Hotel in zona Riem Market, Monaco di Baviera

We spent a weekend there in June 2023, Friday through Sunday. Location: right next to a shopping mall (Riem Arcaden) with supermarkets and food places among many others. Parking: shared parking with shopping mall, designated elevator to the hotel lobby. Parking fee 20 to 25 euros per night. Overall impression: clean, light, modern. Check in and check out: fast and polite. Room: average size, very clean, small bathroom. We paid 75 euros per night per room (two people) and for this rate everything was as good as or even better than expected. One issue: no door bolt / security latch! In total we give four and a half stars for the hotel. We would have given five stars if there had been a door bolt and some smiles from the front desk staff as we walked by. Restaurant: Evening service one star / breakfast service four stars. We wanted to have dinner at the restaurant. My son ordered a Schnitzel which was half the size it used to be before covid (we used to stay at this hotel 3 times a year up until 2020). He was still hungry afterwards. The Schnitzel cost 28 euros. I am coeliac and often encounter problems finding food in German restaurants. I spoke to a very friendly waiter about it who was trying to be helpful but failed miserably (not his fault). He had no idea what gluten-free meant and he wasn't fluent in German nor English. He went to the kitchen and came back with some information. Not good enough. Went back to the kitchen and came back with some more information. Still not entirely helpful. There was a side order of vegetables on the menue with a dish. I asked if I could just get a side order of plain vegetables. No, I couldn't. It was not a matter of pricing, the waiter just didn't understand what I wanted from him and kept running back to the kitchen to ask but there didn't seem anybody available to deal with my request. I decided not to eat and ordered just a small non-alcoholic wine. Got a large one instead (was only charged for a small one but they couldn't get this right either). To summarize: my son and I were the only people in the restaurant. One might wonder why. We tried to order four items in total: Schnitzel, coke, side order of veggies, non-alcoholic wine. They failed on two out of four. The restaurant really deserves zero stars from us, however, we feel one star should go to the waiter who really tried hard and remained friendly throughout! Breakfast service started out just as bad. Upon check in I had asked if they offered gluten-free options and I was told it would not be a problem. First, however, it was. The first check in lady (younger) I spoke to was in training but didn't get help from somebody experienced. She just pointed me to the two gluten-free items offered in the buffet area but couldn't not answer my questions as to whether any bread could be warmed up for me in the kitchen. Abbiamo prenotato una stanza di famiglia, e come famiglia con due bambini, abbiamo messo due camere. La pulizia lasciava molto da desiderare in una stanza, anche dopo la reclamo e il lavoro, era solo un po' meglio. Anche la finestra non è stata aperta. Anche noi abbiamo annunciato questo. Ma l'errore non è stato corretto per il soggiorno. Nemmeno dopo più richieste. La colazione è davvero facile per il prezzo. Mi aspetto almeno un pranzo di salsa bianca a Monaco. La situazione era eccellente, ma ci sono molti altri hotel in prossimità, quindi non lo prenoterei ancora.

La stanza è molto pulita, la posizione di shopping quotidiano e il metro di carico sono molto conveniente, ma è leggermente lontano dal centro della città, le strutture sono molto complete, l'atteggiamento di servizio della sorella della ricetta è molto buono. La stanza ha una macchina da caffè, la sala ha sempre avuto frutta gratuita, molto buono, rapporto costo-beneficio!

Per la chiusura dell'oktobwrfest sono stato a Monaco di baviera ed ho preso alloggio presso l'hotel Bentõ. La struttura è di nuova generazione , gli arredi moderni e le stanze ampie. La pulizia delle camere è impeccabile mentre il personale della reception è sufficientemente educato. La colazione, seppur non inclusa nel prezzo della camera è classicamente continentale con derrate fresche e variegate. L'unica nota dolente riguarda proprio la reception dove il personale non mastica per nulla l'italiano (cosa strana visto che gli ospiti prevalenti erano italiani).... Consiglio quest'hotel per poter visitare Manaco malgrado sia decisamente lontano dal centro ma servito dalla metropolitana leggera .....

This is a really nice hotel, near the Munich Messe, but quite a way out of the central area of the city. No restaurants near the hotel, so dinner in the hotel is recommendable, except for the Friday Night buffet, which is overpriced and not as nice as menu ordered foods in other nights. There are restaurants in the Arcaden, Mall. But I don;t know if they are open at night. The hotel and staff are very nice though.

When we turned up at the hotel at no fault of the hotel the holiday company we used did not change the dates of our hotel (from 26-29th to 27-30th) in line with our flights. This was quickly sorted by signing a form to confirm that this was the case. Then on our last night I was in the room by myself when a man that had just checked in had let himself into the room, he soon realised and walked straight back out. Shortly after I had a receptionist named Mustafa I have been told barge into the room demanding that I pack and leave right away as I should not be there. He threatened to ring the police if I did not leave right away. He did not want to listen to a word I said when I tried to explain to him the situation that I thought could have been the mix up, I rang my boyfriend to come straight up to the room. The tone and manner of this staff member was completely unacceptable. As soon as my boyfriend arrived his manner changed completely and became very polite. My partner went down to reception to try and sort things out to which he got shown the form we filled in on arrival with it forged, the date had been crossed out and edited which I’m assuming is to try and cover up the fact they were in the wrong. Never experienced anything like this anywhere I have travelled before. Definitely did not feel safe by myself as a woman. So disappointed after such a lovely holiday this completely changed the tone and ruined it 😢

Hotel che dista 11km dal centro hotel bello camere ok,colazione top dolce e salato buffet vario e molto fornito,hotel pulito personale efficiente, è un po distante dal centro ma ci si arriva facilmente, l'hotel è in zona tranquilla e silenziosa,

Abbiamo soggiornato nell'Hotel una sola notte. La camera accogliente con un comodo tavolino per un eventuale pausa di lavoro. Manca però un piccolo armadio per vestiti. Bagno con ampia doccia. Camera e bagno pulitissimi. La porta scorrevole del bagno, quando aperta, chiude una rientranza del muro in cui è riposto un'asse da stiro, ferro da stiro e phon. Proprio in questa rientranza ho dimenticato un paio di scarpe da ginnastica, dimenticanza segnalata alla reception la sera stessa del giorno di partenza. Nonostante le varie telefonate della mattina successiva le scarpe non sono state ritrovate! In quell'albergo sarei ritornata altre volte perché mia figlia abita nel palazzo accanto. A causa di questo episodio, per me gravissimo, non ci tornerò mai più. Ci sono altri alberghi nelle vicinanze il cui personale spero sia più onesto.

The booking was made from Trip.com but the reply from hotel was slow. It took more than 10 days to change name of guest that was after many emails, many calls and also many trip.com chat support. ... . Hotel response was quicker than trip.com support which was surprising. For hotel: For the location its good as its near to the 3 groceries store such as netto- and bus stop is just in front of hotel. overall hotel staffs was good but need to improve the email support. same for trip.com, as trip support was less in compare to hotel itself. They try but I think trip.com need to improve.

Easy access to the subway, staff was incredibly friendly, parking was a bit difficult to spot from the outside but was easy to access once we got the instructions (probably should indicate on the website so customers do not have to get out of their car and go inside to ask), rooms are smaller than you think but nothing to complain about. Really chill and chic hotel. Only a couple of mins to get to the city center. Prime location!
