Metz: hotel con bar

Quando sono arrivato pioveva a dirotto, quindi ho perso l'hotel la prima volta, quindi secondo il mio Garming ho dovuto guidare altri 1,5 KM per arrivare all'hotel. L'accoglienza piacevole mi ha spiegato come raggiungere il parcheggio con la mia moto. La camera era ok, la colazione era veloce. Non entusiasmante. Una cosa mi ha dato fastidio, alla reception mi hanno dato una cartina stradale di Metz, ma la scala era così piccola che non potevo usarla bene, ovviamente ho fatto il giro più lungo fino alla cattedrale.

We were stranded at the Metz Ville railway station today with our booked accommodation failing to email our accommodation address. By accident I stumbled across the Campanile Hotel, 3 minutes from the station. From the moment I walked in the staff were so helpful, kind and empathetic to our situation. They served us tea, allowed access to their Wifi and sitting area so we could try and resolve our situation. We couldn’t so booked a room- clean, comfortable beds, a lovely fresh room and bathroom; more than adequate for our needs. And a very reasonable price. But the staff were superb! Nothing was too much trouble- they tried to source tours and answered a multitude of questions. Special mention must be made of Fativa- an absolute gem! So kind, so caring and so patient. Her dinner recommendation was fabulous! Campanile Hotel saved our day!

Absolutely stunning hotel modern French design. Location even better. Superb stay with access to pretty much everything you want and desire. Our room was fabulous very good character and the pool very nice. Safe parking for our Motor Car with excellent members of staff to help you throughout. In the morning the breakfast service is again delicious and well supplied. The hotel is very ambient and offers selection and seclusion whilst dining. I really like this. Staff exceptional, very helpful and pleasant. Highly recommended especially for stop overs whilst travelling across a brilliant country.

Il mio piccolo bemol per il signore dell'accoglienza, che era molto simpatico, ma che mi ha chiesto un documento d'identità. Gli ho dato quindi il mio permesso di guida rilasciato dallo Stato e quindi è stato accettato in Francia dal momento in cui La foto sulla stanza è simile alla persona. Fortunatamente mia moglie aveva la sua, altrimenti non ci avrebbe accettati. Dopo aver cercato le sue spiegazioni erano completamente false. Altrimenti il resto è buono

Hotel spettacolare fronte parco. Location ricavata dall'antico edificio militare di metà del 1500. Struttura esterna conservata ma all'interno un insieme di tecnologia e eleganza lo rendono di grande prestigio. Ospite al centro dell'attenzione di chi ha strutturato gli spazi interni e i servizi. Camera con salottino e bagno molto ampi e modernamente arredati con eleganza e ogni comfort. Letti grandi e comodissimi. Condizionamento dell'aria capillare e efficientissimo. Colazione internazionale a buffet con cibo di grande qualità e una scelta veramente vasta. Snello e veloce il check in e out. Parcheggio privato (a pagamento) esterno alla struttura (fronte hotel) con accesso regolato da un dissuasore mobile a garanzia dell'uso esclusivo degli ospiti. Posizione centralissima e comoda per visitare una città molto carina attraversata dalla Mosella

Let’s get the good points out of the way first. The reception staff were lovely and very helpful, the location is great for seeing Metz and it has free parking… I booked this hotel for one night without my usual diligence and research, I got what I deserved! After being directed to the local free parking and negotiating the tight entrance ramps I was less than comfortable with the surroundings. It seemed that the car park wasn’t very secure, litter strewn on level -1 and seemingly used as a toilet. This was reinforced by the stairs to ground level which required the holding of breath, it really was that bad. As above, the welcome from staff was great but on exiting the lift to our room on the first floor (106) there was an unpleasant odour. The room was a decent size, a bit sparse, very warm with one portable fan but the real issue was the carpet. Black stains that looked like ground in dirt or gum and other dubious looking stains in several other places. The bathroom was clean but the rail and attachment to hold the flexi shower head was missing from its mountings. The separate toilet was in a small cupboard just inside the door, again it was clean. The entrance lobby had what looked like long-standing cobwebs above head height, I’m guessing that the spiders are permanent guests. The bed was averagely comfortable and the linen clean. The wall paper appeared damp above the skirting boards and was discoloured. It isn’t the cheapest Metz option and really was presented poorly, there isn’t an excuse in a modern city for low standard accommodation like this.

I was a bit concerned about parking in a public car park for three days but in the event it was trouble free and easy. Hotel also offered a discounted payment which was explained clearly on arrival. Room was good. Pull down sofa for my son was comfortable and shower etc better than adequate. Staff were all friendly and helpful with enough English to help our stuttering French. Breakfast was good for price but on one of the two mornings the coffee machine broke down and caused a lot of issues in a very busy breakfast area. Position was superb, with easy access to Metz sites. Lots of restaurants nearby abd hotel bar was pleasant. Will definitely use again on future cross France journeys.

As a Technical Manager, I would like to share my experience staying at the Mercure Metz hotel during a recent business trip. The hotel not only impressed me with its cleanliness but also stood out for its exceptional service and incredible food options. The combination of these factors made it an excellent choice for my stay in Metz.

Camera all'ultimo piano con vista cattedrale spaziosa e molto accogliente grazie alle travi a vista, al parquet e all'arredamento in generale. Letto comodo e silenzio durante la notte ci hanno permesso di riposare bene. Parcheggio Chatédrale convenzionato a 8.6€ per le 24h. Colazione non piacevole a causa dell'acustica della sala, inoltre l'offera non è delle migliori considerando il prezzo (11€ a persona). Non un problema per noi ma segnalo scale ripide per raggiungere l'ultimo piano.

Abbiamo prenotato una camera doppia con 2 letti, è una camera molto piccola (sì, lo sapevo in anticipo) ma perché ci siamo fermati solo per una notte. Se abbiamo due valigie grandi e dobbiamo svolgere entrambi, dobbiamo trovare le nostre strutture. In ogni caso, in generale, il servizio di colazione è stato buono! Il reception è stato molto gentile e utile. La posizione dell'hotel non è lontana dal centro città, situato in un luogo molto bello per gli habitat vivi, penso. Dico 4.5 / 5 punti.
