Siamo andati al ristorante accanto e abbiamo ricevuto aiuto dal proprietario cinese dell'hot pot per il check-in. Con uno smartphone e un traduttore, ha funzionato rapidamente. La camera e i mobili sono piuttosto vecchi e il letto è duro come la roccia. La posizione a Ita Tao è centrale e ci vogliono solo 2 minuti per raggiungere le strade con molte bancarelle di cibo. È difficile trovare un parcheggio in città poiché attualmente è in fase di ristrutturazione. Non c'è un parcheggio privato. C'era un distributore d'acqua, ma niente forno a microonde.

Location is perfect, but keep couple things in mind. For all rooms with shared bathroom. There is only 1 toilet to use which is equiped with one of the showers. This shower is the only decent shower stall from all 6 showers with enough space to put your towel or clothing etc. The other douche stalls are equiped with a hook, but your clothing gets wet.  For the rest the rooms were fine for me, but the beds are quite hard. Also the window doesnt block any noise from outside. Which is quite annoying in the beginning of the evening when there is still traffic on the street. But price quality is alright in my opinion, you get what you pay for!

Nice guesthouse on Ida Thao side of the lake. Note the place is not a manned desk so you go to the hot pot shop to the left of the guesthouse (I found this out from reading other reviews as we weren’t sent any check-in info in advance) and they will check you in. Be aware if you are getting into SML from elsewhere by bus and you arrive after about 5pm it will be difficult to get to Ida Thao as the bus terminal is the opposite side at Shuise and the last ‘round the lake bus’ leaves at about 5pm and it’s not walkable. We got a coach from Taipei which broke down so we weren’t able to get to SML until almost 9pm and actually had to book somewhere in Shuise last minute instead for the first night. Trip.com says this place has a ‘taxi booking service’ however this isn’t the case when we enquired. The actual guesthouse is nice, spacious and just next to the food street and few mins walks to the pier.

日月潭最划算的飯店。省錢首選。訂的公共衞浴，女生有三個淋浴間，一般不需要排隊。房間設施簡單，基本夠用。交通便利，斜對面就有環潭公交，但班次很少要搜Google確認時間出行。旁邊有熱鬧的小吃街，在伊達邵碼頭旁邊，坐船、租車、坐纜車都很近，步行可到。
