The lackluster location, indifferent staff, outdated accommodations, underwhelming dining options, and overall lack of care and attention to detail made for an unenjoyable stay. The hotel is 8 minutes walk away from the nearest train station, but close to the main tourist attractions. The room I stayed in was small but clean. Breakfast and dinner were delicious.

A stones’ throw from the train station and with a stunning view, this is a ryokan that seems to be unchanged since the 1970s or early 80s. The fixtures are dated but in good condition, and it was very quiet. Breakfast was superb!
