Room itself was as described but the city view was so lousy. Location ok, free CBD tram in front and variety of restaurants. Shopping area was quite far to walk. In all I would look for another hotel if I were to go to Melbourne again.

Overall experience was good. At first when I checked into a room, the room was full of hair everywhere. It was obvious the room had been not taken care of properly. In the bathroom by the soap tray, in the tea cup, and even on the bed.. So I requested for a change of room, and was led to a room next door that was furnished with slightly simple duvet, and missing a couch. Not the best start of the experience, but the breakfast next day and the gelato was awesome. The coffee options are great, the greek yogurt and coconut yogurt was to the point. Will come back to Le Meridien next time I am in Melbourne.

The hotel charged on my card AUS 24 saying that we have consumed 2 moon dog lager during our stay which we didn't.

It is in a very good location and easy to take the free tram in CBD area, nearly all the sightseeing places can be visited there! A very good hotel and may book it again in future

The front desk staff are very helpful and friendly, especially Ms Mabel. Breakfast is good too. The room facing the Parliament House is very nice.
