Hotel in zona Parque Manuel Cepeda Peraza, Merida

I discovered this little hotel on one of the travel websites. I was unsure about it because knowing people have different expectations of what is good for them and not others. Here is my honest review with pictures. it is in just the perfect location 5-6 city blocks from the main Plaza in the centre of town. This means you are outside the noise zone. The walk to town to the plaza is completely straight so there is no chance of getting lost. LOL The room is and has everything I need to be comfortable. Mine has a king size bed, a flat screen TV, a safe, open closet with hangers, 2 side tables, free bottles of water and more water in the lobby. A window, air conditioning unit, a compact bathroom that may put some people off because of the, let's call it ”coziness” of the size of it. For me I am over 5”9” so I am tall but still for me I was fine. This hotel is immaculately clean, the rooms are spotless, the staff are fabulous and will guide you what's on in town, where to eat, tours, you name it they will guide you. They are lovely beyond and feel like family. There is fresh coffee in the lobby all day and night and a roof top patio with some hanging lights with a lovely breeze because Merida gets hot. The only thing I would like is a small fridge in my room, and maybe I will put my request in. The reason I say that is because this is my second visit here and I have already booked my third stay. For the price, the location, the cleanliness, the kindness of the staff there is nothing else I need to feel safe and be happy. I can spend all my time concentrating on Merida what to see and do here.

ACHTUNG DIESES HOTEL BEGEHT BETRUG WARUM? Die Zimmer sind zum großen Teil alle Tag und Nacht durch laute Maschinengeräusche im Gebäude gestört, an Schlaf ist kaum zu denken, da diese plötzlich lauter und leiser werden in der Nacht. Das Schlimmste: Das Personal weiß davon und vermietet die Zimmer (alle Zimmer nach hinten hin) zum gleichen Preis. Der Manager lässt sich mehrfach verleugnen und auch die coolen Mitarbeiter von booking.vom lässt er eiskalt ohne Einsicht stehen. Danke nochmal an booking an der Stelle für die Hilfe. Lage: Das Hotel liegt auch nicht zentral sondern ca. 10min von allen Sehenswürdigkeiten entfernt in einer miesen Ecke. Lediglich der Ado fährt gegenüber ab. Das Frühstück kann man sich sparen. Einzig gute an dem Hotel ist dass es LQBTQ Mitarbeiter unterstützt. Ich kann dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen. Reine Abzocke.

Dall'inizio anche prima del mio viaggio il personale era molto accogliente per permettermi di controllare un po' più tardi quando il mio volo arrivava dopo il normale controllo di programma (che Trip.com è stato in grado di aiutare con il cambiamento). Il servizio era davvero grande e il personale è molto bello e utile per rispondere a qualsiasi domanda. Mi hanno migliorato il letto matrimoniale a un re. La stanza era molto pulita e aveva una grande vista sul Paseo Montejo. La piscina era all'aperto e piacevole con bel tempo e la palestra era adeguata. Il membro del personale mi ha chiamato un taxi quando sono andato fuori e mi ha aspettato fuori per salutarlo. Sarei sicuramente tornato per il servizio impeccabile e il personale amichevole! La posizione stessa è stata un grande plus!

My husband and I went to Merida and were so happy with our boutique hotel choice. The rooms at Diez Diez are well designed and comfortable. The rooftop bar is beautiful at sunset! The location was exceptional—right off the Paseo de Montejo. The best part of the experience was the staff. Eduardo greeted us every day by name and made great selections for both our food and beverages. He is a delight, both personal and professional. He made our trip better! Viridiana was also cheerful and helpful at reception each day. All the staff was amazing. We will go back!

Ottimo soggiorno in questo hotel. Il personale è molto cordiale e il cibo al ristorante è di buona qualità. Siamo stati 2 notti la prima volta, abbiamo viaggiato nello Yucatán, poi siamo tornati in questo hotel per la sua comodità per l'aeroporto.

Muy bonito y cómodo, para el costo está muy bien. Y cerca de todo lo que necesitaba para el momento. Fui por I trámite de SRE y estaba muy cerca. Y cerca del paseo Montejo donde fuimos a cenar. En realidad está muy cómodo y sin nada de ruido. Las camas y las almohadas estaba muy cómodas

Sono formato negli Stati Uniti e parlo solo un po' in spagnolo, e questa è la mia terza visita per un periodo di sei anni, e il vecchio personale del servizio mi ha sempre amplificato bene in inglese con le mie domande. Il mattino è il più grande colazione che abbia mai avuto in qualsiasi Hampton Inn ovunque nel mondo ( 6 - 10 ore). L'ascensore ha una chiave di sicurezza utilizzando la chiave della tua stanza, per andare in camera. Le camere sono grandi e il letto è molto comodo. Le cortine nere mantengono la stanza fredda per il giorno e la notte nella stanza, che ho bisogno di dormire meglio. Inoltre, la stanza è molto tranquilla senza rumore di mattina fuori forma né business né veicoli. Chiedi due chiavi se hai bisogno di una stanza fredda quando torni di notte.La chiave della stanza è adattata ad una slot vicino alla porta che permette al AC e alle luci di rimanere. La maggior parte delle notti, sono andato a fare un passo per l'esercizio fisico e si tratta di una passeggiata facile per il Luxury Mall, Costco o il museo con il centro Convnetion proprio in fondo alla strada. Le strade sono ben accendete, la polizia controlla le strade e mi sentivo al sicuro (anche vedevo molte donne camminare da sole la notte), c'è un cortile al centro commerciale e un negozio di convenienza OXXO situato al nord del centro commerciale. Era perfetto per le mie esigenze, il prezzo era giusto e rimarrò lì ancora.
