Hotel in zona DFS Galleria Okinawa at Naha Airport, Naha

I booked the hotel as the base for my solo Okinawa trip after a great stay at its Kyoto branch. Firstly, the pros: great location. 5-min walk from Asahibashi Monorail Station, 3-min walk to Tourist Visitor Centre and Naha Bus Terminal, 13-min walk to Kokusai-dori made it convenient for city sights, dining and souvenirs, bus daytrips and boat tours. Interior lobby, rooms and 13F public bath lounge seemed new and decorated in soothing natural tones, giving the hotel an island resort feel. Having said that, several major cons make me not wish to stay here again: 1) Hotel reception staff can be more welcoming. They declined me room entry at 130pm (which is typical in Japan) but they did so without offering help to store my luggage upon arrival or deliver it to my room by the time I return for check-in. They also declined my river view room request, citing the category I booked only has city view. Later, I found out on my own that only twin or triple rooms offer the river view. I was not expecting an automatic upgrade, but it would be nice if I had been offered a clear explanation on room categories or a change to river view room (even if I have to pay extra). I felt disadvantaged as a solo traveller. Also, staff are easily nervous when interacting with international guests and could not really handle simple questions in English, like whether there is a public bath, is it open to all guests, or how guests can pay for additional breakfast during their stay. I also observed them struggling to understand a request in English from two foreign guests who wished to borrow a luggage weight scale. Two senior staff members came out to help the reception staff, but all three still took a while to understand the request. 2) I was queueing behind the same foreign guests to raise urgent feedback regarding loud banging noises made by the 10F Smoking Room door directly above my room (Room 913). Meanwhile, 2 local Japanese guests arrived at the reception. I observed one male staff member ignore me and asked them to approach the counter instead. I nearly walked up to them but I held myself back. It was my first time being treated differently in all of Japan. This different treatment of guests added a seriously unpleasant feeling to my stay. 3) Not all room lights can be manually or motion-controlled. The light above the clothes rack is too bright and always on, even when the master switch is off. It was hard to fall asleep at night. The hotel should modify this room detail to ensure all guests can get a good night's rest. Will I stay here again? With the issues above and many other good hotels nearby, most likely not. The hotel decor may be warm and inviting, but the staff inability to communicate effectively with all guests and make them comfortable makes for a cold stay.

La posizione e l'igiene dell'hotel sono ottime ed è vicino alla stazione della metropolitana leggera. Al piano di sotto c'è Donki. Chiude alle 3 del mattino e l'hotel può andare direttamente al 2° piano di Donki. Se hai bisogno urgente, puoi andare a Donki per acquistarlo. Dato che l'hotel offre un servizio self-service, il personale di servizio è molto ridotto. Abbiamo dovuto aspettare molto tempo prima di poter effettuare il check-in quel giorno. Inoltre, poiché siamo una famiglia di quattro persone, abbiamo prenotato un quattro-. persona, ma la stanza era troppo piccola Dopo aver disfatto i bagagli, non c'è molto spazio per camminare, ma se è una stanza per due o tre persone, c'è abbastanza spazio. Cinque minuti di cammino davanti alla stazione di contea. Sono molto convenienti hotel commerciali. Ci sono ristoranti, negozi convenienti, farmaci ecc. Although the room is quite small, it provides all necessary facilities you need when you stay in a hotel. Breakfast was good. Location is the best. One annoying thing is the smoking area at the front door of the hotel. We smelled it many times when we walked in or out from the hotel.

Small but wonderful room with its most amazing most amazing shower system literally from head to toe. Breakfast was great and there is free flow of soft drinks and one alcoholic drink per pax from mid afternoon till night at L1 restaurant. Parking is approximately 700 yen per night and there is a 500 yen restaurant voucher if you opt out daily cleaning.

l'hotel non dispone di servizi quindi ho messo 1 stella. l'hotel è a circa 5 minuti a piedi dalla fermata dell'autobus e dall'aeon maxvalue (supermercato), a 20 minuti a piedi dal terminal degli autobus di Naha (a 2 fermate di autobus), la camera è pulita, la colazione è pane e burro. il personale è cordiale.

Igienico e pulito. L'ambiente è in una posizione centrale con trasporti, ristoranti e negozi molto convenienti. Anche il servizio è molto buono ed educato. L'unico difetto delle strutture è che il bagno non è separato dalla zona asciutta da quella umida, il che è un po' scomodo. Ci tornerò se ne avrò la possibilità.

This hotel was great! The room was comfortable, clean, and had enough storage and space for luggage. The hotel was nice, the pool is really fun! Also, they had bubbles in the elevator lobby one night?? So fun!! :)

La stanza è spaziosa in standard giapponese. Tutte le strutture sono tempestive e pulite. Il ricevitore è molto utile, e rapidamente organizzato prenotazione di taxi all'aeroporto. La posizione è buona per gli acquisti con grande centro commerciale e supermercato intorno.
