Hotel in zona British Cycling, Manchester

A nice hotel, very busy due to the snow patrol concert. Had to wait until 5pm for our room to be ready but was offered a complementary drinks voucher while we waited. Cleanliness in the bathroom shower could have been better only a small window for the size of the room. Rest of the room excellent. Food was excellent both evening meal and breakfast with a good choice. Staff behind the bar friendly.

Location is the best ; just next to the Piccadilly station. Spacious room ; comfy ! Very good ventilation and air conditioned! Quiet room! Unfortunately my room was on the first floor so passes-by could see us through the windows if we didn’t use the curtain. Some stains were found on towels, in the bed sheets and on the dining table; luggage storage after check out needed a small fee in the storage room on the fifth floor; In spite of these I will still come again when I need to get back to Manchester :-)

Pros:Clean, elegante interno, eccellente servizio clienti, buon odore in tutte le aree, negozi vicino, grandi camere per standard britannico. Con: Non molto opzioni per il buffet colazione. Molto consigliata!

Il check-in si è svolto senza intoppi, all'arrivo nella camera assegnata siamo rimasti delusi dal fatto che gli ospiti precedenti utilizzassero ancora piatti e tazze fuori dalla porta alle 16.30. Camera ben presentata e spaziosa. La colazione era a buffet ed è quello che è un buffet, buone scelte non particolarmente calde ma OK. Dai un'occhiata, ok. Mi ha disturbato scoprire 2 giorni dopo che è stato effettuato un doppio pagamento: camera prenotata tramite Trip e pagata tramite PayPal prima dell'arrivo con conferma di prenotazione e pagamento. L'hotel ha detratto nuovamente il pagamento al momento del check out senza alcuna autorizzazione o discussione, è stato scoperto solo controllando l'estratto conto. Serve più attenzione alle prenotazioni. Stai attento !

My room was meant to be with king size bed but we got 2 single beds joined together, the single beds had wheels on them so they kept rolling away from each other. It would also move around when you’d try to get into bed. Beds were super high as well, and when they are on wheels it’s a bit tricky to get into one of them especially if you’re short and overweight. Tv was not working, super old so had no smart hub, so no Netflix or any other platforms, you can’t even stream your screen view from your phone. Antenna had no reception so you couldn’t even watch any regular tv programs. Other than that, shower was great and clean, everything else in the room was also clean and the room was pretty spacious which I really liked. Location is great, you have an access to a gym.

The hotel is only a short walk from Piccadilly station giving in great access to the trains. Its recent renovation really gives the hotel a clean trendy feel. Our room was spacious and equipped with everything you would need. The king bed and the pull out were comfortable. The bathroom is surprisingly large with lots of room if you need it. Breakfast was simple, but top quality from the hot to the cold options. Great stay.

Our stay at this hotel was lovely.The people at the front desk were friendly and warm and really helpful.The lady at the bar was also lovely and friendly.Every staff that we encountered at this hotel was lovely. The hotel has beautiful ambience and modern decor. The location of this hotel is super convenient as it’s very close to the city Center which by walking is about 6minutes.It is also close to the Manchester Picadilly train/tram station. The hotels location is also convenient to restaurants and a nice place called Spinningfield which is a 20 minute walk. We would stay again😊😊🙂

They sold our room and tried to make us rebook and pay again!! We booked 2 x double rooms for 3 nights and paid in full when booked (12th - 15th April). I requested adjacent rooms. Our flight got cancelled so 2 of us were unable to stay the first night. Our daughter travelling from elsewhere and arrived at the hotel the first night, 12th April, checked into one room and told them the situation and confirmed that we would be arriving the next day, 13th April. We arrived, tried to check in and the lady on reception said that our booking was for 12th and this was 13th so we would have to make a new booking and pay again!! I said no, I booked and paid for 2 rooms for 3 nights. She said because we didn't arrive on 12th our booking was cancelled. I said no it was not as our daughter checked in and told them the day before. I insisted I would not be rebooking and asked to speak to a manager. She eventually checked with a manager and said we could have a room. This was 3 floors down from our daughter and not what I'd booked. They had basically resold my room. I was glad to get a room but not impressed with their service. It was atrocious that I had paid £500+ for the booking but due to circumstances outwith my control - the flight being cancelled - they did not keep our room for us. They were informed of the situation and my daughter was staying there as part of the booking. They are not to be trusted. I wouldn't stay there again.

I recently stayed at the Britannia Hotel in Manchester and wanted to share my thoughts. Location: The location is definitely one of the hotel’s strongest points. However, if you go for one of the upgraded rooms, the experience is much better. Those rooms feel cleaner and more inviting. Breakfast: Breakfast is a solid deal at just £9. It’s not a luxury spread, but it gets the job done. You’ll find the usual options for a budget-friendly hotel breakfast. Staff: The staff are a highlight of the hotel. They’re very kind and helpful, making you feel welcome from check-in to check-out. Value for Money: Overall, this is a budget-friendly hotel, so you do get what you pay for. If you’re looking for a no-frills place to stay in a central location and don’t mind the dated vibe, it works. However, if comfort and modern amenities are a priority, you might want to explore other

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per una notte. Era convenientemente situato. Il personale della reception era gentile e ha fatto quello che doveva fare come hotel.
