Let's start with what is good about this business- * New carpets in the rooms/hallways * New furniture in reception * New beds/linen/TVs/lamps in the rooms * The location is unsurpassed- walking distance to the Women's hospital AND numerous parks, Brunswicks nightlife and shopping district * The carpark is generous * The staff are pleasant But then... what's bad? * No bins in the bathroom * Not enough power points in the rooms in convenient locations ( We all have to charge devices these days) * The pool looked lovely until you realise that in mid-Summer... it's not clean * Value is poor- I understand tennis is on in Melbourne so the motels are set at a premium... but really? Mid renovations and unfinished rooms... and they feel they can put the price up??That reflects badly on the management of this location because it's opportunistic in all the wrong ways. * Rooms are not maintained during your staff- beds were not made when we returned from our day out ... and then the ugly! * The water literally wasn't on in the morning... due to the lack of presence of hot water, we had learned to turn the taps on and let it run for a few minutes... but on the second morning here it literally stopped and no water came out for about five minutes. Thinking it was safe once the water returned, I showered, only for it to stop for about 20 seconds mid shower * Water for the shower runs hot and cold... literally mid-shower * Renovations are occurring like other reviewers have noted and there is clutter in the hallways It's not a motel that one would return to in a hurry, but if they manage to make good on their renovations and revitalise the outside areas ... it has potential to be something special.

Ho avuto una splendida esperienza di soggiorno in questo luogo. La reception è pronta a servire dalle 8 alle quasi le 10 e tutti parlano inglese e mandarino. Il luogo è proprio accanto a una strada principale così conveniente per quasi tutte le destinazioni. Il parco reale e il parco principessa è a pochi minuti di distanza. In realtà sono andato a correre per due giorni. Ancora una volta, un posto molto bello. L'unico piccolo ostacolo è che se non avete una macchina e sarà limitato dal trasporto pubblico, potrebbe non sentirsi così felice, soprattutto quando piove. Le immagini sono allegate ai parchi vicini.

This is a lovely little hotel with only 10 rooms. There's a restaurant/pub below with excellent food. It closes before 10pm, so no real issue with noise there. I was given room 104 which was their largest room with a sitting area. It has no view which wasn't the real issue. The problem was a large compressor outside the window which went on and off all night which disturbed the sleep quality. I requested a change of room and the staff were happy to oblige, most politely with no questions asked. I was given one of the rooms facing the main road which was not particularly busy and so was essentially quieter. However the trams start at about 5.45am which woke me up early (luckily I had to wake up about then anyway to catch my international flight). There was some other noise at around 2am with a couple of guys talking loudly outside but that's another story ... The other problem I had is that I suffer from allergy and this bothered me during my 3 night stay. I suspect that the carpet was made from wool (which I'm allergic) to rather than feather pillows (which I'm also allergic to). But this would not be an issue for normal folk! Overall, I liked this place. Loved the boutique style. The food downstairs was delicious. Staff were polite. I chose this hotel because of the location close to the Uni.

Stato qui il 3 e 4 giugno.. Nuovo hotel, così come previsto, pulito e ben mantenuto.. La camera era molto piccola, ma il letto era molto comodo ( due re singola si sono spinti insieme),la camera era una grande dimensione con una doccia grande, che aveva una mano con la testa, così come la testa piovana.Nessuna guardia,ma aveva una ferrovia con circa 6 vestiti.. Connie, che era al di fuori del dipartimento, era sorprendente, molto utile e niente era molto problematico.Molto facile.e senza saldatura check-in.. L'hotel era grande, una pietra gettata al Vic Market, e ristoranti. In futuro saremo di nuovo, e consigliamo questo hotel ... 2 pollice in alto ...👍👍

Great Southern Hotel is diagonally opposite to the Southern Cross station, where the Skybus to and ftom airport, picks and send travellers to city. Tour groups' pickup point. It has a restaurant attached to the hotel. Room is really basic and not serviced, but clean to start with.

