Hotel in zona PARQUE LA GATITA BLANCA, Merida

Stai qui per 2 notti. Ecco i pro e cons. PROS * LOCALIZZAZIONE - Il Zocalo è solo pochi centinaia di metri di distanza, quindi questo è stato in posizione di prima. La stazione centrale di autobus Ado era a pochi passi, anche se per memoria era circa un chilometro e mezzo percorso, quindi si potrebbe voler considerare un taxi. * CONDIZIONAMENTO Aereo - Ben funzionato * ACQUA TITOLO - Funzionato * WIFI - Funzionato e non ha lasciato CONS * NON LUCE NATURALE - La nostra stanza aveva una finestra che si aprì sul corridoio comunale, quindi non c'era luce naturale. * SECURITÀ - La grande finestra aperta sul corridoio comunale non poteva essere chiusa. Ciò significava che quando usciamo dalla stanza qualcuno poteva facilmente aprirla e entrare nella nostra stanza. Mandarono qualcuno a correggerlo, ma non era stato corretto quando siamo tornati. Ho notato che la stanza oposta aveva la stessa questione quando ho provato la finestra. * NO CLEAN - Quando andammo a usare la piscina c'era una grossa alga e spumante sulla superficie. Non è stato nuoto. * NOISE - Questo hotel sembra avere una relazione con grandi operatori turistici. Così grandi gruppi di persone vengono in pomeriggio e lasciano presto la mattina. Le mattine, quando andavano via, facevano un sacco di rumore e questo passava attraverso le pareti. In generale, non eravamo felici di stare e non lo consigliavano agli altri.

I discovered this little hotel on one of the travel websites. I was unsure about it because knowing people have different expectations of what is good for them and not others. Here is my honest review with pictures. it is in just the perfect location 5-6 city blocks from the main Plaza in the centre of town. This means you are outside the noise zone. The walk to town to the plaza is completely straight so there is no chance of getting lost. LOL The room is and has everything I need to be comfortable. Mine has a king size bed, a flat screen TV, a safe, open closet with hangers, 2 side tables, free bottles of water and more water in the lobby. A window, air conditioning unit, a compact bathroom that may put some people off because of the, let's call it ”coziness” of the size of it. For me I am over 5”9” so I am tall but still for me I was fine. This hotel is immaculately clean, the rooms are spotless, the staff are fabulous and will guide you what's on in town, where to eat, tours, you name it they will guide you. They are lovely beyond and feel like family. There is fresh coffee in the lobby all day and night and a roof top patio with some hanging lights with a lovely breeze because Merida gets hot. The only thing I would like is a small fridge in my room, and maybe I will put my request in. The reason I say that is because this is my second visit here and I have already booked my third stay. For the price, the location, the cleanliness, the kindness of the staff there is nothing else I need to feel safe and be happy. I can spend all my time concentrating on Merida what to see and do here.

Le stanze sono comode e pulite con ampio spazio a disposizione e un balconcino che si affaccia sul cortile interno sempre apprezzato. Giardino interno molto bello e super curato con anche dei simpatici pavoni. Inoltre l'hotel è in una posizione davvero comoda non distante dalla piazza principale e con molti ristoranti intorno. Un po' deludente il servizio colazione/cena, non dei migliori. Una sera siamo rimasti in hotel perché diluviava ed era difficile muoversi a piedi e il ristornate non è stato esattamente all'altezza della situazione, prima lamentandosi del fatto che non avessimo avvisato in tempo (?) e poi servendoci porzioni minime in tempi lunghissimi. Nonostante ciò consiglierei la struttura per la pulizia delle camere e la posizione.

Dall'inizio anche prima del mio viaggio il personale era molto accogliente per permettermi di controllare un po' più tardi quando il mio volo arrivava dopo il normale controllo di programma (che Trip.com è stato in grado di aiutare con il cambiamento). Il servizio era davvero grande e il personale è molto bello e utile per rispondere a qualsiasi domanda. Mi hanno migliorato il letto matrimoniale a un re. La stanza era molto pulita e aveva una grande vista sul Paseo Montejo. La piscina era all'aperto e piacevole con bel tempo e la palestra era adeguata. Il membro del personale mi ha chiamato un taxi quando sono andato fuori e mi ha aspettato fuori per salutarlo. Sarei sicuramente tornato per il servizio impeccabile e il personale amichevole! La posizione stessa è stata un grande plus!

My husband and I went to Merida and were so happy with our boutique hotel choice. The rooms at Diez Diez are well designed and comfortable. The rooftop bar is beautiful at sunset! The location was exceptional—right off the Paseo de Montejo. The best part of the experience was the staff. Eduardo greeted us every day by name and made great selections for both our food and beverages. He is a delight, both personal and professional. He made our trip better! Viridiana was also cheerful and helpful at reception each day. All the staff was amazing. We will go back!

La posizione è un po' complicata se ci si sposta con i mezzi. Ha un supermercato nelle vicinanze e il centro congressi di fronte. Dipendenti generalmente cordiali e disponibili. Colazione ok. Strutture molto confortevoli. C'è un mini-bar in camera, che in questa occasione mi ha aiutato a mangiare qualcosa in quanto, a causa della contingenza, non c'era niente aperto nelle vicinanze per mangiare e l'hotel aveva solo il servizio di colazione. Il prezzo è davvero molto migliore in questa app rispetto a quello diretto in hotel, praticamente 1/3 a notte.

Just spent 2 nights here but found the hotel to be well connected with free parking, shopping and restaurants; what else do you need? It is actually connected to a shopping center that has a Walmart. We ate at two of the three restaurants located in the mall and found others that we tried as well. Nice décor and good size comfortable rooms. Hope to return one day.
