Hotel in zona Sri Maa Veeran Temple, Melaka Tengah

This is a very new hotel which started their business in March 2023. Wanted to try on the first day of opening but due to some reason, it was delayed till now. It’s a first Marriott hotel in Melaka, so I do have very high expectations from them. As a Marriott platinum elite member, I’ve stayed in many hotel under Marriott organisation. Upon reaching the hotel with grab car, the staff came up to me immediately and lead me to the check in counter, the lobby are huge, and I can still smell that the hotel are still so new. Not much of the guest in the lobby area, it’s a Monday so I guess it’s normal. No suite room upgrade and no complimentary breakfast for a platinum member, although I was upgraded to a strait view room which I appreciated it. It can see a tiny bit of the sea. Apart from that, I guess the room size and amenity are the same. The check in staff told me that the suite room was full… I mean.. it’s a Monday.. and I literally still can see the suite room was available in the Bonvoy app. As I’ve mentioned, I’ve been to many hotel under Marriott organisation. I don’t always get upgraded to a suite room, but it was okay, I do understand all these are subjected to individual hotel policy and it’s all a good will. But I guess the staff could just tell me that the hotel are still new, the suite room are limited and it’s reserved for paying guest. I would totally understand that. But I don’t think it’s wise to you know, use a default replied as member like us, we check on the app. For me, if there’s no available suite room, I wouldn’t even ask for an upgrade. Secondly, there’s no complimentary breakfast, I paid RM70 for the 2 day breakfast. I’ve stayed in a few courtyard hotel, this was the first one that I’ve paid for breakfast, there might be other courtyard that don’t provide complimentary breakfast for guest with elite status, maybe I didn’t stay much enough to see it all. I’ve stayed with hotel that told me that their facility actually don’t offer complimentary breakfast for elite member, but they will just give it to me as a good will on top of my welcome gift. Just a little suggestion, like maybe let the counter staff to decide, if they could slip in some complimentary breakfast to guest with elite status or even guest that potentially come back again. I’m not complaining here, just some of my suggestions. The room are new, nice and spacious, very clean. Nice TV channel selection, view was great. Bed are firm to the level that I like, they offer pillow menu as well. Had very good sleep for the 2 night. Breakfast was very basic. There’s a very annoying flies flying around my table.. how did it come into the hotel, lol. Gym are small but there should be everything you need. The infinity pool are great! Very good view and very Instagrammable. Please visit the pool when you are here. The staff and friendly and nice. Would come back again to the hotel when I’m back in Melaka.

La camera è del The Pines Hotel, la posizione è ottima e la camera accogliente. Ma non c'erano servizi come il minibar o lo spazzolino da denti. L'unico articolo disponibile erano gli asciugamani. Inoltre non c'è la connessione wifi. La camera è pulita e biq. E la vista dalla camera (23° piano) è spettacolare. Non c'era la doccia per la doccetta vicino al WC.

Sono coreano. Si prega di fare riferimento alla recensione~ Il sentiero lungo il fiume è proprio accanto, quindi è stato fantastico uscire la mattina e il pomeriggio. Mi è piaciuta molto la posizione. C'è un minimarket e un supermercato accanto all'hotel , e c'è un ristorante italiano KFC e Subway dall'altra parte della strada. Ci sono anche tre grandi farmacie molto accoglienti nelle vicinanze. Aveva gli elementi necessari ai viaggiatori. In particolare, 99 Market era economico e l'ho usato spesso. La pulizia dell'hotel la biancheria da letto era buona, quindi ho trascorso un soggiorno confortevole senza preoccuparmi dell'igiene. Il bagno era molto grande e carino. Ho effettuato una prenotazione con colazione inclusa e la colazione era deliziosa. Sì! La signora alla reception mi ha gentilmente guidato e ho trascorso un soggiorno confortevole e piacevole per 3 notti. Malacca sembra una città fantastica!! Era un quartiere tranquillo che mi ha fatto venire voglia di tornare di nuovo con qualcuno che mi piace. Grazie, Malacca.

Un'esperienza di soggiorno molto positiva. L'hotel si trova proprio sul fiume Malacca. È possibile raggiungere a piedi luoghi vivaci come Jonker Street in circa 15 minuti. La camera è ampia, con un ampio balcone, ed il bagno è dotato di una grande vasca. La colazione è nell'Edificio 3A, con una gamma completa di varietà. Poiché il nostro orario del treno era relativamente tardi, abbiamo chiesto di effettuare il check-out 1 ora dopo il giorno del check-out e l'hotel ha prontamente accettato. Nel complesso, un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo e altamente raccomandato.

