Stayed for 1 night as a solo traveller. Check in very easy and quick and shown to room by staff which was a nice touch. Room was lovely....Nice view of yacht club and harbour area. Beautifully decorated, window frames very quirky and twisted due to style and age of them. Fresh ground coffee and cafetiere in the room which was nice although I was unsure what to do with the coffee grounds after I'd finished with them....there was a stainless steel container but wasn't sure of that's what it was for. Bathroom was huge with bath and huge shower. Lovely toiletry products, lots of nice little extras. Breakfast was very tasty. I had a full English which was delicious....sausages were very tasty. My only mention would be that it was a little pricey for 1 person (£190), but I do appreciate it was a double room.

I got dragged to this pub on a day of our holiday and on first visit I was little sulky as wanted to be able to see the sea. However great spot, food and service . Returned happily second trip for longer lazy Saturday afternoon visit - enjoying the sunshine

Excellent stay, 2 nights sea/river view room. Large Room, comfortable bed. Arrived a little early, and got checked in immediately. Location is a good 10 minute stroll to Lymington High Street, apart from that all is good with the Mayflower. Service is excellent, very good and efficient staff team/group. Food Offering was good, the steak night (Thursday) good value for money. The Butcombe Best Bitter, was excellent. The key test will I return - Absolutely.

Very friendly and well located hotel. Check in was quick and easy and we were shown to our room by the Manager. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. There is Tea & Coffee making facilities in the room. Had dinner in the restaurant and also breakfast the next morning, both very nice indeed. Well located for the Quay and Lymington town. Would definitely recommend a stay.

Very nice hotel in a great position with lots of parking Rooms very nice - staff very friendly - thanks to Marcel Breakfast was lovely as was the evening menu Only point of improvement would be to put highlighted edging on the steps down from the back decking to the garden - you can lose your depth perception as the steps are all the same colour Will return

Run for the staff rather than the clients, just tried to have breakfast was told reservations only , eight people in restaurant , my suggestion of booking for 15 minutes time was ignored. So we walked on and had a great English breakfast over looking the harbour upstairs at the Haven. Chalk & cheese.

Following a two night stay at the Mayflower, we found the staff truly incredible [ Marcell, Bev & Carla]. They were all so helpful and cheerful. Rooms were comfortable and breakfast and dinner were both very good. We will return. if you are going to the Mayflower you should join their loyalty club, which gives you lots of deals.

Excellent location, very friendly staff, large, clean rooms and very dog friendly. The breakfasts are absolutely enormous; we ended up asking for half of everything and it was still large. Service was very good too, and very friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel (unless you hate dogs). If I could criticise anything, I would have liked to see a more varied menu at dinner with slightly more choice but as our stay was midweek and slightly off season it was perhaps to be expected. What was on offer was very good.

I have just had Christmas dinner with family here today and what a beautiful place it is xx Not only a great location but the staff here are exceptional, as well as the food! Marcel and Beth are wonderful hosts and I was in doggy heaven as they are welcome too! With a treat as soon as they come through the door! Little things make a massive difference, so we’ll done Mayflower you were totally fab xx
