Stayed at the lovely Guesthouse in Margate as a birthday trip and had such a lovely time. The rooms where comfy, really enjoyed the pantry. Had a beautiful view of the sea with breakfast and took short walks on the beach. It felt cosy and just what I needed.

My family and I ( aged between 5 and 78 ) had a fantastic stay. The rooms were beautiful and spacious with all the amenities you could want and spectacular views. All ages thoroughly enjoyed the sweets and snack stand which was conveniently situated outside our doors ! The service was also flawless, attentive and polite and the staff were very patient and considerate of our needs. We hired the private room for our evening meal which was a great space for my family and the food was delicious. Special shout out to Peter for looking after us ! I could not recommend the guesthouse more, a perfect place to stay and explore Margate, with fantastic bars and restaurants yards away from its front door (Though their own restaurant and bar is so great you actually never need to leave ! ) We will definitely be returning !

Couldn't fault our stay here, we stayed in their outlook suite which is directly opposite the beach. The suite was stunning and the rolltop bath was incredible. We could have asked for more. I proposed to my girlfriend there and it was the perfect setting, we can't wait to return and we would highly recommend.

Our visit at No.42 was an amazing experience. The room was incredibly spacious for two people and extremely well presented. It included a huge bathroom which was the perfect place to unwind after a long day of walking around Margate. Every member of staff that we encountered at the hotel was extremely helpful and friendly, including a night time worker who had a chat with my mum and offered her a hot drink during a bout of insomnia! We visited for her birthday weekend and the restaurant staff gave us a complimentary glass of prosecco and dessert which made her feel really special! The spa was very relaxing and a perfect way to end our trip. The spa staff were really knowledgeable and made sure we left feeling very relaxed. Overall, I cannot rate this hotel highly enough and we are looking forward to visiting it again in the future!

The Spa was incredible and well worth every penny. My partner and I have the Copper Cove experience and it was up there with one of my best massages I’ve ever had. Elle treated me and paid special attention to areas of particular discomfort and tension and really went the extra mile. Nadia treated my partner and she claimed she’s never felt so relaxed and truly switched off. The facial topped it off and she felt rejuvenated! 11/10 I would go back to Margate just for this ⭐ Not only this we ate at the Pearly Cow and the food and service was spot on. Reese was especially attentive and really helpful! Thanks to all

The room was so so cosy and it had an incredible sea view! The smell of fresh air and the sea was lovely to wake up to in the mornings. We also had great sunny weather. Many cafes, bars, pubs and restaurants in the vicinity - absolutely no need for a taxi. The staff were very kind and always assisted when needed! They have gone above and beyond for us regarding an issue we were having on our first night. I will be coming back for sure!

Absolutely loved our stay! I took my mum for a night and we absolutely loved the room, such cosy and thoughtful decor. The staff were amazing- so efficient, helpful, friendly and really made a difference to the experience. Location is also great too. Highly recommend!

Our stay at the Guesthouse in Margate was really wonderful. We had a lookout suite room which was really beautiful inside, excellent interiors and beautifully clean. The view across the beach was lovely. The mini pantry is a really great touch and makes the stay more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend to others.

My wife and I had the most amazing end of year break here. Wonderful room and facilities that provided so much comfort with an amazing view of Margate beach. The breakfast and dinner we had were delicious and the service was brilliant. So attentive, polite and welcoming. Also, the car parking option was so helpful and gave us peace of mind. We also had spa treatments which for me were the best I can ever remember having. Ellie was my therapist and she was informative and super-friendly and made the experience so easy for me. I felt amazing afterwards and would happily return for another session! Can’t wait to return to Margate and I’m sure we will be booking at Number 42 again.
