Coperte aggiuntive nel cassetto se necessario. Una scatola spaziale per perdere tutte le tue cose. Cassetto e frigorifero presente. Specchi lunghi per ammirare te stesso prima di uscire dalla porta. - Sono corde scure. Bella camera da bagno, doccia, champagne e sapone. Camere ben tenute da persone che lavorano duramente per la pulizia. La colazione è molto grande e deliziosa. Personale presso la reception amichevole e utile. Personale della cucina e il servizio anche molto amichevole e utile. Piscina presente. Solo che non era ancora riempito, perché era aprile. Lo spazio fitness presente solo non ha fatto tempo per usarlo. C'e' anche la possibilità di lavarti i vestiti. Rethimno centro/vecchia città a piedi. Molti negozi e cibo intorno. - Si', consiglio di stare in questo hotel.

La struttura è posizionata fronte mare, basta attraversare la strada (molto trafficata) e ci si trova in spiaggia. Sono in dotazione ombrellone e lettini, l'ingresso in acqua è molto sassoso, ma dopo un metro circa c'è solo sabbia e l'acqua è molto bella e fresca. Camminare sulla spiaggia non è agevole data la presenza di sassi di varie dimensioni, meglio munirsi di calzature adatte. Siamo capitati con giorno anche ventosi che non hanno agevolato la fruizione della spiaggia e quindi abbiamo spesso camminato fino quasi al porto di Rethymno dove c'è più copertura e meno vento. L'hotel non è molto grande, ma ben organizzato. Il personale genitlissimo. Un plauso particolare ai camerieri del pool bar e alla signora che gestisce il personale di sala nel ristorante alla sera. Sono persone squisite. Ottima la posizione del bar della piscina, ombreggiato per lo più e ventilato. Il ristorante principale ha un bello spazio esterno, ma poco spazio all'interno il che era per noi un problema dato che siamo capitati con 40/45 gradi e preferivamo mangiare dentro con aria condizionata piuttosto che fuori al caldo. Cucina molto buona, in special modo i piatti greci. Prezzi del bar della piscina ottimi come anche il cibo. Insomma: abbiamo mangiato benissimo! La camera quadrupla è un mini appartamento con due stanze e un grande bagno, siamo stati molto molto bene. Alcune cose migliorabili come la pulizia della piscina (piccola se paragonata al numero di ospiti) ed alcuni dettagli in camera. Comunque per qualsiasi problema il personale è molto attento. A 20 minuti a piedi da Rethymno - camminata sul marciapiede lungomare affiancata alla strada molto trafficata e senza un'ombra - raggiungibile in 5 minuti in taxi (6 euro). La cittadina merita, è molto bella. Peccato il caldo atroce che non ci ha permesso di visitare altri luoghi e di godere appieno della vacanza, ma questo non è dipeso da nessuno. In complesso è una struttura in cui torneremmo, siamo stati bene.

We had an enjoyable stay in the Creta Marine in mid-October. Hotel 4/5 - We found the hotel to be generally very nice, it's big and the grounds merge seamlessly with the next door Iberostar Panorama hotel, giving it an even bigger feel. There's a mixture of large apartment blocks and a really nice village feel to the various Bungalows, helped by the well manicured grounds throughout. That said although some of the hotel has been modernised, some areas feel a little tired, the main pool area, and the gym in particular were a let down. We arrived late (thanks EasyJet), so check-in was a breeze, but there weren't any refreshments available, which would have been nice given we'd missed dinner. Location 4/5 - situated in a remote part of the island, there's nothing nearby other than a small shop, and the transfer time (coach) was ~2 hours from Chania Airport. However, it's in a really beautiful spot with multiple private protected coves/beaches, ideal for swimming/snorkeling. Rooms 3/5 - we stayed in the Bungalows, which are situated in a great location, especially the Waterfront ones, although the decor and bathrooms are in need of a total refresh. You do get a free mini bar, with beer, water, soft drinks and a bottle of red wine, which was nice, but this isn't refreshed. Food/Drink 4/5 - We found the food to be generally very tasty with plenty of choices. The drinks were good too, mainly local brands although some international brands were available on All Inclusive, and others at a charge. That said, a major downside was even when you asked for an international brand (e.g. Bacardi), the bar staff would more often than not substitute it for a local brand, which was disappointing, as it felt like you had to argue for what you wanted every time! Entertainment 4/5 - The poolside team worked really hard, and although we didn't get too involved, everyone that did seemed to have fun. We mainly stayed in the Bar area in the evening, and there was some really good singers/bands, more of that please! Guests 3/5 - The guests on the whole were pleasant, with ~90% being German when we stayed, and the rest made up of English/French/Portuguese/Danish etc, which was fine for us, maybe not if you have kids? However, there were multiple occasions of rudeness, pushing in and generally selfish behaviour from some of the older German guests, which was a shame, clearly not the Hotels fault at all - but something to expect/be aware of if booking this hotel. Conclusion 4/5 - Would we go back? Absolutely, we loved our stay, and I expect most of the improvement areas I've highlighted can/will be addressed by the hotel.

Un hotel evidentemente ben gestito e manutenuto. Personale competente e gentile. Camere arredate in modo funzionale e con mobilio recente. Pulizia generale soddisfacente ed attenzioni riguardo alle avvertenze Covid ben rispettate. Ampia varietà di pietanze sia a colazione sia a cena. Unica pecca la mancanza di parcheggio privato e diverse auto ”abbandonate” in strada che limitano i posti (non certamente imputabile alla gestione della struttura). Posizione centrale rispetto ai principali siti turistici.