Hotel recentemente ristrutturato in piccola zona indiana. Passeggiata vicino a Jalan Bunga Raya dove c'è un sentiero al fiume e molti caffè. La stanza è pulita e tranquilla. La colazione è semplice ma riempimento. Il servizio è v amichevole. Rimarrei lì di nuovo.

La stanza è spaziosa. 2 letti matrimoniali e hanno ancora spazio per camminare. Ci sono 3 piscine al livello 9 ma non ci sarà asciugamano. La posizione è a circa 15 minuti a piedi dalla strada Jonker. Vicino a un ristorante di Nyonya e a lungokan Siham , Mahkota Ice Kacang e così via. Mancanza di manutenzione, camere e strutture. L'ascensore deve attendere molto, soprattutto per il picco. Carpark gratuito a livello 7 & 8 . Ma è necessario entrare in parcheggio per rilevare il numero della targa e poi registrare con l'aiuto del desk front. E 'gratuito per più ingressi per il soggiorno.

Luogo piacevole, relativamente pulito e tranquillo, lontano dalle strade principali, vicino a tutto. Luoghi di interesse a piedi che è conveniente. Piazzate di pasto, piacevole cibo di croccante vicino soprattutto colazione, pranzo ecc può essere vicina. La strada Jonker è a pochi passi e vicino al lato del fiume.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The location is perfect, situated in the heart of Melaka, making it convenient to explore all the main attractions. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and attentive. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and efficient service. The check-in process was smooth and quick, and I felt like a valued guest throughout my stay. The room was immaculate and beautifully decorated, with all the modern amenities one could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. I particularly enjoyed the stunning view from my window, which added to the overall ambiance of relaxation.

Il servizio di manutenzione è di grande aiuto. Al momento del check-in in camera, la cassaforte era chiusa a chiave, la TV era spenta dalla fonte di alimentazione principale. Questi sono stati risolti immediatamente su richiesta. La pulizia della stanza è relativamente buona, ma può essere migliore, si può vedere della carta velina bloccata nel ventilatore dell'aria condizionata.

Where do I begin with this hotel…?! Booked for 3 nights via Expedia because the hotel’s reservation page kept declining my credit card but still charging it - will sort this out later. Check-in: was told I had to pay a RM50 deposit in cash when I checked in. My hotel was prepaid online but I have no issue with the deposit, except they wouldn’t take credit cards for the deposit as they apparently cannot issue deposit refunds via credit card. I guess they haven’t learned about placing authorizations on cards and reversing the charges. They have Touch n’Go e-wallet stickers at reception but also wouldn’t allow me to pay the deposit via TnG. Fortunately I had some cash on me or I would have had to go find an ATM to withdraw money. Arguing with the receptionist is pointless since they’re merely enforcing stupid and nonsensical policies by management. Room: basic but acceptable. The remote controls for the air conditioning and tv were given at check-in. I guess the management is highly suspicious of guests and will not leave them in the room. Hot water in the shower was lukewarm at best and water pressure so-so. TV channels have zero channels in English. Guess English-speakers aren’t their intended clientele. Housekeeping does not automatically make up rooms. I was out the whole day and when I came back around 645pm, realised that the room was not made up. By then I had decided to move hotels and forego remaining 2 nights after the first night. At checkout when I told the receptionist about the unmade room, I was told that I had to call housekeeping to clean the room. What kind of half-baked, cheapskate dump has such a ridiculous policy!? I was told that apparently some guests don’t allow housekeeping in and so they just decided to not clean until asked. Amazingly every other respectable hotel in the world has a better solution to this - come back later!! Funnily this ridiculous policy is also not communicated at check-in. I didn’t expect an offer of refund for checking out early. Any hotel whose management is such a skinflint that they wouldn’t even provide daily housekeeping or keep the remotes in the room can hardly be expected to engage in customer service. Oh as a bonus, I saw an ironing board in the corridor. They wouldn’t provide ironing boards in the room of course. The pictures say more than I can. Verdict: never coming back here again if I can help it. Overpriced and does not deserve 3 star rating.
