Hotel in zona Nekummerwatermolen, Maastricht

Prenotazione temporanea.Circa 200 metri a piedi sono all'hotel, molto conveniente.Arrivo alle 12.00 di sera, c'è una stanza senza sole, perché lo sapevo in anticipo, quindi non importa, e andrò presto il giorno dopo.Il design dell'hotel ha ancora avuto il cuore.

This is the first time we have stayed in a property in this price range that was badly antiquated, poorly run, and lacked any modern management that we wanted to escape almost directly after checking in. We should have been more conscious honestly after reading the TA reviews as the management apparently only responds to positive reviews but never to negative ones....a clear sign there is a lack of any accountability or leadership in a property honestly. Beyond the poor communications in advance of our stay we have to say that the rooms have not been refurbished since the 1970s at best and were stuffy, dark, and kind of sad honestly to the point where we worried about sticking to something. While some of the junior staff were friendly enough, the communication with management was poor and when we asked how we could best accomodate the needs of our children, we were simply told that one could sleep in our bed and they could set up a crib for the other child....at a rental cost of 15 euro a day!!!!! In my decades of traveling I have not ever found a single 4 star property that charged a daily rate on using a baby crib in a room and in general this left us the rather pressing feeling that families are not welcome here! Otherwise, if you are taking a train to Maastricht it is an ideal location as the hotel is located almost directly next to the train station and the noise is not so bad at night. In general though, this property felt like an obsolete dinosaur with no central leadership or accountability to its guests. The sad fact though is that with one of the Netherland's best hospitality schools based within the city limits, this poor service could easily be remedied we argued with some fresh blood and investment, but instead it looks like the owners just want to rest on the Amrath's accolades (and its presumed '4 stars') from yesteryear. A true pity and waste of money these days especially in such a hospitable city as Maasstricht where the Crowne Plaza nearby is clean, well run, and equally convenient.

La stanza è grande e toccante Le scarse dimensioni degli hotel europei lo sanno tutti In effetti, il concetto dell'hotel è simile a quello di un appartamento condiviso. Il design è popolare nell'industria del Nord Europa + negli ultimi anni, adatto alle celebrità online per scattare foto. La posizione è ottima. Ci vogliono solo 10 minuti per andare in centro città per mangiare, bere e comprare. Il caffè al piano di sotto, il supermercato biologico e i ristoranti e caffè circostanti L'hotel è stato ricostruito sulla base di una fabbrica di ceramiche, quindi è molto di moda con il nuovo e il vecchio~ Il concetto si concentra sulla condivisione di ”studenti”, quindi il personale di servizio dell'hotel è più amichevole e informale? Ho dato un gelato quando ho fatto il check-in. I dettagli sono piuttosto carini. Ancora attenzione: lavanderia e stireria possono andare solo nella lavanderia unificata al primo piano dell'hotel Lavanderia, tipo self-service a gettoni, stireria panni, ci sono attrezzature a volontà

Hotel moderno arredato con stile non banale ma molto raffinato. Camere larghe e comode con tutti i comfort. Letti e cuscini comodissimi . Ottima la pulizia in generale. Colazione super assortita e di eccellente qualità pur pagando a parte ne vale la pena anche perché servita in una sala colazione molto bella. L hotel si trova adiacente ad un grande parco e allo stadio (piccolo ma molto bello). Ha un grande parcheggio recintato di pertinenza che non è poca cosa visto i costi in Olanda. Il centro è facilmente raggiungibile con i mezzi o con la bici che l albergo fornisce con un fitto più che ragionevole, altrimenti una passeggiata di 15 min a piedi e sei in centro visto la dimensione di Maastricht.

I was with my husband and we celebrated the 2nd portion of our honeymoon, a wedding gift from our friends and family. Our check-in was smooth and the staff gave us an upgrade to a junior suite with a note and some deliciouschocolates. It was lovely but not very sound proof from other guests. The room could use a few updates as well but the view was beautiful. The property is gorgeous with the château, sculptures, church, rose garden and natural surroundings. We enjoyed our Saturday night dinner at the grill and the service was very good. There are limited dining options on Sunday evening if you don't wish to leave the property. I had a massage with Maureen and she worked wonders on a troublesome back problem. A true professional. The breakfast buffet was quite extensive with local products as well but very busy. Not a calm environment with large groups and an impolite guest on her phone but we appreciated the quality of the food, options and service team. We enjoyed our stay but felt that for such an incredible setting, there was a certain charm lacking with such a whirlwind of comings and goings. Perhaps a future stay but not during peak season.

Tutto nuovo e pulito. Belle camere moderne. Molto amichevole e cura del personale alla reception, ****** e zona ristorante. Una buona colazione (uova scrambled e bacon cucinato per ordinare). Tutto in un buon posto per passare la notte. Se in questo campo ci ritroveremmo certamente.

Bij aankomst werden wij heel hartelijk en met de glimlach ontvangen door een heel vriendelijke vrouw. Ze gaf ons uitleg en bracht ons naar onze kamer. De kamer was netjes, ruim, gezellig aangekleed en er was veel lichtinval, waar wij echt van genoten. De indeling van de meubels vonden wij ook superleuk! Het was een super rustgevende kamer met een heel ruimtelijk gevoel. In hotelkamers voelen wij ons soms opgesloten, maar dat was hier absoluut niet het geval! Er was heel veel opbergruimte in ruime kasten, superhandig! De badkamer was volledig in orde met een mooie ruime inloopdouche. Alles werkte perfect! We vonden het wel super jammer dat het zwembad enkel tussen 17u en 19u gratis te gebruiken was. De spa bijboeken was niet meer mogelijk omdat het vol geboekt was. Wij hadden ENORM uitgekeken naar een gezellige relaxerende “avondzwembeurt”. Bij het boeken via deze app van Trip hadden wij nergens gezien dat het zwembad niet continu vrij te gebruiken was. Ook is het voor ons te duur om dat er nog bij te boeken helaas. Het ontbijt was voor ons wat minder. Er waren een aantal dingen die we niet zo aangenaam vonden, vb niet alle vaat was proper, 1 van de potjes van het dessertenbuffet was blijkbaar gebroken, enkele mini eclairs in de frigo waren “geschonden” en dat zag er niet zo smakelijk uit, de granola-torens waren nogal leeg… De zaal waarin het ontbijt plaats vond, vonden wij wel super!! Het is een beleving op zich! Wij waanden ons in een heel andere wereld. Dat geldt ook voor het hele gebouw, de gangen, de tuin,… De tuin is sprookjesachtig. Als wij niet zo snel weg moesten, hadden wij daar graag wat tijd doorgebracht. Een superleuk ingerichte woning en tuin, super rustgevend, de gangen zijn ook heel mooi ingericht, het verzet echt je gedachten op een positieve manier en wij wilden hier super graag nog langer blijven!! Als wij een groter budget hadden, dan kwamen we hier voor langere periode en boekten we de spa erbij, want voor rust hebben deze eigenaars zeker gezorgd!! Wij hebben echt genoten van ons verblijf hier en raden het aan!
