In this thousand-year-old ancient town, there is a healing hotel whose soul lies in the five notes of the musical scale, which are used as flowing medicine to soothe every weary heart amidst the interplay of light and greenery.
In the lobby, the sound of the ancient qin wafted from behind, akin to the gentle flow of water through a crevice in a mountain stream, while the gong on the display shelf produced a clear and melodious tune. The bubbling sound of the teapot in the tea room perfectly soothed the agitation, while the gentle clash of leaves as the wind blew through the trees eased the tension in one's mind.
During the day, you can go to the sound therapy room to lie down and listen to the specially designed gong sounds penetrating your body, like an invisible pair of hands gently massaging the tense nerves; or you can learn to play the shakuhachi under the guidance of a teacher, watching as the breath flows within the tube, expelling pent-up emotions with each exhalation. As the dusk deepens, you can sit on a cushion on the terrace, listening to the gentle rustling of the evening breeze, the lingering sounds winding around the eaves, harmonizing with the distant chirping of insects, even causing your breathing to slow by half a beat.
When you awaken in the dead of night, opening the window will let the evening breeze carry the melodious sound of bamboo into your room, as if nature is softly reciting verses in your ear, coaxing you back into a dream.
Here, sound serves as the best healer; there's no need to deliberately seek tranquility; simply let the five notes flow through your ears and into your heart, and those indescribable feelings of exhaustion and tangled worries will gradually settle and dissipate as the tones of gong, The voice serves as a healer. After the song ended, I felt a sense of relief.
"Absolutely lovely experience. We booked two rooms for our family. Upon check-in, one room got upgraded so we could have two rooms side by side. Our little one loved the play area, the pool, and the two kittens in the hotel’s yard. I loved the peacefulness and all the thoughtful design details of the hotel. We only stayed for one night and did not get to try their breakfast because it starts a bit late (8:30am). If we ever come back, we would for sure stay again."
