We booked this condo flat for four for three nights of stay because we thought the location was near Naha Kokusai Dori Shopping Street. When we arrived at the condo, we had to check in by ourselves using the wall-mounted tablet that’s situated at the building lobby. The check-in procedure was cumbersome as there was a lot of information needing to be filled in. After that, we received the pass code for retrieving the room key that was supposed to be kept in the mail box as per instructions. When we opened the mailbox there was no room keys but only dusty promotional flyers. So we called help desk and the lady on the phone, despite her politeness and making me repeat all my booking details, didn’t really help at all. Fortunately a Japanese girl who also stayed at the condo extended her helping hand to us. She took us to our floor and opened the water valve closet. Used the room number to unlock a small box that was attached to the water meter hoping to find a key there. However no key again. We then checked it the surrounding centimetres by centimetres. Found another lock box and managed to retrieve the room key which was supposed to be inside the mailbox… to sum up, check in experience was nasty. During the 45 minutes spent inside the tiny building lobby and on treasure hunting the room key, I would definitely not recommend this place to my family and friends as a lodging choice because of misleading information, zero service, and not so conveniently located after all. The condo was exactly the same as advertised so maybe we were really just unlucky.
