When I looked at the hotel at first from outside I was a bit disappointed . It looked modern but a bit old from outside and wasn’t liking its exact position. However, I was about to pleasantly surprised later on . Hotel itself is small. The reception area is small. There was one sweet lady who helped us with our luggage . Our room 204 was quite spacious. However, they need to spray the room with some fragrance because when we entered , the room smelled bad and mushy . AC was working well . Everything else , including washroom was pretty neat and tidy . Point to note, there is no electronic locker to keep your belongings . There is no lunch dinner service in this hotel but they have a tie up with a restaurant outside from where you can order food and I found the food from that restaurant to be good . They however do offer breakfast services and it’s one of the rarest hotel in the area offering non veg in breakfast as well , which is basically eggs . Taste was really good of items like Vada, dosa etc . Service was excellent. Maybe that’s because the hotel was quite empty but I loved their service . They were always willing to help. In one occasion, the restaurant they tied up with was not picking up the call. The hotel immediately found a solution and resolved the case. They even allowed its to have our outside dinner in the dining hall which they opened specially for us. Location is close to Manipal university and good for students coming to this college . Overall, pleasantly surprised . Highly recommended for a night or two stay

I stayed here in the Hotel Tranquil, Manipal for 3 days in Mar 2024. I knew we will have great time here from the get go as we had excellent check-in experience with courteous and friendly staff. Location of this hotel is great. It is a few KMs away from the hustle and bustle of Udupi which is what we wanted. We just drove down to the temple, restaurants, beach, market area when we wanted. Parking for the car is convenient and right in front of the hotel. Rooms are large, spacious with enough space to move around, adequate storage to keep your luggage, clothes etc. Very good air conditioning. Breakfast fare is good, covers the usual range necessary for a satisfying breakfast. Lunch and dinner is provided by an external provider which is delivered to your room. We did not use this service as we had tons of options around the hotel and we were on the go thru out the day visiting places to see around. Hotel is ecofriendly too with water provided in glass bottles instead of plastic. Ask for a refill when you need one and it is promptly provided. This place ticked all my boxes and is highly recommended for a quiet and comfortable stay in Udupi / Manipal.

This is a nice cozy place to stay at Manipal. Centrally located & good for couple of days of stay. The staff are very friendly & courtious. Highly recommonded. The breakfast is good & you cannot expect more from a business hotel.

Hotel was neat and clean. Breakfast was very nice. Hotel is tie up with restaurant nearby, food can be order Lunch/Dinner from there. We travelled by own vehicle - Ample Parking space. Located nearby tourist spot. Overall Excellent stay. Recommended for Family.
