Belmar

Beautiful property and very helpful staff. The food at the brewery and the juice bar were delicious. We did the Nightfall tour and it was truly a once in a lifetime experience. Walter was an amazing guide. Our kids loved seeing monkeys and birds from the restaurant balcony in the morning. The only negative was that the only rooms that can accommodate a family are located directly under the bar/restaurant making it difficult to sleep at night. Not a deal breaker, but we would have preferred a different location. If we are ever in Monteverde we will definitely stay at the Hotel Belmar again.

We had the most amazing stay. From the first night, we got there around 9pm greeted with a warm towel and tea. Staff was so accommodating. Food was amazing. Came for the Farm to Table experience and it blew us away. The rooms were stunning. Open air and beds were so comfy. We have nothing but great things to say about out stay

- Really cool property built into a hill. I’d highly recommend if you want to splurge a little. - We stayed in the Nicoya suite and it was amazing. Views from the balcony were spectacular. It’s at the top of the hill so you have to walk up stairs to get to and from your room. But the balcony jacuzzi, swing chair/bed and views were worth it. - Hotel restaurant is really good. They have their own gardens and farm so lots of farm to table food. - Free yoga in the morning was pretty easy, which we appreciated. Juice bar on site. Massages were cheaper than other places but they don’t have a full spa. There is a ~20 min self guided hike thru their property that goes down to the river with a little waterfall. Brewery on site had a good view but the service was super slow. - We saw monkeys, coati, an armadillo, and lots of birds while on property. We loved our stay at Hotel Belmar and hope to come back in the future.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Friendly staff and a very relaxing stay. Beautiful views from the room and the restaurant. Delicious food! Wood floors give an old world vibe that is definitely appealing. Will definitely return!

This was legitimately the best hotel stay I have ever had! The bed was the most comfortable, the pillows were perfect, the patio was a perfect size. The in room coffee was delicious. The staff was excellent and very friendly. The grounds, including photos from our patio and self guided tour, were amazing. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.
