Good service and environment. The Mandara Spa is very disappointing and expensive. The massage lady is friendly but she seems not familiar with her job with mediocre skills and did not take care of the details. It’s not worth the money and will never try again!

Very nice and comfy resort hotel! We are welcomed by the bell boy helping us with the luggage with big smiles and greetings. The front desk politely ask for us to rest at lobby or can go for nearby shopping while we were waiting for the room to be ready ( we were early). They gives us plenty of drinking waters to make sure we stay hydrated! Swimming pool is big and nice ( they have several baby pool, and a big pool with various depths). It was nice as they also provide us complementary dinner for 2 ( our booking comes with breakfast for 3 adults, kiddo is additional RM30). I would like to complement the restaurant staff - Rita who has given us the utmost great hospitality and flexibility as we request to pack food to go instead of dinning in ( dinner). Overall I am impressed by this 5- star hospitality of Marriott. They never let me down with their superb services.

Our booking was messed up and the front desk staff was unaware of 2 bookings made under the same reference and blamed Trip.com on the issue, which very irresponsible. However, the staff able to address our problem within an hour. The rooms provided quite poorly maintained with a lot of mosquitoes stained and blood on the curtain, fabric bench and table. One of our bathroom was clogged and has to prolong our shower time to avoid flooding the batchroom area. We also experienced power disruption during our stay. The phone lever has a foul odor and was not properly sanitized. The food served was basic and not to 5 star level. The taste too, just like dining at normal shoplot cafe. The refillable shower gel was not refill above half level of the bottle and difficult to pump out. Pverall the staff were not attentive to details and took for granted on the hygiene and convenience of the guest. If not because of the pool which my kids wosh for, we will not moe to this hotel. It is far below the par for Marriot chain hotel standard.

If you are looking for a quiet place, this hotel is for you.

Overall, the resort was really old and tired looking and lacks a lot of the modern amenities that newer resorts come equipped with. If your room is not located at the main building itself, be prepared to walk quite a fair bit. The resort was not properly maintained, especially the footpaths and landscaping. Staff however was friendly and buffet breakfast was good with many choices. Needs refurbishment asap

My 2nd time stayed here. Very nice room and good environment. Kids love to swim in the swimming pool.

Very good and quiet place to stay. Well maintained even it is old. Surprise there is no lift to change floor.

My second stay here. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you have mobility issues and are not able to do stairs be sure to make a note on the reservation. Not all of the rooms are accessible by a lift.

Very good location, situated right infront of the beach, and in close proximity to Marina which makes it easy to access all the shops and restaurant

Had to check in late during my stay because my room wasn’t done cleaning. Once we got into our room, the floor was not properly clean. I assume it is because most of the worker are in a rush, which make sense because we went there during school holidays. Nevertheless, it is my second time staying at Marriot, I still like their area as they have a big pool just beside the beach. We can relax and have a swim all in one. 😃

Good value for money. Hotel is located by the sea but there is no beach. It is located some distance from the city so eating options in the area is more limited. Swimming pool and Buffet breakfast are excellent. Would be perfect if there were more activities in the resort.

1st time staying at Miri Marriott Resort & Spa as it was a a last minute decision; Stay was a pleasant and comfortable. Bed was comfortable and has all the basic amenities needed for a night stay. However it was a around a 10 - 15 min walk from the lobby since our room was a Garden View. Did not manage to use hotel other facilities; will come back again

Pillows too hard, hard to fall asleep. Air cond leaking at the restaurant but the food is ok. The garden view is nice

Located just beside the beach. Near to the airport. Spacious resort. Highly recommended.
