Riad Wazani Square & Spa

The guy manager had a very bad attitude towards us from the start, even tho they were late and we did not get the time that we paid for. When we asked about it he got an angry attitude and was not “custom-friendly” I do not think this was worth 2200dhr, we took the 30min hammam and 30 min massage and we were 3 persons and we needed to share 25min hammam (bc they were late) so we got hammam in roughly 8min each, but paid for 30min each. This was not worth the money.

Excellent location: close to everything and at the same time super peaceful and quiet. The riad team is super helpful and providing all the needed information. The whole riad and our room was always very perfumed and clean. The decor is super tasteful. The room I stayed was very pleasant and identical to the photos. The terrace and pool are also great. I think the only point of improvement is the breakfast, which could have had better bread instead of few slices and yogurt.

We had an absolutely incredible time at Riad Wazani. It is oozing with character and immaculately clean! The room we had was stunning, and the facilities were lovely. Again, beautifully clean. The rooftop is amazing. A proper sun trap with a gorgeous pool and loungers. Fresh fluffy towels on the loungers every day the staff can’t do enough for you! We had breakfast and lunch and both were lovely. The staff here cannot do enough for you and are all so helpful and polite. However the best thing about this Riad is probably the location. It is so central to everything, while also being far enough away from the square that while on the rooftop you feel like you can relax. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough to anyone and everyone looking to stay in Marrakesh.

We arrived on Saturday morning after an early flight .. our tiredness disappeared as soon as we stepped into this beautiful place. We were greeted by Ismahane and her friendly staff. The Riad is spotless, the breakfast delicious and the rooftops well organised. We had a great experience staying at this place and last but not least, the Riad is located only 1 min walk from Cafe de France. I definitely will come back. Thanks again to the Wazani team!

We stayed in a triple room for 4 days. I had the hammam spa and massage, truly relaxing experience. The breakfast was always fresh and tasty, and the staff went above and beyond in making our stay really special. I think the only downside for me which they tried to address was the ait conditioner not being cool enough.

I stayed here on a weeks solo trip to Marrakech and honestly it couldn’t have been a better choice of hotel. It’s located just off the main square so perfect location for all the sightseeing and day trips you can organise. The room was clean and comfortable with air con and complimentary water and biscuits on arrival, as well as toiletries. I stayed in the Piano room on the ground floor, it was plenty spacious for me, though the space at the sides of the bed may be difficult for those with limited mobility - however given the pool and restaurant are up 3 flights of stairs, the hotel may not be the best choice for those with mobility issues (there is no lift). The breakfast was different every day but always traditional Moroccan baked items such as sponges, pancakes, and breads, and always brilliant! They serve lunch and dinner too which were also really good, especially if you’re wanting to relax by the pool, as they will serve your food on the terrace for you. The terrace is stunning, but the tiles get HOT in the sun as does the sides of the pool, so make sure to wear flip flops or sliders, and maybe place a towel on the side of the pool to get in and out as you will burn yourself - not the hotels fault at all though! I made use of the spa and massage service which were fantastic and well priced, as was the tour guide (Tahir) that the hotel booked for me to show me round the Souks and Badi place. That was definitely worth doing as sellers in the Souks don’t try to rip you off when you have a tour guide! Finally, a massive thanks to the staff at the hotel Hicham, Youssef, Ismahane, and Abdel Jbar. They were incredibly helpful all week with anything I needed, full of recommendations for all aspects of my trip, organised guides, taxis, and trips, and were generally just incredibly welcoming and friendly. A credit to the hotel and I would have been lost without them!
