Even for a budget hotel this is a definite blot on the Ibis name. Mouldy bathroom, one mattress like a brick and the other so thin that you could feel every part of the rickety pull out frame that it was sat on. No others available when we complained. Our party of 4 had a terrible night's sleep. This hotel is best avoided I'm afraid!

Places in need or refit grubby bathroom Bed was comfortable clean and sheets clean towels Drinks are in paper cups with not a lot of selection of tea coffee If you like McDonald’s or KFC, they’re on site along with Costa Coffee at extortionate prices also M&S simply food mini market on site also Pretty much in the same state as it was about five years ago, really block the place from ibis buget hotels they are much better in Europe

We arrived late at night the guy on reception was helpful and apologetic that they had no cold drinks left.. If only that was the worst!! We were given room 10, it was a good sized room but that was the only plus! On entering all you could smell was the toilet!! The bathroom was gross.. dirty old empty soap dispenser holders, bath panel falling apart, dirty toilet, one of the 'clean' towels had skid marks!! The paper cups for hot drinks were dirty so couldn't even have a drink.. And as for the beds.. the double bed looked clean enough but the bedding stunk and not in a good way and there was dark hairs in the bed (we're all fair haired)! The sofa bed was made up for my daughter.. Well I wouldn't have put a dog on it!! The seat cushions were stood at the head and there was more stains that material, the whole sofa was the same and again the bedding stank! We had to cover the pillows to be able to get any sleep! This hotel should be a health hazard!! Avoid!!

We were so pleased with everything, I must say I am surprised others had a bad experience ... first iff, so convenient to have many eateries. Second, our room was spotlessly clean. Third, the bad and pillows were great. So great that I noted the pillow make to be able to get it for our hime! Biggest issue was no internet. Big mistake on motel's part IMO.

Excellent place to stay when you decide to have a break en route to Scotland. Prefer Premier Inn but as a last minute decision they were over twice as expensive. Very basic, no bar no breakfast. Fairly quiet, comfortable bed. Reception open 24hrs

Having stayed here I was a little disappointed this time as since it left the ibis brand the standard has gone down. The room had cobwebs on the ceiling above the window which had clearly been there a while, the rooms could do with a little makeover just to tidy them up a bit, but considering it’s by the truck stop it’s relatively quiet, but the staff are helpful and pleasant.

A great night stay! This place was lovely. I had bad doubts about reading the reviews but the room was lovely! Fresh white cotton sheets was a pleasant touch on my sensitive skin. The reason I chose 4 stars instead of 5 was due to the lack of cleanliness in the bathroom. There were skid marks in the toilet 😱😱😱😱. This was sorted immediately after I complained so not a big problem. I will be returning when I plan to tour the north and need a place to stay for the night!

A very helpful and friendly reception. Located in a pleasant motorway services built round a quadrangle with a choice of food outlets. The bedroom was clean and comfortable. It was a bit difficult to park very near the motel as it did not have it's own dedicated area. I would definitely use it again.

The corridor needs new carpet, the room not mooped fully but i couldnt complain as it was a one day stay. They also dont have interlock rooms for family, especially if you have a crowling baby. They provided fridge at the reception though i would have loved it in the room.
