I booked this room with concerns because we had a brother/sister pair and the pictures showed WC and shower that had only frosted glass for privacy - something I really don’t get and seems to be some new fad in hotels nowadays, not just Ibis Melbourne Central. But glad that the staff were able to secure a room with privacy doors ahead of our stay.

Great hostel, lots of activities and social group outings. Located very close to the Markets and Melbourne CBD with the free Tram zone so easy to get around with plenty to do.
I had a larger room but my friends had really small rooms that would be the only negative.
Great roof top space for evening views and socialising with hot tub.
The best hostel kitchen I've stayed in and have travelled the east coast and Western Australia. So many stations, great number of quality equipment and lots of space for food although fridges are always full np matter where you go.
Really happy with this stay.

Hotel meraviglioso in una posizione fantastica, vicino alle tram, ristoranti e caffè. Servizio dal personale dell'hotel è stato eccellente. Ci sono stati particolarmente piacere la coperta d'acqua e le bottiglie d'acqua riempibili. Le camere erano grandi, molto elegante.
Ci sono stati solo due questioni:
1.L'ascensore era difficile da usare.Anche se avessimo scelto il nostro piano in anticipo, il sensore dell'ascensore non controllerebbe la nostra carta chiave e dovevamo uscire in un altro piano e provare di nuovo. Abbiamo incontrato altri ospiti con lo stesso problema.
2. I tappeti nei bagni non sono ergonomici. Il pulsante rotondo è difficile da gestire quando si hanno mani sapone.
Queste questioni erano minori nel soggiorno complessivo. In generale, è stata una grande esperienza e ci siamo divertiti durante il weekend del Grand Prix. Grazie, Voco! Molto consigliare questo hotel.

L'ingresso frontale vi accoglie con un piccolo Zen sentimento. Il lobby è collegato al ristorante in un alloggio aperto. Situato nella Standard King Room, è stato molto spazioso con sedia a mano, desk, TV. Le bagni sono molto moderne con specchi a contatto.
Di sicuro piaceva il nostro soggiorno lì.

Domenica amatoriale. Ho scritto un'e-mail il giorno prima dell'arrivo per chiedere l'ubicazione del parcheggio. Nessuna risposta ricevuta. Siamo arrivati e abbiamo fatto il check-in. Abbiamo dato le carte in camera. Sono salito, la porta non si apriva, sono tornato alla scrivania, l'ho cambiato e mi è stato consigliato di ripararlo. Sono salito di nuovo, la porta non si apriva. Sono tornato giù e ho chiesto a mia moglie di venire giù. Ho sbattuto le carte sul bancone e mi hanno consigliato di procurarmi una stanza in cui le chiavi di accesso funzionano effettivamente. Ci siamo seduti. Dopo 15 minuti ho avvisato che la vita era troppo breve per mangiare per loro. Dovevamo pranzare e saremmo tornati tra 30 minuti. Se non risolto entro allora, sarà l'ora del Manager. Sono tornato, nuove carte, nuova stanza ed eravamo dentro, Avanti, password Wi Fi. È in TV, no, non lo era. Torno alla scrivania che l'ha scritto, lo ha scritto, non andare. Tornati alla scrivania ancora una volta, inseriscono la password Wi-Fi. Questo è stato fatto domenica. Lunedi. La signora alla reception si è scusata e ci ha dato l'aggiunta pomeridiana al parcheggio che ci ha evitato di correre in giro e ci ha permesso di pranzare prima di partire da Mel CBD. Ottima posizione, personale amatoriale in servizio la domenica.

Il Howey è un gemma nascosto! Ci serviva un hotel di ultima notte per una famiglia di 5 e abbiamo avuto occasione di The Howey. Ci sono state due camere, una con letto re e divano/senitore e la seconda con letto re e dimensioni regine tira fuori divano. Le camere erano pulite, moderne, ben mantenute e la posizione era perfetta.Possiamo camminare ovunque nel CBD in 15 minuti o meno e siamo immediatamente vicino a tonnellate di ristoranti e shopping. L'hotel è bloccato a Howey Place, proprio lontano dalle Little Collins tra Swanston e Elizabeth Streets. Bella posizione, ma lontano dai grandi distretti per essere tranquilli e tranquilli. In generale, è stato un ottimo soggiorno e in futuro intendiamo riservarci.

