Le personnel très accueillant très serviable, cependant la vétusté et la propreté de l’hôtel laissent à désirer . Nous avons demandé à changé de chambre le premier soir car la première n’était pas très propre. Le responsable de l’hôtel très aimable, nous a tout de suite trouvé une chambre plus satisfaisante mais pas du standing que j’avais commandé. Dans l’ensemble c’était passable.

Bed and 1/3 towels were clean. There were parts of the floor that were patched together and had a small lip that you could stub your toe walking to the bed. Toilet did not flush and did not see any property management post checkin.

The Mercury Hotel is an old apartment building. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The lobby and hallway downstairs was very nice, clean and lighted. When you get off of the elevator upstairs it is dark and dingy. Our room had a keypad lock with which wouldn’t stay locked a couple times that we left, even after verifying it was locked. The couch in our room was filthy looking. Otherwise the room was nice. Bed was very comfortable. Shower pressure was great and the water was warm. The small refrigerator was perfect for our short stay with a few kitchen items if needed. Very convenient to the beach, restaurants and shopping on Collins.
The hotel could definitely use a remodel on the floors near guest rooms.

The person at the front desk was great but the room we were placed in was terrible. Nothing looked like the photos and we were placed in a room right above the bar unexpectedly. There were tiny ants on the counter, so any food we had needed to be kept high. Flooring had loose pieces. Bathroom sink needs work and they also use Qtip as screws to hold things in place.

Upgraded to nicer room, first one was dated and needs a deep clean and repairs. Walking distance to great restaurants.

Louis at the front desk expressed stellar customer service. The location is great. The hotel conditions could use a slight upgrade but overall it was a great stay. I usually stay in Brickell when in Miami but would stay here again if I’m in the south of fifth area.

You get what you pay for. First night, air conditioning didn’t work. The air conditioning was dripping and leaking from the bathroom ceiling because the “coils were frozen”. Hole in the bathroom ceiling. The TV didn’t work. No channels, no antenna, no apps. The best part of the property are the pool/jacuzzi and location.

We stayed in a studio that could use some updating. We noticed other rooms had been remodeled but ours was not. If you have trouble stepping into a high bathtub this room would not work for you as the shower was in a jet tub. No curtain so water all over the floor. The bed was comfortable as it was a memory foam mattress. Couldn’t figure out the tv’s. Kitchen and living room area were nice and spacious. Windows are thin and we had a cocktail bar under us where we could hear every conversation for people hanging outside on the sidewalk/street. Not quiet! Great communication with the hotel staff. Each door has their own code keypad so it was easy to enter when we arrived after midnight. Good location and could walk to most areas.
