Il posto è molto bello, niente da dire, ma l'atteggiamento della proprietaria mi ha rovinato il soggiorno. Andiamo per ordine: la struttura è immersa nel verde, molto suggestiva e lo standard è buono, con camere spaziose e confortevoli. L'accesso dalla zona parcheggio è di poco più di cento metri per un viottolo ghiaioso in salita, non comodo per portare bagagli, ma hanno un servizio con carrello che è sempre disponibile. Il lodge dista circa 20' a piedi dal paese, o pochi munuti con taxi che sono molto convenienti. Sicuramente ci sono posti un pò più facili da raggiungere, ma dipende da cosa uno cerca. Il problema l'ho riscontrato con la pignoleria ottusa della proprietaria e l'attaccamento meschino al dollaro - è da marcare che lei è statunitese di origine e va vista in quell'ottica. I prezzi che applica per i pasti sono esagerati, ma quello che mi ha lasciato amaro in bocca è che non ha voluto fare uno sconto perchè nel giorno di partenza partivo troppo presto per fare colazione e pazienza, il prezzo di pernottamento era con breakfast, ma ha avuto il coraggio di mettermi in conto $2.40 per due fette di pane che avevo chiesto a colazione il giorno prima e nulla è valsa la richiesta di arrotondare il conto di qualche centinaia di dollari di questa cifra. E' una sciocchezza lo so, ma per principio, tale meschinità mi ha fatto pentire di aver scelto questa struttura, rispetto ad altre molto più ospitali.

This lodge was beautiful and everything my husband and I wanted and needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic. Walking the path to the main lodge and to our lodging was so serene and beautiful with so much flora and fauna. Bird-watching from my balcony was my favorite pastime. Highly recommend and we can not wait to visit again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Divina. The property is large and right in the cloud forest so you can enjoy fully immersing into nature. The included breakfast was delicious. The room itself was comfortable with plenty of space and clean. It’s a convenient short walk to the teleférico where you can then easily access the cable car to great hiking trails. We would take taxis into town which were easily available and very cheap. We really enjoyed the attentive service provided by Lady.

Mindo was the highlight of our 2 week visit to Ecuador, and Casa Divina was the perfect place to stay. We thought the property was beautiful, we truly enjoyed the activities that were available, the staff was very helpful & friendly, and the food was always good. Our family of 6 adults spent 2 nights at Casa Divina, occupying 3 of their Deluxe Suites (queen sized beds). The rooms had nice views, and were spacious & equipped with everything we needed. They were a nice balance between comfort and camping. Wi-Fi in the rooms Wawa weak, but that wasn’t much of an issue for us. Onsite we did a night time tour of the property (with Dan) to look for creepy, crawly things, and that great fun. And in the early morning we did a bird watching tour (with Jorge) and that was also fantastic. Walking distance from the property we took chair lifts up the mountain, and that led to a nice hike to see waterfalls. Our rate came with breakfast, and at night we had dinner on the property; we also had lunch there one day. The food was served family style, and we thought it was tasty, healthy and plentiful. I wished we would have stayed in Mindo a bit longer, and I’d easily stay at Casa Divina again.

This place feels like a tropical oasis the minute you enter the property. I’m talking about lush, green, vibrant landscaping surrounding the lodge. You immediately feel like you are in another world, especially if you are coming in from Quito. There is a stream that runs through the property so there is constant white noise, which I loved. And if you wake up early enough, you can hang out at the rooftop and watch all the colorful bird life out and about. It’s a feast for the eyes and ears. The rooms themselves were also equally beautiful. You can tell everything was thoughtfully placed and handcrafted. The rooms had a log cabin meets tropical feel to it. There is an immediate sense of peace that you can feel once you enter the room for the first time. It was much needed change in scenery for my fiancé and I after hectic, but fun, Quito adventures. While everything was beautiful, I think the highlight of this place is the staff. The staff were super attentive and were always available to answer any questions. Shout out to Marta, the cook. I am a huge meat eater, and even I was amazed at the chefs vegetarian dishes. The food served here is local and the quality of the food is amazing, and healthy to boot! Not very easy to do.

What a truly magical place Casa Divina is! From the moment we arrived, we were treated in such a warm and welcoming way that we immediately felt at home. The staff was most attentive and informative. The food was cooked from scratch and most delicious. The cabin was beautiful and the very large bathrooms were an unexpected treat. Staff was always available in the gorgeous main lodge to answer any of our questions and make fabulous recommendations with so much to do. The upstairs loft area proved to be so delightful as we watched many incredible species of birds in an open air but protected setting with our morning coffee. This resort excels in service and beauty and I would highly recommend it to anyone planning a visit to beautiful Mindo in the future.

I forgot to leave a review when we went months ago but had to come back to write something for these lovely folks. I brought my girlfriend here for her birthday and not only was it incredibly beautiful, the staff made it a lovely stay. They brought her out a little birthday surprise when we had our first dinner there, and were ceaselessly attentive. If I could live here, I would in a heartbeat. The food is incredible, the lodge is peaceful, the rooms are clean and amazing, and there is so much attention to detail that leaves you wanting for nothing. Definitely book some of their excursions, and make sure you get up early in the morning to see the birds from the top floor of the lodge.

Simply amazing! The lodges are amazing, with a wonderful view into the cloudforest. Beautiful and very clean rooms. Amazing main house with a observation deck and amazing food. The staff was super friendly. Not one negative thing. If it was possible to give 6 stars i would. Recommend this to everyone who is looking for amazing wildlife expierences or action thrilled adventures. The staff will help you arranging everything, we wanted to go tubing and 10 min later a car picked us up

While the accommodation itself is comfortable, the place is far out of the main village, along a very muddy track, and we didn't get very good vibes from the owner, who did not seem very interested in client satisfaction when adding an extra dollar to the bill for a piece of toast we had asked for at breakfast, even though she knew very well that we had already paid for the next day"s breakfast and were not having it as we had an early start. There are plenty of other good options in Mindo especially if you want to walk to and from the village without using taxis (which are cheap enough, but we like walking). Also, by the way, if you do book here, do it through booking, and not directly through them, as booking will give you your money back if you cancel, whereas they will not. Definitely would not stay here again!