Eravamo molto benvenuti e assistiamo al check-in da jays. E' amichevole e gentile fare il check-in in modo facile. La stanza era pulita e spaziosa, il letto era molto confortevole. Il cone d'aria funzionava bene. La nostra stanza è sul 9° piano e si trova molto vicino al prossimo edificio che mi sentivo un po' guardato. L'hotel dispone di una palestra e di una piscina all'aperto semi riscaldata e una sauna che è bella, si può andare in qualsiasi momento senza controllare il tempo. Trams appena sotto e cibo intorno, molto conveniente. Il nostro ultimo giorno, era pioggia e Desmond andò oltre e sopra per proteggerci con umbrale al nostro camion. Ho avuto un buon affare con la piattaforma con cui ho prenotato e penso che fosse un valore per noi e ci siamo divertiti all'hotel. Molto consiglia :)

This hotel is conveniently located between the CBD and the eastern suburbs of Fitzroy and Collingwood.
This hotel is the former headquarters of the Salvation Army so the hotel has a very nice entrance.
Staff are helpful and friendly and the rooms are comfortable and spacious.
The hotel features a gym and a swimming pool that is good for lane swimming but not leisure swim.
The rooms are nice but it is worth mentioning that unless you get the more expensive rooms you will face a wall and will have partial views only.
All in all, I would recommend this hotel due to its location and price/value.

UUtente ospiteQuesto è un bel ristorante. L'interno è molto pulito e grande. Il letto è comodo e il bagno è buono con i jacuzzi. Vederete cangurosi e cocktail fuori dal cottage in mattina e sera. I miei figli godono molto del soggiorno. Tuttavia, è necessario cucinare i propri pasti o andare a mangiare. La guida è circa 15 minuti.

CCarvWe booked this new hotel out of curiosity and trust of large brand, but quite disappointed
The hotel located at an area outside t4, next to the big parking building/bus terminal, but there are no/minimum signage/directions leading to the hotel, while only one arrow at the bus terminal pointing at the big building with the large novotel logo, making everyone thinks that we can access the hotel through the well lighted bus terminal with ease, but sadly there is no crossing facilities between the terminal and hotel, you will need to lift your luggages, jaywalking through two car lane and climbing up the lane islands if you dont want to walk back 200m for the unnoticeable correct route; in fact the only route leading to the hotel from the airport is the side walk OPPOSITE to the big arrow with poor lightings and no signage at all. As a tourist with heavy luggage, thanks for offering the chance to weight lifting. When we arrived and reflect the problem, concierge said they also received similar complains. So nothing has been done to correct the nonsense and good luck to all the up coming visitors.
The room is decent to be honest and with a clear view facing the car park building we mentioned earlier, no much to see yet no problem for us too. Bed is soft and comfortable allowing us to have some good rest. However, theres an empty black bottle in the rubbish bin i believed to be the leftover from the last guest, hope the housekeeper can have a closer look in the future.
Some facilities have great designs that i would like to greet the designer/procurement and admire their mastermind for installing those equipment and challenge the wisdom of humankind. For instance: the anti-intuitive shower switch for change to top shower or handheld shower head, it is semi cylinder disguised as part of wall mount of the top shower, which is about 1.9m - 2m from the ground, for those who cant find the switch and not tall enough will have to stick with what was preset. Second, the hot water dispenser at the breakfast bar, you can simply press the two buttons on top and nothing would happen, turns out there is an extra sensor you need to block with your thumb and use another finger to press the buttons on top, this can encourage guests to give up on the hot water if no one is around to ask.
The breakfast is the most disappointing part, frankly all quality are high standard but the choices are few and basic, simply bacons/ eggs/ veges/ salad/ hams (well the mushrooms are very impressive though), there is also a honey hive (with a rectangular frame) but mostly empty at the middle (at the time of 7am) where the side are hard to spoon out, ppl try very hard but the loose stands make it even harder to spoon out, the frame eventually collapse and guest gave up to take the hive. No staff notice/try to fix the collapsed honey hive/ change to a new one during my whole breakfast ( around half an hour) and remain the same when we left. The pancakes supposed to be eat with the honey are dry and inedible imo too.
The price for the hotel is not cheap comparing to the nearing but the standard does not meet up with the price, facilities are new and thats the only advantage on the table.
PS: the hotel offer free shuttle to the terminals too, try to mention and book for your shuttle as there are only 3-4 seats if everyone have large luggages, otherwise the concierge will be surprised you did not ask for this hidden service with no mentioning during check in and no timetable ever provided when you check with them in the morning.

The room was smaller than expected but clean that is the most important for me, 7 mins walking distance from the southern station, very convenient location.

The room we ended up with was a family room which was nothing like the pics and when I tried to talk to one of the staff about this he acted like he didn't understand what the issue was and asked if we wanted him to take some of the beds out of the room. Pretty disgusted. Also the bed was like sleeping on a slab of cement
