Riad Ifoulki

Fantastic location and a very warm welcome. It seems like a big place but you hardly see anyone as you’re all spread out. Breakfast was lovely, they sit you down and give you some mint tea when you’re checking in, and the owner or staff are always on hand to check that you’re enjoying your stay. We didn’t stay for dinner but will next time. Will definitely be back.

Wonderful location. A great experience for the spirited trave!ler. We booked a standard room which was adequate for our needs but would advise taking one of the larger rooms or junior suites. Having read some of the negative reviews, they just don't reflect our experience of the riad. This is not a five star hotel (You get those outside the medina). It is home open to guests who can become as involved as they wish. Breakfast is from 9 ' til 6 ( yes, that's right) with a complete choice of where you have it served with dinner from 7pm on the roof along with all the other multinational guests with whom you may engage in conversation through the good offices of the multilingual and eternally youthful owner, Peter. The staff were, without exception, young, enthusiastic, friendly and very obviously loved what they were doing. Can thoroughly recommend. Thanks for a great experience.

The Riad Ifoulki Marrakech Week’s stay, late October / beginning November2024. Couple - North-west England. We booked this place because we wanted to stay in a traditional Riad . Its design and ambiance was just what we had hoped for. A haven of peace after discovering the souks,, We had a junior suite with a delightful terrace where we enjoyed breakfast each morning. The bed was comfortable but the bedding needs updating . The rest of the suite was fine and we enjoyed hot showers whenever we needed them. Dinner was available each evening, informal, all sitting together at a large table with other guests and our host, Peter the owner of the Riad. A special occasion was dinner on the roof terrace at sunset. Multi lingual, Peter, made us most welcome and Abdullah, the manager and general factotum, was always there to help with whatever we needed. We enjoyed our stay very much, felt very welcomed, looked after and very comfortable..all the staff were willing and helpful

We spent 3 nights at the Riad Ifoulki and we had just the best time. First, let me say a big thank you to all the wonderful staff who work there and cannot do enough for you, the hotel Manager Abdul who put a new Sim card in my phone in the first 20 minutes and was always ready to help and answer queries. The hotel is full of charm, a real Moroccan experience with lush interior gardens and lovely places on the roof to read, sleep or sunbathe. The hotel is in the old town and you can walk to anywhere you might want to have a look at in Marrakesh. We chose half board and we were really glad that we did, breakfast can be had at pretty much any time you wish and anywhere in the hotel you wish to have it. Dinners were excellent and magical taken on the rooftop terrace. In spite of being in the centre of the city the hotel is very quiet and the rooms are lovely and most have their own private terrasse. But the thing that made Riad Ifoulki amazing, is the atmosphere and the way the guest are treated, it's like a great big embrace. everyone dines together, along with the owner Peter and you get to know everyone in the hotel and it's great for using your languages and swapping tips for visits in the city and outside. We absolutely loved it and we made friends.

Beautiful riad with very helpfull staff! Friendly welcome with tea, good explanation and the rooms were ready even when we arrived early. Also we immediately were offered lunch. They helped out with umbrellas since we had a visit under very rare rainy circumstances. Room was comfy and I can imagine that with the hot summer weather this will be a peaceful place to chill and relax. Very flexible with breakfast (which was very good) and also with arranging transport or tours. Some small maintenance in some rooms can make the experience 5/5.
