old swan的位置極好，清晨房間裏就可以聽到鳥鳴。推開窗户就可以看到古老的街道和茅草屋。
漫步在小街上，英國鄉村味道撲面而來。
晚上到的時候就把氛圍也很好，有時間可以喝一杯。
樓梯特別有年代感，二樓的牆壁有點歪，也很有代入感。

We stayed for two nights as we were attending a wedding in the locality. We had a ground floor room that opened up on to the courtyard which was rather lovely. Can relate to other reviews re the damp smell as entering the building but the room itself was fine. It was comfortable and equipped with everything would you need - iron, ironing board, tea, coffee, water, hairdryer etc. The only thing I would say is that the bathroom needed updating - we did have a problem with the flush on the toilet, but we cannot fault the response from the hotel. They were very proactive and turned a possible negative outcome to a positive one. We did have lunch at the pub and can recommend the sharing ploughman's. The hotel is a listed building and parts of it orginated from the 17th Century, so is full of old beams and wonky floors. It is however in a lovely location. We had breakfast across the road at the Minster Mill.

On arrival shown to room around shabby back passage into very dark and smelly room - seems the drains smell coming up through shower or toilet or possible damp. Went to the Resturant and the food was very basic and waitress rude and arrogant. Checked out early and refunded for next night as Birthday weekend ruined. Not very special.

Churchill room at the Old Swan Inn. 1 night Stay. Cons: - The mattress has diverts in it as it was so used (couldn’t move easily, from the dips in the mattress- needs replacing or flipping asap). - The pillows only ‘felt’ like they had a handful of stuffing in them (had to use the decorative pillows to help prop our heads up). - Wall paper was coming away from the walls - WIFI didn’t work for our phones in the evening. Randomly started working from 7am onwards on the day we were leaving. Pros: - Kind staff - Lovely character building - Lovely location - Bathroom was lovely and clean - Somewhat quiet. 2 planes flew low around midnight and 7am (obviously the hotel can’t control that). RAF base nearby - Brize Norton flight path. Was the room worth £185 for room only? - hell no. Not even close. Would we stay there again? Honestly? No. But nice location

Wonderful place, excellent rooms, comfy bed, friendly staff and obviously a great chef as the food was top quality, produce and delivery. Couldn’t fault it.

I have visited this pub several times before and it’s always been lovely. This time we visited for a birthday and had checked out the lunch menu before hand which was the reason for coming here. On arrival we were given the menu which was a dinner menu not a lunch menu. We queried this with two members of staff and both said they did not have a lunch menu. This was extremely disappointing, it said online the menus could change seasonally but not removed altogether. However 3 weeks later a lunch menu is still on the website despite informing staff of this. So we ordered some food…. It took about an hour to arrive. We had one of the nourish boards and half way through eating this we realised it had no babganoush on it. We quickly informed the waitress who said she would go and get this for us only for her to come back and say they had run out. Our birthday lunch turned out to be very disappointing and it seems they are mid leading customers.

Disappointing Visited and stayed two years ago Great atmosphere sat by the fire talking with other guests Staff lovely and attentive This time no fire hardly a guest in site and no atmosphere Staff helpful but a smile would help What happened to this lovely little place, looks and feels un loved !! Has Managment changed? If it has then best be getting them back !!!!!
