Nice buffet breakfast at 6 am for preparing the Marathon. Very centric. Cozy room to relax after run.

The hotel didn't have a car park as it was advertised in ***********. The triple room didn't have the 3rd bed, and it was small. dirty with very old furniture. The bathroom was not clean, and the expensive breakfast was very basic.

Being a Gold Member, I requested a late check-out and it was backfired as if I requested something very extra ordinary! They didn't accept it. For the welcome drink voucher, you can only use it for fruit juice or water (not even for Coca Cola or beer, I asked and they refused to give me Coke or beer with that voucher). I was told that it was the decision of the Hotel Manager. So, the manager at Ibis Metz can change the rules of Accor as to his/her preference. I also wrote an e-mail about my complaint to Accor Headquarters.

The Apt is a total mess!No customer service at the facility.I never slept there and need my refund!

The room was dusty and did not seem to be cleaned well. Curtains were old and got holes everywhere. Breakfast tables were not cleaned after people used them and it was difficult to find a clean table.

I booked a room a few days in advance on their own website and noticed rooms for 2 or 3 persons were the same price but the rooms for 3 persons were much bigger so booked that one. We parked the car in the underground garage and walked to the hotel (maybe two minutes). Checking was quick and easy. The room was big, the bathroom small. The bed was good. We did not have breakfast at the hotel but it looked okay in passing.

Ja, natürlich, am Eingang steht "Ibis". Ja, die Dame an der Réception empfängt uns freundlich. Ja, die Bettstatt ist ein echtes, feines Ibis-Bett. Ja, das Frühstück entspricht voll den Erwartungen - sogar die lothringische Nationalfrucht, die Mirabelle wird in Konfitürenform vorgesetzt. Nein, der wilhelminische Bau ist voll in die Jahre gekommen und erfordert dringend eine Generalsanierung. Nein, der Lift ist für Klaustrophoben nicht nutzbar. Nein - das französische geflügelte Wort "soignez les détails" gilt hier definitiv nicht. Und nein für Stammkunden: Der "Welcome Drink" gilt pro Zimmer, sagt man uns. Also EINE Cola in zwei Gläsern für 2 Personen. Das ist uns nun wirklich noch nie passiert. Wir dachten, das wäre ein Scherz - NEIN, das war es nicht. Generell scheint die Hotelsituation in Metz nicht einfach, aber die gute Lage dieses Hotels ...

L’hotel clairement a rénover : insonorisation acoustique et thermique au minimum (compliqué en bord d’une avenue et a proximité de la gare). Chambre spartiate avec une literie premier prix tres dure, et du mobilier vieillissant. Je craignais le pire pour le petit dejeuner mais non, c’etait de qualite (tres bonne madeleine maison ou de boulanger, pain tres correct, confiture artisanale…) et le personnel est aimable, bref, il fait ce qu’il peut pour tenir la boutique…

Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel. Les chambres sont petites et vétustes. Par ailleurs, j'ai oublié une trousse de toilette contenant une montre et je ne l'ai jamais reçue par la poste. Pourtant, je l'ai signalé deux jours après mon départ via téléphone et mail. J'ai réalisé plusieurs relances téléphoniques et par mail. On me promet toujours de l'envoyer par la poste, mais après un mois et demi, je n'ai rien reçu.
