I went in 2019 for the first time and everything looked good. Went again in july 2024 but the picture changed... Disappointing experience... Never coming back again... The pictures I uploaded speak for themselves, I don't understand how this hotel still qualifies for 5 stars.

Not even Close to a 5* hotel. Terrible experience! Very dirty, the room and the bathroom wasn’t cleaned once in 5 days, just topped up the towels and the toilet paper. Run out out of shampoo and shower gel after 2 days. Went to reception twice to ask for some cleaning products. The resort toilets were very dirty, probably cleaned once a day… They advertised that there are 4 restaurants in the resort, arrived at the property around 15:00 and till 19:00 there is nothing you can eat in the resort, eventually find out there are just 2 restaurant with food serving 07:00-10:00 breakfast, 13:00-15:00 lunch, 19:00-21:00 dinner. Surprise at the end of our stay we found out our car was damaged in the car park (it was a fight between staff members for some unpaid debts), reported to reception, they looked on the CCTV’s but they just ignored our complain and said they can’t do anything about it and asked to call or go to Police station to submit a complaint. Not recommend this property! Disappointed!

Never ever even think about staying in this hotel. 5star can not have paper cups at breakfast for coffee. 5 star can not have one type of fruits for breakfast (only apples in the country which is great for its fruits). 5 star can not have dangerous smell in the toilet of Supreme 2 stage Suite and paper holder which is hardly holding. 5 stars can not have curtains half taken off and I should not fix it myself.

The advertisement of the hotel was quite good and the rating of it is 5 stars, but when we arrived it began to look very suspicious and nothing like it was advertised. The whole hotel is filled with cheap and tacky 18th century furniture which has stains all over it and half of it seems very used. On every floor of the residential complex there was a wonderful view of an old, yellow microwave, fridge with questionable water bottles, dirty coffee machine and a showcase dedicated to baked goods. Thank god we did not bring any UV light with us, because otherwise we wouldn’t be able to sleep at night and if I had a sleeping bag I would have rather slept there. The service in the hotel was abysmal, barely English speaking personnel, no disregard about the wellbeing of the guests. One of my favourite things was the fact that after having lunch you didn’t have the option to pay at the very place where you just ate, instead you had to take a long walk ( at least 500 metres ) away from the beach to get to restaurant where you had to pay the bill. I guess they haven’t figured out how to exchange money between departments in the hotel yet. P.S. All drinks including coffee are served in paper/plastic cups. I could write a very long description of my experience in this hotel, but to sum it up, Phoenicia hotel is like a tacky, sticky, stinking and repelling piece of furniture left in a dark alley to be used as a toilet by stray dogs and hobos.

This hotel is by no means 5 stars. He doesn't have 4 either. To start with the good things: the food is good, varied and fresh. Children have quite a lot of activities and places for fun. Otherwise, we didn't like anything. First of all, there is no hygiene minimum. Everything is polluted: all the bathrooms in the hotel lobby are full of urine and feces, nobody cleaned the bathroom in the room while I was there (I didn't bring a mop and cleaning products for the sink and the shower because I didn't- I thought something like this was needed for 5 stars), the floor in the dining room is sticky from so much unwashed dirt over the weeks, the tables are "wiped" with a greasy cloth from time to time (it spreads more microbes from a table to another), the mattresses on the beach are so soft that you want to vomit, all the playgrounds are miserable and with old furniture. Absolutely awful! Everything is extremely dirty! Inadmissible for a 5-star hotel!!! There is a focus of infection!
