Hotel in zona Grand Casinò Portorož, Municipality of Piran

Un posto dove ci si può rilassare riposare e godersi la splendida città di Portorose con il suo mare. L' hotel Lucja si trova proprio sul lungo mare, accolti alla reception da Tina gentilissima che ci ha dato le istruzioni su come andare nella piscina di acqua salata termale (che è un toccasana per la salute), su dove fare colazione e cenare (tutto buonissimo e di ottima qualità),ci ha dato le chiavi e siamo saliti in camera. Tutto pulito, arieggiato e con materassi e cuscini comodissimi, vista sul mare, aria condizionata. Non è mancato proprio nulla. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente.

La struttura è composta da una parte storica (ove sembra che abbia soggiornato addirittura anche il presidente Tito) ed una moderna, costruita, ovviamente, successivamente. La rilassante musica di sottofondo nelle parti comuni è forse una delle prime piacevoli sensazioni che si provano in questa struttura. Ascensori al centro della struttura che collegano i vari piani. Piscina molto particolare con interno ed esterno collegati tramite un canale + vasca idromassaggio caldo. Il tutto rigorosamente d'acqua marina, opportunamente trattata. Giardino relax esterno con cocktail di benvenuto la sera del check-in. Camere molto curate, pulite e con comodo lettone. Personale gentilissimo e professionale. Unico aspetto negativo: purtroppo durante la colazione piccioni ed uccellini la fanno la padrone sui tavoli... dopo proteste la situazione è migliorata ma non risolta. Analogo problema con i gabbiani tra i tavolini e lettini della piscina: vietato lasciare cibo incustodito! A proposito della piscina devo rilevare un po' di incuria: alcune parti arrugginite, piastrelline della piscina divelte... Il ristorante interno non ci ha soddisfatto, né sulla qualità né sui prezzi. Colazione varia ma con pochissimi cambiamenti nel corso dei giorni. Ribadisco, nulla da dire sul personale. Carini i vari vasoni in vetro che erogano gratuitamente acqua fresca con a bagno limoni, cetrioli ed arance.

In sintesi: piuttosto spendi più soldi e prendi il Kempinski della porta accanto. Questo hotel ”Lifeclass” è una gloria sbiadita. Le foto fornite per ”Camera doppia standard con vista mare” non sono realistiche. Ho pagato più di 330 USD per una vecchia camera d'albergo logora! La vista sul mare era una vista su una vecchia terrazza della piscina... La situazione dei parcheggi è come già descritta. Citazione della reception: ”abbiamo un parcheggio in hotel, per trovare uno spazio libero, buona fortuna”. Positivo: le Terme sembrano belle e rinnovate dall'esterno e la colazione era buona.

The hotel is located right on the beach (well, what goes as ‘beach’ here – basically a concrete deck up to the sea), with all rooms having a sea view. It is still within easy reach of the centre of Piran, reached by a path along the coast. As you reach the hotel, you will find that parking is a real issue – there are not enough parking lots for all 50+ rooms, and the area is popular for going to the beach; the public parking lots charge 15 € per day, are at least 100 m away, and fill up as well. The reception is friendly and efficient. Once you are checked in, you walk through the breakfast room and up a ramp to a single, small, old elevator that takes you up to the rooms in the main building; it doesn’t inspire much confidence, so most guests only use it to bring their luggage to / from the rooms – it’s only three storeys max… While some rooms (those with numbers ending with x06 to x09) face the lake and the coastline of Piran, the rest is built to face more towards the sea; that makes little difference in terms of the views, but keeps the sun out more. The rooms are small for two people, in particular the wardrobe – it looks like it is rather made for a stay of a few days than for a week or two. There is a little fridge / minibar; the WiFi works. The bathrooms are very small (except for the shower), with no place to put toiletries (well, on the cistern of the toilet…) – two people will struggle to use it at the same time. There is a hair dryer with US sockets. The beds are good, but only have a single pillow type. There are opaque curtains to keep the daylight out; while they leave light through at the sides and the top, they do a reasonable job. It is very quiet at night (unless the other hotel guests aren’t…), so all set for a good night’s sleep. A simple but reasonable breakfast buffet is included in the room charge, with seating inside and on a terrace facing the beach and the sea. During the day and in the evenings, reasonable food can be had at the restaurant; the service is efficient (no long waiting times).

Eccellente benvenuto al check-in. Inizio caloroso e amichevole del nostro soggiorno. La camera era bella e pulita. Buona vista mare anche al piano basso. La posizione era fantastica tra la frenetica Pirano e Portorose. Posto tranquillo e pacifico.

