Hotel con vista sulle montagne a Ella

We had a wonderful stay at Greenland Villa. It is perfectly located right next to the Kithal Ella train station, from which you can directly board the famous train that goes through the nine arch bridge. The property was beautiful, very well equipped with everything we needed including a great kitchen. It was clean, well ventilated, and more importantly it felt like home. The owner took time to decorate it with great taste. On top of that he was such a humble and polite person.Upon arrival he gave us a ride to get our groceries; another day he brought us his homegrown vegetables, which was such a nice gesture. Having said that, there were a couple of issues that needed to be addressed. The WiFi connection was not great, probably because of the location, but we struggled with it. And the breakfast was very carb-heavy, which may work for you but wasn't particularly to our liking. Nonetheless, We would book it again if I ever come back to Ella. We can only recommend Greenland villa highly.

It’s a little high up on a hill, but the view from my balcony was gorgeous. It’s also right off the main street, so if you don’t mind the trek up and down you’re still relatively well-situated to be near the backpackers’ bars and restaurants and shops. Breakfast had a lot of local Sri Lankan options which I greatly appreciated, and staff was also happy to explain each dish to newcomers. A small piece of advice for the team though: perhaps hire a few female staffers? As a woman traveling alone, one of the first things I noticed was the all-male staff—or at least, I didn’t see a single woman working there in my 2-night stay. I don’t have a problem with it, but newer solo female travelers might unintentionally be scared off

Sinceramente, se non avessi trovato questo hotel, potrei rinunciare all'Ela.Perche'e' troppo popolare per vivere.E'stato dimostrato che non c'era alcun errore!L'estetica dell'hotel è fantastica, anche se non grande, ma molto delicata ovunque, e il balcone è sorpreso! Completamente in linea con il paesaggio di rifugio nel mio cuore!La piscina è particolarmente bella, e la rete può essere coperta! Non può guidare, devi cambiare l'arrivo con un'auto improvvisa, e contattare l'hotel in anticipo.

Siamo arrivati stanchi e non in spirito, ma siamo stati così spiritualmente incontrati che l'umore è salito all'improvviso. I host avevano il tè, comunicato a casa – non si sentono un cliente, ma un ospite benvenuto. Hotel in cima alla montagna, e da ogni camera – uscire alla terrazza con una vista stupenda. La mattina si sveglia – e si dispone solo di montagne e silenzio. La camera è pulita, comoda, tutto si pensa fino a piccole cose. Il colazione è stato preparato specialmente per le nostre preferenze: frutta fresca, uova, tostature, anche muzzi! Se non vuoi solo stare per la notte, ma sentire la cura e riposare con l'anima – Questo è esattamente il tuo posto. Voglio tornare e consigliare a tutti. Grazie mille agli ospiti per questa atmosfera!

Dowa Elegance Resort is a peaceful retreat surrounded by beautiful nature. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is very kind and attentive, and the atmosphere is perfect for relaxation. A great place to enjoy the beauty of Sri Lanka with warm hospitality.

Questa volta ho vissuto il miglior hotel a Sri Lanka, vale più di cinque stelle. Abbiamo prenotato un grande letto di sotto e due piccole letti di sopra.La finestra elettrica è quasi un pannello panoramico e balcone, che può essere visto fuori.Puoi anche vedere tre ponti e tre strade attraverso il treno. Il minibar ha dato decine di pacchetti, tutti gratis, e quattro cucchiai di acqua anche gratis, vino e bevande. La piscina è molto bella e molto estremamente scintillante, come una piscina senza lato. This guest house is located right in the middle of the forrest. Really cute and the hotel staff is so kind. She is very sweet and super helpful. The only problem is the entrance is a long stairs steps and if you have huge luggage. It will be really hard to carry. The room is cozy but the bathroom has no amenities so please bring your own shower gel and shampoo.
