Quality Inn Morris I-80

I had a confirmed reservation for Friday and Saturday, May 17 and May 18, for an accessible bathroom and a king bed. When we checked in we were given an unaccessible room with 2 queens, When I called the front desk from that room I was informed that even though I had a confirmation they had given my accessible room with the king bed to someone else. They offered me a room with a king bed without the accessible bathroom or I could go over to their neighboring affiliated hotel for the accessible bathroom but with only 1 queen bed. I chose to make do with what I had but I was very unhappy. The wi-fi was abysmal also!

Check the date of this review! As of my stay on 04.18.24, this hotel has not yet completed some major renovations. The following issues I had may be fixed after the renovations are complete. The internet wifi connection in the room was spotty to non-existent. The helpful lady at the desk could only suggest I move to a different room which I did after realizing I would get no work done. The new room was just down the hall. Even there the wifi was spotty and slow. The shower did not drain and the toilet required several flushes to empty. The continental breakfast was not what I expect from a Quality Inn. It was in a small cramped area and the selections were more like you'd find at a Super 8. I am hopeful they will work out these kinks once the renovation is complete.

It’s unfortunate this facility refuses to respond to my emails. I started at this facility on Dec 2 when i came into the room i noticed ants in the sink. I washed them down and didn’t think anymore about it. Later on i came back to the bathroom and it was so many ants it was unbelievable. I usually stayed at this facility for our Christmas party never again.

The beds were soft and the air conditioning worked. They did have a pool. The hot tub is gone; the pool is cold. We walked into an unflushed toilet and the room was dirty. The pipes made a high pitched wailing noise. Many broken things in a single room: lamp, doorknob, lampshades, etc

When driving across the country with my dog, I’m generally not too picky about where I rest my head for a few hours. I’d previously stayed at the holiday inn next door which was amazingly clean and quiet, but when it was twice the cost of this quality inn, I figured I’d give this hotel a shot. Never again! The bar in the front of the building was super loud. I could not get into my first room as the card reader was broken - and based on the door frame near the handle, the room had been broken into before. When I got into a second room, there was film in the toilet water, a stain on the toilet seat, the bathroom vent was completely clogged with dust, there was mold and rust all over the bathroom, human hair on the bathroom counter and in one of the beds, and French fries on the floor. I wouldn’t stay there again if you paid me - let alone if I paid $95. Spring for the holiday inn next door.
