Friendly couple helped us out. Good cooking facilities in big one bedrooms apartment style room. Reasonable continental breakfast that must be ordered by 5:30 pm day before; filled us up!

接待的老爺爺接待的我們，非常仔細的介紹了各種設施操作，房間非常寬敞，淋浴也很好。訂了兩間房，門對門，感覺非常好。離吃飯的地方，超市都不遠

整體非常不錯，老闆很勤快，酒店很乾凈.

We have stayed at Avalon 3 times in the past 10days whilst tramping in Kahurangi National Park. Would highly recommend staying here! The rooms were very clean and tidy with amazing views from the upstairs units with Tuis flying around. The family unit was perfect for our group with everything we needed. Kathleen and Chris are wonderful friendly people who went out of their way to help us smelly trampers! We will definitely be back when back in Tasman.

Simple and friendly check-in. Well appointed and clean room. Had all the amenities plus more needed for our stay. Shower was spacious with great water pressure (always a must for a high rating). Love the fact they give you some milk for your morning tea or coffee. Great place to stay in Motueka. Too bad we could only stay 1 night!!!!

Asked for a ground floor spa unit, and it was great. The rear view was of a huge field and the mountains, and from the front you could see the garden BBQ area. The kitchen was well appointed and included a little breakfast bar. In the lounge area there was a good size sofa that every guest immediately said was super comfortable. The spa was a great size and although it was a shower over bath situation, there was enough flat area to be able to stand without slipping.

Unit was very clean and comfortable. Friendly host greeted us. Great location near the national park. Kitchenette was well supplied with toaster, kettle, microwave etc. Great supply of bathroom and kitchen items (soap, tea, coffee etc). Definitely recommend.

We booked direct and were confirmed with the motel well ahead of time in July 2021 for a two bedroom unit for 3 persons for a one night stay in January 2022. On arrival, the owner told us she had made a mistake and our 2 bedroom unit was now occupied and we were given a one bedroom unit. Sleeping arrangement was one bed in the lounge and one double bed in the bedroom. As it was a one night stay, we reluctantly stayed, without any concession from the owner in the form of an apology. So take heed that your requested booked accommodation may not be what you get. It was a hot night during our stay, and there is no air conditioning. One portable fan was provided in the bedroom, and no cooling for the lounge. Hence, a very restless night. Location was convenient, easy walking distance to restaurants and supermarket. We paid $225NZ for our stay.
