Hotel in zona Lakeview Library, Mississauga

We stayed in this hotel for two nights with a group of colleagues on business trip. It was not too far from downtown and we managed to get to our conference within 45 minutes with a taxi even with Toronto’s week day traffic. The rooms were clean and staff were friendly and welcoming. The only trouble was slow breakfast service. We were down at 6:00 am for breakfast (weekdays ) but had to wait so long to be served. There is a small gym at this facility and staff were nice enough to open it for us at 5:00 am. Overall we had a comfortable stay at this hotel.

Stayed for one night before my flight. Good location, close to the airport and lots of restaurants within a reasonable walking distance. Rooms are well equipped, although the air conditioning was a disappointment. There is a control on the wall, which is misleading because the air conditioner is a separate unit. However, the air conditioner shuts off when the area near it reaches the temperature setting, while the room will be warmer. Setting the air conditioner at the coldest setting created a reasonable temperature but I would be concerned on a very hot day. I found the service to be generally polite, although not always helpful in accommodating requests. I asked for a quiet room with a bathtub. While I got the bathtub, the room faced the road, which was noisy at times. I had called the hotel a few days in advance so it should not have been an issue to accommodate both requests. I arranged the shuttle to the airport the day before required, but when inquiring about it, to make sure I didn't miss it, one of the front desk attendants (white woman with a Slavic name if I remember correctly) was quite rude. Apparently she doesn't understand the worry about getting to the airport on time since the shuttle only runs every 40 minutes so it would be an issue to miss it. The common facilities are good. The lobby lounge and breakfast area are nice and there is a beautiful courtyard in the centre of the hotel. The pool area was nice and there is a sauna, although note that it is on a timer so you need to get there early to let it warm up. The pool and sauna close at 10pm, which I thought was early as an 11pm closing would be helpful. The menu of the restaurant looked good, prices reasonable and a decent selection of beer for discerning drinkers. Breakfast was good but for the price, they should provide some vegetables for a salad. Overall, a reasonable stay and I would give the hotel another opportunity. I would pass on the breakfast though next time, provided there is time in the morning, as there is a Denny's nearby

L'hotel è datato ... grande affare. Il tappeto della strada è inchiostro e filato. Quindi cosa? Il lobby è piccolo e non presume ... qualunque cosa. La nostra camera era piccola ma pulita, il letto era comodo, e il bagno di base e funzionale. In effetti, l'unità di riscaldamento/raffreddamento datata si è ribaltata come un modello T e l'ascensore era fuori ordine quando siamo arrivati ... ma il personale MORE che si è riparato per le carenze dell'edificio. Abbiamo ricevuto un trattamento rispettoso, sorriso amichevole, servizio cortese e consapevole e pochi tocchi sopra e oltre. Anche il nostro pilota di navetta aeroportuale è stato fantastico! Grazie per aver andato il miglio extra per i vostri clienti di ParkSleepFly esaurito tardi di notte. La prossima volta che passiamo la notte vicino a Pearson, torneremo a casa.

La stanza è pulita e le tole sono bianche fluffy. Ci siamo addormentati bene. Avevamo una stanza re e il bagno è grande e confortevole. Avevamo un frigo senza ghiaccio. La sala di ricezione dell'hotel ha lenzuola di legno, la sala di matrimonio è bella. Abbiamo promosso la carta di dono di visto e una carta di dono di Piazza a Mississagua, e'divertente andare al grande bellissimo centro commerciale.

We took an early flight so booked this hotel to avoid traffic. Free shuttle runs with schedule, you must reserve the spots before riding in order to secure the seats (especially during midnight)

On April 23rd, 2022, my partner and I arrived at the Holiday Inn – Mississauga/Toronto West – 100 Brittania Rd East. We came to the hotel at 1pm for early check in thinking that the pool was open (as per the call agent who took my reservation), only to find out that the pool was not open, and it was “closed for maintenance”. This was not disclosed earlier when I booked the reservation, there was no mention of the pool being closed. I was very excited to use the pool as it was my birthday weekend, and it was my plan to use this amenity as soon as I arrived. I asked for them to amend the reservation to a cheaper price, however they said that the reservation had already been amended to include the new price (without a functioning pool). Regardless, my partner and I arrived to our room (Room 211) and after using the toilet, we find out that the toilet does not work. I called the front desk to notify them of this, and we agreed to switch rooms. We received a new room (Room 212), directly across from our previous room, and to no surprise, this toilet did not work either. The entire ordeal was discussed with the front desk and I asked if we should move hotels as they did not have any functioning toilets. The front desk clerk stated that “this was very unusual” and that they will have someone come look at it right away. While the custodian was fixing the toilet in the new room (Room 212), my partner had realized that he left his vape pen in the first room (211). He asked the housekeeper if he could go into the room to retrieve it, the lady said they did not find anything in the room we just left (this all happened within 30 minutes of leaving the first room). Altogether, the toilet was poorly fixed, as the same issue kept happening all night in room 212. Later on that night, we were told that the 2nd floor had recently been renovated, as there were pencil marks still on the walls. Futhermore, around 3pm that day, I decided to take a shower. As I got out of the shower, I dried myself with a towel, only to find it was stained with someone else’s makeup (what looked like eyeliner from both eyes). *See pictures below* It was clear that the towel was not cleaned and bleached properly as the make up had been stained onto the white towel (GROSS). We decided there was no point of addressing this with the front desk (as the lady was also disgruntled over the phone) and we just decided to go on with the night and make a mental note to never come back to the holiday Inn EVER AGAIN! But wait… IT GETS BETTER!!! On Sunday, April 24th, the next morning, as we were cleaning up to check out of the hotel, we went to check on our friends in various other rooms. At approximately 10:50am, my friends and I were all in the elevator going to meet up in my room (Room 212) only to find out that our key cards were no longer working. In generale, abbiamo prenotato due camere, uno senza cortina di bagno, l'altro era già occupato e ci hanno dovuto cambiare. La colazione lo servivano in borsa, biscotti, acqua, un pane, (forse per misure sanitarie o igiene a causa di Covid) avevamo molto senza ospitare in un hotel, che la verità se ci ha preso per sorpresa questo modo di offrire la colazione. Veniamo due famiglie, stanche del viaggio e con piccoli dettagli come questi, uno vede molto male tutto. Non so se tornasse, il personale amabile dentro di quello che è giusto e le camere sembravano pulite.

Anche se era in costruzione, la stanza in cui ero rimasto era assolutamente bella. Certamente una delle migliori stanza che ho prenotato e resterà qui in un futuro prossimo. Buon cliente.

The location is a little bit far away from any attractions, the second night we didn't have any hot water, and waited from 7 pm -10 pm. During the time, we called front desk, but they only said they would check the maintenance, then hang out, never call us back. Our families were disappointed with their service
