Premier Inn Manchester (Heaton Park)

The hotel itself was as expected and the staff in the hotel pleasant. The WiFi and mobile signal was poor unfortunately, but had it not been for the awful experience for dinner and breakfast I would have scored higher. I would return to the hotel, but will never step foot in that Beefeater again. The woman who appeared to be a manager on the Saturday afternoon was extremely unhelpful, miserable and had no customer service skills whatsoever. My order came and was incorrect and when I raised this I was made to feel very uncomfortable and like I was in the wrong. It then came correctly but was stone cold. Again that awful woman was very rude and no apology was given or attempt to compensate. She just stood there with a dirty look. Having already paid for breakfast when booking, I had no choice but to dine in there again. Coffee machine was dreadful, huge queue as slowest machine I've ever seen and then the drink was cold. Bacon tray was empty so had to wait for some and when it came was barely cooked. Requested a poached egg as stated in the menu options, but by the time it came my family had eaten and the other food I selected was cold. Juice and toast were nice but for that price just not good enough. Luckily the awful woman wasn't working in the morning.

Good efficient check in, very friendly receptionist, room was comfortable spacious and clean. Only downside was a lack of sleep due to a very noisy room above lots of noise for a long period during early hours Would ask for an upstairs room next time. Plenty of parking and easy to get an uber to the coop arena. Bar staff in evening could have been friendlier. Breakfast was great food choice friendly team

Had a great time at the premier inn - special mention to Mary on reception who was great fun and made us very welcome An asset to your company She will remember us from being "trouble" and for asking if she's Irish Meal deal was also very good and recommended
