From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this hotel was not up to par with my expectations. First and foremost, the location of the hotel was rather lackluster. Situated in Sendai, I had hoped for a scenic and picturesque view of the surrounding area, but instead, I was greeted with a rather uninspiring landscape. The hotel's proximity to attractions and amenities was also quite inconvenient, as it required a fair amount of travel to reach any notable destinations. The staff at the hotel were far from friendly or accommodating. Their lackadaisical attitude and indifference towards the guests were disappointing, to say the least. Requests for assistance or information were met with apathy, leaving me feeling ignored and unimportant. It is evident that the staff lacked the proper training in customer service and hospitality. The accommodations themselves were subpar and in dire need of renovation. My room was outdated, with worn-out furnishings and a general sense of neglect. The cleanliness standards were questionable, and I encountered several maintenance issues throughout my stay. The lack of attention to detail and upkeep was simply unacceptable. In terms of dining options, the hotel fell short yet again. The on-site restaurant served mediocre food with limited choices. The quality of the meals was average at best, failing to impress even the most casual of diners. The lack of variety and flavor left me disappointed and longing for better culinary experiences. Furthermore, the overall ambiance of the hotel was lacking. The atmosphere was dull and devoid of any character or charm. The common areas felt neglected and poorly maintained, further contributing to the overall sense of dissatisfaction. In conclusion, my experience at the 大江户温泉物語松島温泉壯觀酒店 was far from satisfactory. The lackluster location, indifferent staff, outdated accommodations, underwhelming dining options, and overall lack of care and attention to detail made for an unenjoyable stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a pleasant and memorable experience in Sendai.

L'hotel sulla montagna, si sente più sicuro. È possibile vedere il panorama del mare. La cena è tipo di pasto, perché era ancora un'epidemia, quindi ho scelto questo. A stones’ throw from the train station and with a stunning view, this is a ryokan that seems to be unchanged since the 1970s or early 80s. The fixtures are dated but in good condition, and it was very quiet. Breakfast was superb!

La costa di Songdao mi è piaciuta così tanto che ho deciso di fermarmi lì per una notte. Sono passato davanti a questo grande hotel sulla strada per il Red Bridge sull'isola di Fukuura. Sono stato attratto dalle terrazze che si affacciano sul mare. Ho cercato sulla piattaforma e ho scoperto che una stanza singola costava solo 600+, quindi ho deciso di prenotare una stanza. Dopo il check-in, ho avuto la sensazione che si trattasse di un hotel complesso di grandi dimensioni, come quelli che si vedono comunemente in Giappone. I corridoi delle stanze erano molto lunghi e lussuosi. C'era un ristorante giapponese al primo piano chiamato ”LeLe”, che era aperto fino alle undici o mezzanotte di sera. Ho visto poster di hotpot di manzo al taro, taro fresco di Taiwan e sakè locale di Miyagi. In effetti, ho sentito scoppi di risate quando sono passato dopo aver fatto il bagno. C'è anche il mio grande bagno pubblico preferito, che è molto grande e ha due vasche all'aperto. C'è anche un'area bevande nella hall. L'aceto di mele e l'acqua di prugne sono entrambi deliziosi. C'è un Family Mart e un 7-Eleven non lontano dal retro dell'hotel. L'unico aspetto negativo è che il ragazzo alla reception non sembrava molto entusiasta.

I am so glad I chose Komatsu-kan during my stay in Matsushima. The receptionist was friendly and very helpful. When I told him I am a vegetarian, he kindly informed the kitchen to exclude animal flesh and seafood from my meal. (Usually, hotels ignored my food request, or they just gave me tofu and pickles for my meal.) The next morning, I was so surprised to see my breakfast. I loved the fresh salad, steamed vegetables, over-easy eggs, chawan-mushi, and the pickles even tasted better than before. Then the room surprised me with the pine tree and the beautiful sea view. The next morning I woke up at 4:45 to see the sunrise. Just from my room, I could see the sun slowly rising from the other side of the sea. Stunning! I really enjoyed the little Me time here. Actually, this hotel is well-maintained, and that helps raise the value of it. I also love the fresh little flowers right next to the washing basin. And the people working here are quite ya-sa-shi. They are kind and gentle. Generally speaking, this is a nice place worth staying and relaxing in.
