Wingate by Wyndham McAllen

I like the hotel, it is very close to the mall, and near main avenues. It is cozy, and comfortable. The breakfast needs improvement. A bigger variety is needed. I liked that the bathroom was adapted for my senior mom's needs. We didn't like that the light in the bathroom is very noisy, since it is linked to the vent extractor. We prefer different switches for light and extractor. No light above the sink. The drain both at the sink and tub works kind of slow, so we always had stagnant water.

Stayed for 3 nights on business. Very clean and in a safe area. The bed was very comfortable. The AC unit wasn’t very good. Had to keep lowering the temp to get it to stay cool. Only other hiccup was my card key kept having to be reset. Overall, it was one of the better hotels in the valley

Great service from gentleman at the desk was very friendly and informative. Breakfast was great. Wide variety of foods. Clean room. Bed was a little to firm, but that's just personal preference. Great stay. I would stay at BWPlus again. I did not use the pool but was very inviting and clean.

Stay as expected, under usual high standard of Best Western Hotels. Housekeeping and cleaning, food and beverages, climate, transportation, check in and check out were all very good; they even let me made early check in, very nice gesture by them.

The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful, they went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasant one. Our room was very clean and comfortable.. we truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again when we travel to McCallen. We will also recommend to our family and friends.

Absolutely fantastic 👏 staff, @ check-in, the cleaning 👌 staff..super friendly chap when checked-out early in the morning 🌄..even drove us to the Airport. Microwave worked 💪 brilliantly & Tea downstairs in the morning + cereal @ 4:30am
