This hotel is only a few meters across the road from the beach. You can wash off the salt water and sand outside the hotel. The rooms were comfortable with air conditioning and a small private balcony overlooking the pool. The food was good and the staff helpful and friendly.

We loved our stay at this hotel, which welcomed us very well. The hotel is very well located, close to restaurants and beaches. We rented motorbikes from a shop on the same street and toured the entire south of the island. The pool is very pleasant, the breakfast is also as it has everything you need to start the day off right. Fruit, bread, pancakes, a chef cooking all types of eggs, natural juices, coffee, cakes, etc. The best thing about the hotel is all the staff. They are very friendly young people, who work very well, who help us with everything, very sweet and very helpful. Whatever you need, they always run to help you with a smile on their faces. I ask everyone to read my review and book this hotel to be kind to these young people. I especially want to thank Chef San Jee who treated us very well. For 4 nights we arrived late at the hotel, and he managed to cook our dinner for 10 people. We loved Chef San Jee's food. The Kothu Rotti cooked by him is divine. Another interesting detail is that there are peacocks and we get used to their presence.

We booked a luxury villa for two nights. But unfortunately this villa didn’t have ocean view (at least partial). It’s not worth the premium price. We recommend you call ahead and specifically clarify the ocean view if that’s important to you! Food : Breakfast was excellent. Dinner options for seafood were limited. I had local seafood platter which was great. Rooms/ villas Clean and well kept, but substantially below the standards for a high end resort. Out toilet was not flushing and hot water system was not working. This caused great inconvenience for us on the first day. When we complained maintanece staff came to fix it, but they could not. Then they offered us another villa, and said it would be ready by 2.30pm, and advised us to pack and be ready. But it wasn’t ready until 530pm. Staff- Good and friendly. But they looked tired and exhausted. Front-desk staff- Mahendra was great and helpful but Govinda needs bit more training in customer service. Location Excellent and unique Beach Have access to 2 public beaches, small walk, west beach was very rough, but the south beach was great, and about 300m walk from that point another excellent surf beach, all accessible. Surrounding village We did a walk bit-beyond surf-beach. Noted number of luxury resorts and the area has become very trendy!

Quattro amici sono rimasti alla Villa Walauwwa. La privacy totale con i pasti serviti come e quando abbiamo ordinato... Molto rilassante con bella vista sul mare ... tutti abbiamo avuto turni al Spa e dovremmo dire che Renuka era così cura e professionale.... Il suo viso con tutti i prodotti naturali era eccellente. Sicuramente visiterà di nuovo .... Perfetto per rigiovanire. Il servizio era molto buono ...

Thank you for the week we stayed with you in august. Special thanks to Gayan and Ruwan who made us very welcome, thank you also to the great cook as well. The food was excellent especially for us who are french. The banana bread at breakfast is delicious. Great location for people seeking some peace from Mirissa center. The view is beautiful, but there are rocks so you cannot swim there BUT there is a nice beach at about 100 meters near Mirissa diving center. The rooms are clean and bed is very comfortable. On the second floor there is a bar with a pool table and a PS5 for the kids. Finally, all the staff is very friendly and willing to help us every time. We highly recommend this small hotel, we felt like at home and we will definitely be back.