La mia recensione è relativa alla nostra camera. Non ho utilizzato alcun servizio dell hotel, né visitato la struttura. Camera brutta, con una finestrella piccola all altezza del pavimento e una sul soffitto (la camera è in un sottotetto). La finestra piccola non presentava alcuna tenda e quella a soffitto presentava delle persiane che facevano entrare la luce all'alba. Essendo la finestra a soffitto non abbiamo potuto neanche provare ad oscurare con gli asciugamani e ci siamo svegliati alle 6 di mattina. Il prezzo è assolutamente sproporzionato. 200 euro a notte per una camera del genere è un furto. L'unica cosa ”positiva” è che nessuno alla reception ci ha chiesto come ci siamo trovati...evidentemente immaginavano già la risposta. Se avete intenzione di utilizzare questo hotel NON ACCETTATE LA CAMERA 317. Spero sia la peggiore della struttura e che siamo stati semplicemente sfortunati noi.

Avevo riposto molte aspettative su questa vacanza, ma devo dire che purtroppo sono rimasto molto deluso!!! Hotel che dichiara di avere 5 stelle, ma direi che al massimo posso attriburgliene 3! L'hotel ha bisogno di fare parecchi lavori, dall'impianto di condizionamento, che perde continuamente e di conseguenze è molto pericoloso perché bagnando in terra un turista un po' sovrappensiero può cadere. Le camere sono vecchiotte e la moquette nel 2023 non si può più vedere! Se vogliamo parlare del cibo vi posso dire che durante il nostro soggiorno abbiamo mangiato solo pollo alla griglia e patate lesse.... La pasta, immangiabile scotta e tutti i sughi contenevano panna avvolonta..... Dopo aver prenotato ben il 24 di dicembre con 8 mesi di anticipo chiedendo espressamente un acamera silenziosa, ce ne sono 250, mi hanno assegnato la 349 sopra il carico scarico delle merci e quindi dalle 5.30 della mattina un ****** infernale e toccava alzarci.... Un incubo!!! Il personale della piscina molto scortese e uno solo parlava l'italiano tutti gli altri Croato o pochissimo inglese incomprensibile. Una cosa positiva la devo dire, il personale alla reception in particolare Doriano bravissimo e disponibilissimo. Devo dire bene anche delle cameriere, dei camerieri al servizio colazione e cena, Edo bravissimo e un plauso particolare va fatto a Katrin della Consierg, perché ha provato in tutti modi ad addolcirci un po' l'amaro in bocca della vacanza cercando di rimediare in parte ai disagi, offrendoci gratuitamente un gazebo nel parco e una bottiglia di vino alla fine del soggiorno. Se posso dare un consiglio alla proprietà, a parte il personale della piscina, le altre persone tenetevele strette!!!

We were visiting the Slovenian Coast for 5 Nights as a couple with a dog. We opted for a hotel in a more quiet location compared with portoroz - Izola etc.... What a great choice! Firstly, the hotel is beautiful renovated and looks like a new place. All is well and feels new - from the Restaurant, Lobby and the Rooms! (and awesome Salt chambers..) We chose a double room with balcony, which in those hot days were great for the early mornings or later evenings! (plus a big help in drying beach towels and clothes!) The room was nice, safe and mini bar fridge all available. Good shower - and for outdoor 38 degrees heat a perfectly working Air Con!! That's a real bonus! The Food (Breakfast was an enough wide selection) and the Dinner (mixed à la carte & sushi) must be stated was amazingly nice cooked, real top quality chef! if you like to dine out or eat in the evenings out just a 10-minute walk is the Ancaran Townsquare with a handful of nice Bars, Italian, Local Speciality Restaurant and so on. ＞All one needs! But the best ist still straight down from the hotel, the small bar on the beach! - So! - most over all I like to mention the feeling being a few days away from home in this place made us really relaxed and the best of the hotel is the people who work there!! - from the welcome reception team to the bar & restaurant staff and the housekeepers - all were at every time friendly and engaged! Overall, the Owner or Manager of this Hotel should be happy to have exactly this team working there now! They are awesome people with a good sense of hospitality! I would try to keep them! From the hotel you can walk in 3-5 minutes to a nice calm, quiet beach with another nice Restaurant and Bar (directly overlooking the Bay of Ancaran, Koper and so on) which was a lovely scenery!). The water was crystal clean and perfect temperature, and each time coming back to the hotel felt simply nice. Having travelled over 100s of times and stayed in 2-5 star hotels all over - this is definitely a place to go back. You just have to know what you are looking for and what kind of entertainment one wants. If you choose wisely, and you look for a bit more quiet place and not overloaded with people - and good drinks, food etc... than this is your destination! Thank you Team Ortus for the great stay.