Space is the first hostel of my trip and it’s set the bar pretty high! Staff are lovely, everywhere was always super clean, beds are comfy, towels are provided and you can even grab a fresh one every day if you wish. Location is great, would recommend the Queen Victoria Market for something to do and “pizza pizza pizza” was lush. There’s nothing “on” as such at the hostel but this didn’t bother us. The only thing that would be good is some extra fridges as they were packed full every day and it was hard to put your own food in anywhere. Would definitely come back.

Staff were friendly, good location and within walking distance to the supermarket. The cabin was very clean with comfortable beds and kitchen was complete with cooking utensils. Iron n ironing board were also provided. Highly recommended. 🇸🇬

Ho prenotato questo hotel perché avevo ottenuto prezzi decenti rispetto ad altri hotel della zona. Dopo la prenotazione, ho letto le recensioni orribili sull'hotel. dopo aver pensato di cancellare il soggiorno, ho deciso di dargli un tentativo. E' stato superiore alle mie aspettative. Sono rimasto in una suite da letto e era brillante. La custodia era alle mie aspettative. Il bagno con la struttura del jacuzzi (SPA) nel bagno era molto buono. Il servizio, in generale, era buono, pensavo di non chiamare servizio in camera, ecc. Ho fatto in modo di non avere difficoltà a comprare e mangiare alcuno degli oggetti (come ho avuto l'esperienza di Las Vegas, dove se avete toccato qualcosa, i sensori potrebbero rilevarlo e si potrebbe essere caricati). La posizione era brillante, vicino a una linea di tram e nel cuore della città. Il suo vicino al centro di Biz principale di Collins (puoi camminare lì). Non ho provato il colazione. Si', si', si', l'hotel sembra un po' vecchio con un po' vecchio (ma accettabile per me) carpette, ma non mi aspettavo di camminare in una Quattro Sessioni o in una Sofitel. Sono un viaggiatore frequente (5-6 viaggia al mese); e per il prezzo, nel cuore di MEL, questo posto è un furto. Non andare con la speranza sbagliata e ti piacerà il posto. Insomma - BRILLIANT & più certamente VALUTA PER MONETA. Io VADE DI RITORNO. Grazie, squadra Stamford!

Servono un po' più dettagliati nel settore della pulizia e dei servizi. In generale, un buon posto, ma potrebbe essere molto meglio se la gestione controlla le camere dopo la custodia e se non è impossibile informare la persona in anticipo quando la custodia viene e consigliare gentilmente la custodia di pulire la stanza su base giornaliera come al mio 3 Il giorno di soggiorno Housekeeping è venuto solo una volta quando ero fuori e non ha fatto nulla per il nome della pulizia, ma ha spostato le cose da un posto all'altro.

Abbiamo scelto Miami perché era molto vicino al luogo dove andavamo a vedere un show in diretta. Che gemma. Dall'arrivo, il personale era utile e amichevole. Abbiamo ricevuto un'ottima aggiornamento che ci ha dato una splendida vista della città: la nostra stanza era grande, il letto molto comodo, la vasca ben progettata (anche avevano la crema di rasoio), un paio di sedie da sedere e, una cosa che amo, le mutandine per il tè o il caffè. Tutto era senza spot. Il WiFi era buono. Ci sono parcheggi sul sito a pagamento. Alcuni sotto copertura ma anche spazio per i veicoli più alti che non possono adattarsi sotto. Ci è una cucina ospite che sarebbe grande per soggiorni più lunghi. Siamo rimasti venerdì sera senza problemi di rumore. Caffè, pub e ristoranti sono tutti a piedi e un tram è appena in piedi. In viaggio in città, di solito restiamo in un hotel molto più costoso, ma da ora in Miami sarà il nostro andare in proprietà. Molto conveniente, grande personale e comodi letti, cosa altro potresti chiedere?
