'hotel. Si passa da ambienti caldi a corridoi freddi per raggiungere le camere, all'esterno per raggiungere la Spa. È successo che rientrando alle 8 di sera la nostra camera non fosse ancora stata pulita. Insomma hotel bello ok, ma se poi non mi dai i servizi non va bene. Ci abbiamo passato tre notti in un tour organizzato e, sinceramente, non vedevo l'ora di cambiare hotel.

Quirky hotel. Good sized rooms with nice extras, such as packs of tissues, water, and local chocolates. Did not get the chance to use the pool. Cocktails from the bar were excellent. It is a 30 min or so walk from town, and when walking along the main road you are often accompanied by local dogs whose main pastime is chasing and barking at cars and bikes.

Nice hotel, great location, good restaurant and staff. But here is where they can make improvements 1. Don’t boil the guest to death. Heating is way too hot 2. The older reception staff are really rude. 3. Rooms are dark. 4. Spa needs to be a bit warmer and friendlier. In general it felt we was in there house and not invited.

Our room was clean and quiet, with high ceilings and live-edge timber panels. We noticed an odd odor when we first entered the room, but hoped that opening the (one, small) window would help. Unfortunately, by the next morning it became clear that the odor was coming from the toilet. A pleasant surprise was the turn-down service: the blinds were closed, the bed neatened up, and there was a little box of Calafate treats when we returned after dinner. Otherwise, the room was pretty basic. There were no robes or amenities beyond shampoo, conditioner, and soap in wall-mounted dispensers, and two pocket packs of tissues. Wi-fi in the room ranged from poor to nonexistent. Our stay included breakfast only; a full meal program is available. Breakfast was a self-service buffet. There was sufficient variety that we did not leave hungry. It is a half-hour walk to the town center, with taxis available on request.

This is my first Trip Advisor review and I just felt I had to acknowledge the amazing stay we had at Remota. From the helpful staff on the front desk, to Jamie who was great in planning our excursions, Felipe, Renato and Alejandro who were awesome guides, the very attentive bar and restaurant staff and the cleanliness of the hotel, I really couldn’t fault our stay. Thank you Remota!

We stayed at the Remota for 2 nights after our stay at Explora. Although we loved actually staying in the park, Remota would make a great base for exploring Torred del paine at a reasonable cost. It is visually beautiful, the food was excellent and the staff very helpful and friendly.

We asked reception to confirm the time of Chris**as Eve mass in the Catholic Church in Puerto Natales, and was told “I don’t know”. When asked to please check, was informed it was at 9:30pm. Arrived at the church at 9:15pm and mass was over. It was at 8:00pm. I cannot begin to explain how distressing this was. First Chris**as away from home and denied the experience of mass.
