Medina: hotel con bar

I am profoundly disappointed with the nightmarish experience at Golden Tulip Al Ansar Hotel during our Umrah stay from December 13th to 18th, 2023. Upon our arrival at the hotel, we were assigned rooms already occupied by male guests, who were smoking, exposing my Mother, Wife, and Sister to an unsafe and terrifying situation. Replacement rooms provided were disgusting, with unclean conditions of the carpet, bedding and bathroom. It seems like the receptionist were just handing out room keycards without checking if the rooms had guests, which is an unbelievably unsafe practice. Despite lengthy complaints, the hotel only offered suitable rooms after much persistence. However, our peace was short-lived. Within 12 hours, Mr Amid, a vile aggressive staff member, insisted we vacate our rooms, falsely claiming we had booked for only one night. Despite my attempts to clarify and request a check under my name, he adamantly demanded our eviction, even threatening to involve the police. This heartless behavior caused my mother to cry, an unjust burden during a sacred journey. Regrettably, Al Hadi Travel/Polani Travel, our travel agency, failed to provide effective on-ground support in Saudi Arabia. Communication was limited to phone calls, accommodating UK time, and their inability to resolve the situation promptly added to our stress. I strongly discourage others from choosing Al Hadi Travel/Polani Travel for their insensitivity and incompetence, and will be posting a review soon. Only through the intervention of a compassionate outsider did Mr Amid reluctantly check under my name, revealing our valid reservation for the entire duration. No apology was extended, and the replacement rooms provided were unsatisfactory, featuring uncleanliness and a lack of basic room service. This appalling treatment, coupled with the unhygienic conditions, prompts me to label this as the worst hotel experience. I vehemently discourage others from choosing Golden Tulip Al Ansar Hotel and would rate it zero stars if possible. Mr Amid's callous behavior is inexcusable, and I hope he is held accountable for his actions by a higher power. Note: The attached photo of Mr Amid is provided.

We struggled to find a hotel in Medina but when i come across this hotel i took my chances and WOW i mean it was a gamble hardly any reviews but this hotel is so modern lookswise the room was so spacious Breakfast was delicious and most importantly the staff were so helpful & welcoming they have a free shuttle to the mosque. In my opinion this should be a 5 star hotel really enjoyed my stay :)

we stayed at this hotel during our umrah trip. We were offered a room on the second floor which was great, as the lifts get busy during salah times, so being close to the ground floor really helps. The Room was spacious, had plenty of wardrobe and luggage space, good size bathroom ( we had a wet room). The water can be hotter in my opinion, i found that in the evening it was just lukewarm. in addition, the lighting in the room can also be improved as there's not much natural light coming through the window, however plenty of lamps around, so i guess that compensates. we noticed that there was housekeeping but not much staff, think they need to invest in more staff as its a big hotel and the team they have is simply not enough for the demand. As a result, we didn't call for much housekeeping, rather just picked up what we needed and the men were kind enough to provide. Breakfast was amazing, good selection, kind staff especially Nada, who would greet us in, friendly and helpful. Spoke with Reem also, that one time. overall i would recommend this hotel. its value for money, its positives outweighs the shortfalls but if they were to improve on their shortfalls it would definitely get full stars if not more. we didnt get opportunity to, but if you can, would recommend you try their in house lunch or dinner option.

Uno dei peggiori. Igiene 0%, le camere al momento del check-in non erano davvero pulite (esempio: c'erano capelli sul letto, la zona doccia del bagno aveva una massa di capelli, WC non molto pulito) praticamente l'intera stanza non era pulita. Oh, non dimenticare che la stanza dei miei amici aveva una mela marcia dietro un supporto. E non c'è personale addetto alle pulizie che pulisca la stanza quotidianamente. La cosa peggiore è che tutte le attrezzature nelle stanze sono solo per la visualizzazione. C'è il telefono ma non è collegato, c'è la TV ma senza telecomando, l'armadio si apre solo da un lato, la cassaforte c'è ma non funziona e posso andare avanti. Capisco che questo non è un hotel a 5 stelle. Ma gli standard igienici di base non esistono 🙄. Per favore non prenotare qui. Ho soggiornato qui perché non avevo scelta e gli altri hotel erano pieni. Oh e un'ultima cosa, siamo andati a lamentarci una volta, ma l'addetto alla sicurezza ha detto che non c'è nessun manager ed è l'unico lì (per tua informazione è a tarda notte) sapendo che ci aspettavamo che arrivasse qualcuno ma non è venuto nessuno nella nostra seconda notte rimani qui. A nessuno importa davvero, questo hotel si rivolge a gruppi in cui nessuno ha scelta in quale hotel viene messo. Anche quando ho controllato su Trip Advisor ora non ci sono commenti da parte dell'hotel per la recensione negativa, il che può solo significare che semplicemente non gli interessa (perché è vicino al masjid Nabawi che è il loro unico vantaggio). Se qualcuno vuole prenotare questo hotel, consiglio di non farlo .
