Hotel vicini a Chao Mae Song Nang Phi Nong Shrine a Mukdahan

Siamo stati qui per 1 notte in transito durante i nostri viaggi a Isan. Ci siamo rallegrati della comodità del luogo vicino alla città di Mukdahan. È un moderno hotel a catena che è stato completamente prenotato e abbiamo avuto la fortuna di ottenere la stanza. Il letto era comodo e la doccia aveva un'acqua calda accettabile, ma il cone d'aria era un po' di ricco per regolare le impostazioni per creare il flusso d'aria più comodo. Tuttavia, alla fine abbiamo trovato la temperatura giusta per la stanza per permettere una comoda notte di dormire. Per 750thb per un soggiorno di 1 notte senza colazione, abbiamo trovato questo posto per ”riempire il conto” rispetto alle esigenze dell'hotel per un soggiorno di una notte nella zona.

La franchising hotel Hopp Inns è piuttosto nuova e si trova in molte città provinciali. Sono attrezzati per il viaggiatore di breve termine che richiede solo una base, nessuna spazi a dormire in quella è pulita, efficiente e sicura. Le camere sono piccole e di base, ma con un buon AC, selezione di canali TV (solo Thai), WiFi gratuita e doccia d'acqua calda. Questo hotel è facile da trovare e nella città- non lontano dai negozi o dai ristoranti. L'unica denuncia è la cognata- non profuma fresca.

The hotel itself is very nice and probably the best you can get in Mukdahan - at least as my research showed. The location is awesome: the hotel is directly at the Mekong River, and you have a fantastic view over Laos. Our room had one big window to the river, which was terrific, especially during the morning when the sun rises, and you have some magic when the sun wakes you up, and you have that undisturbed view. Although the hotel appears a bit aged, the room was very nice and clean. I always pay special attention to the bed and the bathroom, and both were without any reason for complaints. The mattress was a bit firm for my taste, but I think that is highly subjective. I had to wait several minutes (!) for hot water in the shower, and the temperature was not stable - so I had to adjust the temperature several times. But apart from that, everything was fine. Breakfast was absolutely ok for the size of the hotel. There was a mix of western and local items - nothing special, but I had my eggs, toast, coffee, and jam, which were perfectly fine for me. As everywhere in Thailand, you also get excellent fresh fruits (watermelon, pineapple, some orange melon - I forgot the name). No cold cut or cheese, which I did not miss, but who expects a fully served continental breakfast should be aware. Now to some quirks: this is the first hotel ever in my travel life that asked for a deposit for the room key cards (in cash). And they gave us just one card for the room, which does mean you cannot run the AC when leaving the room - not the best idea in the humid summer weather. When my wife asked for a second key card, reception denied referring to a limited number of overall key cards available, which was strange. However, when I asked the following day again, I got a second one without problems and without asking for an additional deposit. Further, the restaurant's kitchen closed at 7 pm as everybody was tired from Thai New Year/Songkran - fascinating explanation. Fortunately, we had some street food before and were ok, but what do they do with hungry guests who just want to have dinner? Probably, they have to order food from outside, but 7 pm is still dinner time. But we just wanted to have a glass of wine - unfortunately, bottles only, so we ordered one. The service was more like a hostel, where you could help yourself in the kitchen: the wine was brought to the table, but we had to open the bottle and pour it ourselves. Whenever we wanted to have something (additional Glas, some water, etc.), we had to walk over to the guys who obviously enjoyed theirs after work time. But to be fair, the gentlemen were very nice and friendly and helped us with what we asked for. It was just not the typical bar or restaurant experience you would expect. However, we had nice two hours on the terrace enjoying the full moon and the view over Laos. Overall, I can only recommend this hotel if you stay in Mukdahan. The quirks are precisely that: an unexpected and a bit funny

Nous y avons dormi dans la nuit du 27 au 28 janvier 2020. C'est un grand hôtel qui a eu ses heures de gloire dans le passé à n'en point douter. Nous avons tout de même adoré notre court séjour. Nous avons payé un peu moins de 1000 baht pour notre chambre 9002 avec un balcon et une belle vue sur la montagne. Le wifi était bon et nous avons profité de la piscine propre. Nous étions seuls en plus. Le petit déjeuner inclus était superbe et le service également. Le jeune personnel a été très correct avec nous. La vue du restaurant au 16e étage en vaut le coup sans que nous y ayons mangé toutefois. Notre chambre était confortable. C'est un hôtel qui a grandement besoin de travaux de rénovation sinon, elle passera à l'histoire dans quelques décennies. Un luxe rustique qui a fait notre affaire dans notre cas. Abbiamo avuto un bel soggiorno al Bird Day Boutique Hotel. Grande valore per soldi, molto pulito, incredibilmente comodo letto, e buon parcheggio fuori strada. Facile per raggiungere la maggior parte dei luoghi a Mukdahan. Dritto vicino al Big C. Saremmo sicuramente rimangono se a Mukdahan.

My short stay here was an absolute pleasure, from check-in to check-out and everything in-between ... I took a river view room that was big, quiet, comfortable and had an excellent bathroom and TV. The buffet breakfast is pretty special too and definitely worth considering as part of your reservation. However, the stars of the show remain the historic building itself, as well as the location, as you literally step into the middle of the Indochina Market (see my YouTube) and then cross to the Mekong River. Just magic!

Abbiamo trascorso solo una notte all'hotel e abbiamo ottenuto ciò che ci aspettavamo. Bella grande camera, pulita e abbastanza comoda con bagno adeguato. C'è un caldo nella zona di accoglienza per acqua calda - è conveniente per un caffè / tè mattina. In generale, siamo stati soddisfatti della nostra scelta. Submukda Grand Hotel offre un buon valore per il suo prezzo relativamente basso.
