UUtente ospiteThe hotel is not in the city centre, but that's why we choose it ..... for the tranquility and the quite environment.
The establishment is impeccable, we pay around HK$8xx, and have to admit this is very good value (even considering not much facilities).
The restaurant team are awesome, very attentive, eagar to assist in a warm and welcoming manner. We went for breadfast daily, and from the second day, they remember our breakfast drink!
The spa, much room for improvement...... considering the price, really would not expect ”smelly” bath robe (the price is around 2 to 3 times the price one pay at a spa parlour locally).
During my stay, the hotel is under a planned renovation construction (we were told) - work is going on even over the weekends, that was very unfortunate. Especially we are looking for a quite hotel! I really think they should state at the booking portal and let people know!
The most disappointing part is, the reception team were recommending car service to us (for our return trip to Danang). The original price quote was US$92. We booked.
On the departure day, we were asked to pay, the bill was shown in VND (local currency) and I noticed there are service charge and tax applied. So I ask if the US$92 included the service charge and tax. The reception gentleman was slight agitated and say something like ”every body knows service charge and tax are applied to bills in Vietnam”.
We were then checking the bill and tried to figure out if the US$92 were inclusive of the service charge and tax. While we were doing that, the reception gentleman told us, yes, the US$92 were already including the the service charge and tax. We were a bit itimidated then, and not wanting to further ruin our holiday mood, so we paid and leave.
The car trip was very pleasant and the driver was very polite and attentive.
When we are home, we check the bill again, and find out, we paid around US$112 for the trip. (ie, the originally quote price US$92 is not inclusive of service and tax. More so, the reception gentleman that explained the price to us, was either uncompetent or dishonest!

Велосипеды можно взять совершенно бесплатно в самом отеле. Номер был просто замечательным! Чистый, уютный и красивый. Особенно понравилось раздвижное окно. Администратор была вежливой и отзывчивой, дала свои рекомендации по лучшим ресторанам города. Однозначно рекомендую для путешественников, предпочитающих тихий и расслабленный отдых вдали от туристической суеты

JJenPI was treated like royalty from the moment I arrived for my 4 night stay. Requested a much earlier check in with no problem & no extra cost. Was offered a free upgrade to an incredible much larger apartment with a balcony overlooking the lagoon. Very comfortable bed & pillows.
The housekeeping staff cleaned every day & left fresh water & fruit. The breakfast selection is huge with an 'egg station' to have your eggs cooked just how you like. I ordered dinner to my room in the evening & the food & service was impeccable. The free Yoga & Tai Chi Classes are an extra bonus & I got the chance to kayak on the Lagoon for 2 hours which is also free. If I needed help with anything I just had to message & was replied to immediately. I also requested a later check out & that was done with no problem. The staff here are absolutely wonderful, if only all hotel staff were like this!
The only flaw at the Resort is the Bird Room. I didn't know birds would be in cages & unable to fly properly. This was upsetting & I can imagine may put some people off from booking. It doesn't make sense to cage birds when you are surrounded by them at the Resort. Apart from that aspect I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay & thank everyone who made it such a memorable experience.

UUtente ospiteHaving stayed at a Banyan Tree resort in the past, I had high expectations of this resort and I have to say, it did not disappoint me in one bit. Firstly, I have to mention the exceptional service. There is not a single thing the staff are not prepared to do in order to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Being a Muslim traveller, we had some concerns regarding the halal aspect of the menu. But I'm glad to say that the chefs understood the requirements and accommodated us flawlessly. We stayed in the pool beach villa for my daughter's 27th birthday, we booked two side by side. The villa itself was sensational. Getting up in the morning, walking on your own patio to your private pool, a stone throw away from the sandy beach, it's literally heaven on earth. Again, I will go back to the service levels because this is what truly makes Banyan Tree the special brand that it is. Thank you so much for your hospitality and your caring. Special mention to Nhi, Hung and Tan for making it extra special.
The only downside is that it's slightly off the beaten track. A night out in Danang is a 2 hour round trip. But we spent the first 5 days of our holiday doing all the exploring and Banyan Tree Lang Co was the perfect wind down before heading home.
I highly recommend anyone looking for a luxury escape in Vietnam, pick this place!

SSéverine SCHAEFFERExcellente homestay un peu vintage et charmante en bord de mer. La propriétaire est très sympathique et parle anglais. Elle est de bon conseil pour indiquer les restaurants ouverts dans la zone. La chambre est grande, haute de plafond, et très propre, on y respire très bien un air pur venu du large. On vit ici une vie de village sur une jolie plage et un très bel estuaire. On devine que la houle cyclonique a fait de gros dégâts et les restaurants du bord de mer ont souffert. Celui que nous avons choisi propose des fruits de mer frais du vivier, excellent ! Ne ratez pas non plus le café au bord de l’estuaire tenu par un couple sympathique. Venir ici et soutenir ces villageois très chaleureux qui vous saluent dans la rue, c’est s’engager pour un tourisme communautaire intelligent.

UUtente ospiteLa villa che abbiamo soggiornato era assolutamente meravigliosa. Ci siamo divertiti tanto nella bella e spaziosa villa. Il personale era incredibilmente amichevole e ci ha dato un caldo benvenuto. Lo consigliamo molto agli altri viaggiatori e speriamo di tornare un giorno!

UUtente ospiteSi tratta di un hotel a conduzione familiare in una buona posizione, dietro una strada commerciale nel centro della città. Nelle vicinanze ci sono molti piccoli ristoranti, nonché un mercato agricolo e un piccolo supermercato. Dista solo 2 chilometri a piedi dalla Città Imperiale e 1,6 chilometri dalla stazione ferroviaria di Hue. Abbiamo soggiornato per tre notti. Le strutture della camera sono relativamente vecchie e la porta non può essere aperta con una chiave, ma il soggiorno è stato ok. La camera non è piccola e il balcone è il punto forte. C'è un ascensore ed è pulito. Lo svantaggio è che non c'è un bollitore elettrico e non viene fornita acqua in bottiglia. Se vuoi preparare il tè in camera, puoi chiedere una borsa dell'acqua calda alla reception. Puoi anche bere il tè nella hall al piano di sotto non so se c'è un addebito. Hue è una piccola città, quindi un hotel come questo è abbastanza buono.

UUtente ospiteWe love this place. We had a beautiful spacious wooden cabin with a balcony overlooking the Pearl River. Phi, the manager looked after us splendidly and could not have done more. We locked ourselves out, he came up in his buggy, we forgot something, he came up in his buggy; he had a cooked sliced steak take-away breakfast with dragon fruit ready at 6.45am and a taxi. Thank you Phi and team! We come back one April to see the tombs and pagodas we missed.
