Hotel in zona ETE NOVA VITORIA, Manaus

All rooms are one-bedroom apartments – much larger than the rooms of the competitive hotels. If possible, ask for a high floor room on the side with the view to the Rio Negro bridge. The front desk person spoke good English, the staff is friendly and the breakfast is good. There is a supermarket and a drugstore across the street. Several good restaurants and a big mall are in a few minutes walking distance.

Le strutture sono assolutamente buone a livello locale. Certo, non aspettare troppo alto. Principalmente altri hotel sono troppo poveri per aiutare, quindi in generale è consigliabile

La camera era proprio come nelle foto, letto e cuscini super comodi. Ottima vista dal balcone della camera e dalla piscina. C'era un po' di cattiva comunicazione tra il personale se la sauna o la vasca idromassaggio funzionavano (né lo erano). Buona varietà anche per la colazione.

L'hotel è molto ben situato e si trova nella regione centrale di Manaus. Ho una buona struttura e dispone di un buon colazione. Ho soggiornato per 02 giorni nell'alloggio, ma ho prenotato solo 01 per Trip. Il punto negativo è il primo giorno, dove sono state due cadute di energia durante la mattina, lasciando la stanza senza aria condizionata. Il calore di Manaus è terribile e l'energia è tornata solo poche 02 ore dopo. Per la struttura dell'hotel, dovrebbero avere un buon generatore.

It can be a good experience here... with some luck. Stayed here twice and the experience was miles apart, even though I ordered the same kind of room -a triple with a window. Yes, not all rooms have windows. The first time, they gave me room 106, and it was pretty awful. Very run down. A/C blows over the bed, which is what I wanted to avoid by ordering a nicer room. Fortunately, with some manual rigging of the A/C unit, that problem was solved. Mattress was serviceable. But the main issue was the water. The shower ran at a trickle, and never hot. I need to get out of there by 7:00 for an Amazon tour, and their ad hoc fix was to let me use the shower the workers use. You can imagine the state that shower was in. Not ideal at all. Oh, and 7:00 is when breakfast starts. After being used to 6:00 start times in Brazil, I was disappointed I would not have breakfast. Fortuntely that worked out -my driver was late, and some things were already getting put out by 6:50. I will say, for the price of rooms here, it's a good breakfast, though heavy on carbs. All said and done, the manager was very apologetic about the hot water situation, and offered me free lunch or dinner. Lunch/dinner also seems to be a buffet, with middle class Brazilians always holding parties there, it seems. That said, I declined, asking instead for a late checkout the next time I stayed (after my tour), for 1:30 pm. That was done, and they gave me a much better room -202. This one is borderline classy, with a faded elegance, 3 large windows, and most importantly working HOT WATER! Too bad the safe didn't work. Nor did the second safe they brought up. It's OK, nothing was stolen, but these are things that a hotel with its act together should be able to manage. Oh... and about that 1:30 PM late checkout... I did get it, but not before I was awoken at 1:30 in the middle of the NIGHT, by a member of the staff who mistakenly thought I asked to check out at 1:30 in the morning!! See, this is what I mean about ”good luck.” It can be a nice place if they run a tighter ship.

Abbiamo effettuato la prenotazione sulla base delle foto diffuse. Sembrava davvero un hotel 4 stelle, come annunciato. Arrivando all'hotel, notiamo un odore sgradevole nella reception. Per rispondere alle 11 piani di camera, c'era solo un ascensore in funzione, questo piccolo e con un odore estremamente sgradevole. La preoccupazione per la pandemia di Covid-19 non esiste. Molti funzionari non indossavano maschere, così come molti distributori di alcol gel erano vuoti. La prima stanza che ci è stata messa a disposizione mostrava un aspetto decadente. Letto scomodo, vestiti da letto strappati, pulizia deficiente (compreso un cappello sul letto), oltre al rumore è piuttosto scomodo. La denuncia ci hanno ricamato in un secondo quarto. Questo era ancora peggio. Abbiamo trovato spugne, formi, una lattina di birra nel bagno e il letto era estremamente incomodo. Fai una nuova denuncia, siamo stati ricampediti in una terza camera, questo era un po' meglio e è stato possibile continuare il soggiorno. L'ultimo giorno del viaggio, la chiusura elettronica ha presentato problemi e il team dell'hotel ha preso circa un'ora per effettuare la riparazione. Va anche sottolineato la bassa qualità del caffè mattinale. Per le foto sul sito di prenotazione sembrava essere un pasto completo, tuttavia, ci sono solo alcune opzioni di pranzi caldi, uno o due tipi di torta, caffè, succo e solo un tipo di pane. Per concludere, abbiamo sottolineato la mancanza di cortesia del personale durante le richieste e le aspettative.

After the drought in the Amazon cut our 9 day camping tour short, we found Mural Living as a last minute accommodation for a shower, wi-fi, and air conditioning. Over the next few days, it became our home as we scrambled to find another tour operator. The hotel is centrally located, clean, and feels like home. We loved the hot showers, the quick service requests, all the kindness shown when communicating with me in my awful Portuguese, and the general low key vibe of the place. We ended up staying 3 nights, each morning coming down and asking to stay another night but keeping the same room. They so kindly obliged. I'm a huge fan of this hotel and whole-heartedly recommend it for others. It'll feel like a home away from home.
